Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: The Name of the Continent

While the group of elderly people were still confused and worried about their fate, Luo Mingde had already fully recovered with the help of the immortal body.

The sudden return to health made him momentarily forget his hunger, despite not having eaten for over ten hours.

Just moments earlier, he had only half his body functioning. Now, he was moving around as if he were completely healthy. For an old man who had spent his life studying physics, this was a mind-blowing experience. He raised his hands, stretched his legs, and tested his newly restored body, all while eyeing Wang Yan with confusion.

"This... this isn't scientific!" Luo Mingde exclaimed.

"Science?" Wang Yan chuckled. "Master Luo, I brought you here from Earth to this world. None of this is scientific. Now, please eat something. Don't stay hungry!"

"That's not the point," Luo Mingde said with the rigor of an old-school physicist. "Quantum theory suggests that space-time travel could be possible. That's very scientific, but current Earth technology hasn't achieved it yet."

Uh...

So space-time travel is something in physics?

Wang Yan wasn't sure how to respond. He looked at Luo Mingde, thankful that he had finally found someone who seemed like the right person to help build his planet.

He needed people like this—scholars and experts in various fields.

"Young man, it seems you've already mastered an advanced form of space-time travel. We'll need to discuss this later and study the principles," Luo Mingde continued, his eyes lighting up with intellectual curiosity. In his mind, he was already imagining standing on a Nobel Prize stage.

The strong academic aura from Luo Mingde overwhelmed Wang Yan: "..."

Principles? The only principle I have is the World Tree!

Standing before Xie Yufei made Wang Yan feel like a fool. Now, standing in front of Luo Mingde made him feel like an uneducated kid.

It was humbling to be the Lord of a planet.

"Master Luo, please eat first," Wang Yan said, eager to change the topic. "I'll have someone explain everything to you later."

Without waiting for a response, Wang Yan flashed away, not wanting to get into a conversation about quantum physics with the old professor. He barely understood any of it and didn't want to make himself look even more foolish.

Caesar Tribe.

When Wang Yan returned to the Caesar Tribe, he was left speechless.

The tribe lived in caves halfway up a mountain, with a vast square outside the caves surrounded by a dense forest. Or at least, that was how it had been. Now, the smell of smoke hung in the air, and at least a kilometer of forest had been reduced to charred, blackened ground.

Tribal members were walking across the scorched land, clearing away burnt trees and rocks that had not been fully destroyed. Others were busy extinguishing small fires still smoldering in the area.

On the square itself, the women were cheerfully preparing large prey, using stone knives to separate meat from bones and cutting it into large pieces to roast. Children ran around, helping to put the bones into large boiling pots.

It was a bustling scene of industrious activity.

Amidst all this, Xie Yufei was directing the operations, organizing tasks, and correcting mistakes. The large speakers in the square were connected to Wang Yan's laptop, blasting cheerful music into the air: "Today is a good day..."

Everyone was so engrossed in their work that they didn't even notice the return of their "God of Light."

In just over ten hours, the Caesar Tribe had undergone drastic changes.

"Xie Yufei, what have you done now?" Wang Yan asked as he approached her.

"Wang Yan, you're back!" Xie Yufei's pretty face was smudged with soot, giving her the appearance of a painted cat. But she didn't care. She was excited to see Wang Yan. "Did you bring everyone back?"

"I did," Wang Yan nodded. "But what are you doing?"

"Building!" Xie Yufei said with a grin. "Haven't you ever played real-time strategy games? The first step in every game is to build. And for that, you need space. The Caesar Tribe's square was too small for infrastructure, so I had to clear land. The Magic Flame Army has been very effective at starting fires."

"Magic Flame Army?" Wang Yan repeated, confused.

"Yeah! That's what I'm calling them," Xie Yufei said, beaming. "In the future, Emperor Caesar will lead his Magic Flame Army to conquer the continent, spreading the glory of the God of Light—and, of course, the Moon Goddess."

"Moon Goddess?" Wang Yan swallowed nervously.

"That's me," Xie Yufei said proudly, pointing to herself. "I'm in a new world, so I have to leave my mark. I considered calling myself the Goddess of War, but that felt a little too aggressive. The Moon Goddess has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"

The Moon Goddess doesn't sound low-key at all! And it's like she's just playing a game here!

Wang Yan opened his mouth to protest but thought better of it. After all, he was being called the God of Light, so he had no room to talk.

Wang Yan said cautiously, "Uh, the satellites on this planet aren't called moons..."

"It doesn't matter! I'll call it whatever I want," Xie Yufei said confidently. "We're building something new here, and we get to name it. The continent beneath our feet? I'm calling it the Bright Continent. Doesn't that sound great? Better than naming it something like Europe or America!"

She's been here for just a little while, and she's already named the continent...

Well, at least I don't have to think of a name myself!

Bright Continent... It's not bad, actually.

Wang Yan found himself nodding along. "There are four more continents. Have you named them too?"

"Yes! Light, Darkness, Nature, Order, and Chaos. Doesn't it sound magical?"

"It does... but it feels like I'm inside a video game," Wang Yan said with a frown.

"Do you have a better idea?" Xie Yufei raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you were planning to name them after continents on Earth, like Asia or Africa. That's so outdated! We're in a new world, Wang Yan. Let's make it unique!"

"Fine, we'll go with your names for now," Wang Yan conceded. "If we come up with something better later, we can always change it."

Satisfied, Xie Yufei smiled. "So, where are the people?"

"I've brought them," Wang Yan said, remembering his mission. "I'll take you to the storage area first, then I'll bring over the elite experts. You'll be in charge of convincing them to help."
