My name is Clara Livenson. I am a green-eyed brunette of the Earl Livenson family. My interest in magic is huge and since childhood I was very curious and often got into unpleasant and funny situations.
For example once I accidentally used magic to flood a garden that the servants had just planted with flowers. Or when I tried to escape through the window from the second floor, going down the tree that grew there, I got stuck among the branches and sat there until morning.
Simply put, I can't sit on my ass...
I've grown up and now I have to go and study at Satis Academy. I got here second among the first-years.
I've seen a lot of things in my sixteen years and nothing will surprise me now. Except for the new menu at the pastry shop at the academy. That's where I saw the new pomegranate cake. I couldn't resist, so I came here as soon as I was free.
"Hm-hm-hm... I'm finally going to try it."
At that moment, a man walked towards her and they crashed into each other.
- Ouch! What are you looking at?!
- Excuse me, I just wanted to check something out. I'm sorry, I just wanted to check some...thing...
When he turned his head toward the alley, I saw terror in his eyes. But when I looked, I saw nothing.
Suddenly he grabbed my arm and started running. At first I thought he was some kind of sick person, but when I started to look around I noticed that everything and everyone had frozen. I started to get anxious, and after standing like that for a few minutes. Then they started to move. At this point, this man started writhing with a headache. I helped him to the alley and put him on a crate. And when he raised his head and looked at me, I see that his eyes turned black.
And I started to get scared of him and I started to back away. And I said:
- "Your eyes. Oh-they've gone black.
And he stood up and looked at the mirror and the blackness from his eyes started to sort of leak out of his pupils. And it was something unusual. What was it? What was he seeing? I had a lot of questions.
We got to know each other's names, and then this Simon came along.
