Chapter 61 - Ch 61: The Giant Eye Ball

However, Ryan, Ellina, Charlotte, and Rosseline remained in their room. They waited quietly inside, not too concerned about the passengers.

Ryan stood near the window of the room, looking out at the horizon from the Magic Airship that was currently docked at the Magic Airship Dock, with his trademark flat expression. In front of Ryan's eyes, the magnificent Sky Dock appeared bustling with activity.

Flying ships were landing and taking off gracefully, each with such unique and striking designs.

Some were shaped like mythical creatures—a sturdy bear-shaped ship, another with a fierce wolf design, and many more that made the dock look like a giant floating zoo.

Ryan briefly shifted his gaze towards Windfall City, a border town bridging the Kingdom of Dement with the Allen Empire.

Although not as grand as Starsteel City, Ryan's hometown, Windfall City still had its own charm with its busy narrow streets and tall buildings that seemed to jostle against each other.

However, Ryan's gaze quickly returned to the sky, where he noticed something strange. The clear sky above Windfall City, with white clouds rolling slowly across the blue expanse, was suddenly marred by a dark shadow moving slowly.

Ryan's heart raced as he looked closer, and suddenly, a giant eye ball appeared in the midst of that shadow, staring around Windfall City with a terrifying gaze.

Instinctively, Ryan took a few steps back, nearly losing his balance. Charlotte and Ellina, who were not far from Ryan, quickly approached him with worried expressions.

"What's wrong, Young Master Ryan?" Ellina asked anxiously, her eyes darting around for signs of danger.

Ryan, still shaken, pointed towards the sky. "What do you see in the sky from Windfall City?"

Ellina lifted her head, squinting her eyes as she observed the seemingly ordinary blue sky. "I don't see anything, sir. Just white clouds and blue sky."

However, Charlotte's expression was different. Her face turned serious, her brows furrowing sharply. Charlotte's usually calm eyes were now filled with confusion and uncertainty. "Is that the thing you mean, Master?" Charlotte asked, pointing in the same direction with a worried look.

Ryan looked at Charlotte intently, trying to gauge her reaction. "So... you can see that creature? Or that thing?"

"What do you mean, Young Master Ryan?" Ellina asked with a puzzled expression. Her eyes swept the clear sky above Windfall City, but she couldn't see anything unusual.

Ryan let out a soft huff, his gaze still fixed on the sky. "So, you can't see that thing, huh?" Ryan murmured seriously, his mind racing for answers.

Ryan tried to recall everything that had happened in the Kingdom of Dement, but nothing felt relevant. There had been some minor issues in the kingdom, according to what Ryan had read in the Novel, but none of them were related to the strange Eye Ball now hanging in the sky over Windfall City.

Suddenly, a cheerful voice broke the tense silence. "Hey! How are you all?" Rosseline appeared, stepping lightly towards them, a bright smile adorning her face.

Seeing the tense expressions on Ryan, Ellina, and Charlotte, Rosseline halted her steps. Confusion enveloped Rosseline as she noticed the three of them staring seriously at the sky. Rosseline looked outside, trying to figure out what was making them so anxious.

"What are you looking at? Why do you all look so serious?" Rosseline asked, her gaze following theirs towards the sky. However, nothing seemed interesting to Rosseline.
