Ryan suddenly broke the silence with an unexpected question. "What do you see in the sky over Windfall City?"
Rosseline was momentarily taken aback, but then she quickly shifted her gaze to the sky. At first, Rosseline saw nothing unusual, just the normal blue sky.
However, as time passed, Rosseline began to notice something—a faint shadow moving slowly among the clouds.
"What... what is that?" Rosseline asked, her voice now filled with concern. Her cheerful expression vanished, replaced by a sense of unease.
"Can you see that thing?" Ryan asked, his tone becoming more serious. Ryan stared at Rosseline with an intensity that made her feel a bit uncomfortable.
"Just a strange faint shadow... so, what is it really?" Rosseline replied, confused. She couldn't comprehend what she was seeing.
Ryan sighed softly, his eyes returning to the large eye hanging in the sky, like an entity watching every movement in Windfall City.
"I don't know... But what I see is a very strange Eye," Ryan murmured seriously, his voice almost a whisper, as if speaking to himself.
Rosseline shuddered, a feeling of dread beginning to creep inside her. "Is it... a big problem?" Rosseline asked nervously, her eyes searching for signs of danger in the unfriendly sky.
"No, it's not a problem," Ryan replied calmly, his expression remaining flat. "Besides, we won't be staying in Windfall City. Don't worry, our destination is the Kingdom of Polons."
After saying that, Ryan slowly walked toward the bed located in the corner of the room. The room was simple yet quite comfortable, situated inside the Magic Airship they were aboard.
The wooden walls creaked softly as the ship floated in the air, while a small window revealed the foggy sky outside. Ryan sat on the bed, feeling the silence of the room, accompanied only by the gentle vibrations from the ship's engine.
Ryan's thoughts began to drift, trying to recall events related to the giant eye hanging in the sky over Windfall City. However hard he tried, nothing came to his mind about the eye that was connected to the city. Ryan knew a lot about giant eyes from various readings in novels, but none specifically related to Windfall City.
However, one thing was clear: the eye in Windfall resembled one that Ryan had once known. Ryan began to dig into his memory, recalling three skills and magic that might explain this phenomenon.
The first was the God's Eye Search Skill. A very rare skill, possessed by only a handful of people, such as high-ranking priests or those born with special talents. This skill allows its user to conduct large-scale searches.
A giant eye would form in the sky, watching a vast area, capable of seeing very small creatures and objects from a distance. Ryan had heard of this skill being used in various search missions, but there was no concrete evidence that it was related to the situation in Windfall.
Then there was the Destruction Gaze Magic. A high-level magic that could only be mastered by those who controlled the elements of darkness and fire. This magic could create a giant eye with the power to destroy a city with just its gaze.
Darkness would envelop the city, and an extraordinary heat would burn everything to ashes. This sounded far more terrifying, and Ryan considered the possibility that the eye in Windfall City might be a sign of impending problems throughout the world.
