"Enough," Asher, who had grown tired of Sarah's whining said, his voice colder than before. "I've made my decision. If you don't support it, you're free to leave."
Sarah's breath hitched, shock rippling through her. "I'm your Luna, Asher. You can't just cast me aside whenever it suits you."
Asher's gaze softened, a flicker of regret crossing his face. "I'm not casting you aside, Sarah. Besides, the way you were shocked to see Skylar right then, I hope you didn't have anything to do with her supposed disappearance."
"How dare you?!" She yelled in anger. "I was shocked to see her just as anyone would be."
"I don't see Derek as shocked as you."
She growled, "I… I wasn't guilty! I am not guilty!"
"Better," he said to his feet. "Because if I find out that you had anything to do with her going missing all that time, you will regret it."
