Ryan fell silent, his mind racing as he contemplated his next move. Although Ryan's main goal was in the Polons Kingdom, there was nothing wrong with him carrying out a mission in the Dement Kingdom. However, after considering everything, Ryan thought it would be better to settle matters in Polons first, then he, Ellina, and Charlotte could quickly move on to the Dement Kingdom.
After weighing all of that, Ryan nodded. His gaze returned to Rosseline, who now appeared increasingly anxious.
"You have two choices," Ryan spoke in a firm tone. "The first choice is to come with us. The second choice is to die here, so I don't have to worry about you leaking information about me."
Those words hit Rosseline like sledgehammers. Her body trembled, and cold sweat began to flow at her temples. Fear was clearly visible on Rosseline's face, to the point where she could hardly lift her head to look at Ryan.
"If... if I go with you," Rosseline's voice trembled, "will you hurt me? Or... do you want my body?" Rosseline asked with palpable fear, as if trying to ascertain her fate.
Ryan was taken aback, momentarily silent, before looking at Rosseline with a more peculiar expression. "I have two beautiful women by my side," Ryan replied coldly, "why would I want you?"
Ryan's response immediately shocked and struck Rosseline. All this time, Rosseline had always been admired for her beauty; the men around her were captivated by her charm.
However, for the first time, someone completely disregarded the beauty that had always been Rosseline's pride. Her self-esteem was shaken, and for a moment, Rosseline felt as if her world had turned upside down.
Rosseline lifted her head with a heart full of doubt. Her gaze fell on Ellina and Charlotte, who stood gracefully near Ryan. The two women were so beautiful and enchanting that their presence seemed to drown Rosseline in the shadow of insignificance.
Rosseline's heart trembled as she realized that with the two of them by Ryan's side, perhaps Ryan truly did not need her. Yet, her self-esteem rebelled, refusing to accept that bitter reality.
Rosseline quickly shook her head, trying to dispel the feelings of worthlessness that began to creep into her mind. Her eyes glanced at Ryan, and in the chilling silence, Rosseline pondered.
Thoughts swirled in Rosseline's mind, bringing forth fears and worries that had long been hidden behind her tough exterior.
Rosseline imagined the possibility of living without following Ryan, and that grim vision gripped her heart with deep fear. What if she encountered Welos again?
Just that thought was enough to freeze Rosseline's blood. However, what was even more terrifying was the image of herself alone, powerless against the dangers lurking in every corner. Rosseline did not want to experience the terror that had nearly taken her life before.
As she reflected, Rosseline began to see Ryan in a different light. Although Ryan might not seem like a good person at first glance, he was not someone who killed without reason. There was something about Ryan that made Rosseline feel safe, even if just a little. That feeling, mixed with the fear that continued to haunt her, pushed Rosseline to make a decision that would change the course of her life.
Rosseline looked at Ryan with newfound determination. "I... I will go with you!" Rosseline's voice trembled with a hint of firmness, though nervousness was still clearly visible on her face.
Ryan stared at Rosseline for a moment, her eyes sharp and full of consideration. "...Alright," Ryan finally replied, in a calm yet firm tone.
