Chapter 17.
Alyssa 's POV
I heard the doorbell ring as I was preparing a meal for the family. I quickly suspended what I was doing to go check who it was. I hopefully, I was waiting for a good news behind every ringing doorbell.
As I opened the door, I couldn't find anyone behind it, all I could see was a white envelope dropped on the ground just close to the door. I quickly took as I went back inside to to reveal it's content.
I was so excited when I saw it's content, it's an acceptance letter into the New York university, NYU. I've been patiently waiting for this for weeks. Finally, I can leave the shit hole of a kingdom.
Don't get me wrong if I use a very offensive description for my kingdom, but that just how I can describe this town. And I've been trying my best to leave it behind, the reason for my application at NYU.
