"So, I've been wondering what Ascender incarnated upon you?"
Adrian asked as he turned towards Eric.
Eric ponders for a moment before replying.
"He's not too well known, but his name is Ethan Morden."
"Ethan Morden?"
Another feminine voice beside Adrian her gaze contracting as she looked at Eric suspiciously.
She was still cautious of Eric her gaze never leaving his small frame.
"Do you know him?"
Adrian asked.
"It's shocking you don't."
Her gaze suddenly locked onto something ahead.
"There's something ahead."
She said while readying her wooden staff.
Grrr!
Suddenly, three blue wolves jumped out from the bushes. All of them glaring directly at the petite girl.
Three small fireballs manifested behind her launching forward at the wolves not giving them a chance to attack.
Adrian slashed down on one of the wolves that was focused on the incoming magic.
"Adrian! Don't be so reckless!"
The girl shouted clearly irritated at Adrian's antics.
"Maria don't worry. It'll be alright."
Adrian reassured her while getting out of the way of Maria's magic.
Wind started gushing forward, the remaining wolf seeing it's brethren dead began charging up for an attack.
Wind began violently wrapping around it as it charged straight towards the unsuspecting Eric.
Instead of backing down Eric readied his fist adopting a simple combat stance.
A reddish aura wrapped around his body swirling around his fist.
"1st Art - The Martial Way."
He softly muttered while using the palm of his fist to strike down the incoming wolf.
His palm collided into the incoming wolf sending it crashing into a nearby tree.
Crash!!
"A unique energy?"

'Damn it's insane how he could do this with just illusion magic. That monster is a complete cheat.'
"Looks like I'm first place."
Aria confidently stated while looking over my shoulder. I turned my head towards her voice, her gaze focused on the small blue screen.
"Hah... looks like I need to catch up."
I replied while staring at her face still focused on the screen.
"I can't slow down either. I'm only 10 points away from losing my lead."
She said while turning towards me her beautiful violet eyes like tiny galaxies locked onto mine.
Even though our faces were right next to each other, we both didn't get flustered instead a determined glint flashed through both our eyes.
'Should I help them? It might affect the story, but I've already affected it. Eh, not like it'll have too big of an affect.'
I quickly turned away from her gaze looking over at the direction where the event would take place.
"Let's head over there."
I said while pointing towards the oddly specific direction.
"Farsight again?"
She said putting her hand on her hip while turning her attention towards the direction I was pointing at.
"Something like that."
I slowly got up from the hard rock I was currently resting on patting off any dirt I had accumulated.

'I have to hurry up.'
I gritted my teeth while channeling mana from the air.
"2nd Art - Illusionary Domain."
I softly muttered while a field of mana surrounded us creating a barrier between the rest of the examinees and the beast.
I looked back at Adrian and Eric fighting against the terrifying monster,
'I need to help them even more! I doubt I can use my 1st Art right now.'
Using mana; I quickly used the moisture in the air to form a small ball of water seeing how fire magic would be ineffective against it.

Adrian slashed down at the dragon preventing it from advancing towards Maria while she was preparing her illusionary domain.
Eric quickly backed him up once again the reddish aura clinged to his frame.
"1st Step - Never-ending March."
He kicked the beast directly in the face using Adrian as a step stool for his ascent in the air.
The beast looked down at them with contempt.
It was pissed.
The dragon opened its mouth, flames swirling around into a small ball.
It unleashed a flaming breath burning anything that stood in its way.
Including the ball of water that was launching towards it.
Adrian and Eric quickly moved on the way of the attack.
Adrian eyes widened; his gaze instantly snapped back with his blade in hand he readied himself.
Maria exhausted from erecting the barrier couldn't move out the way. She stood directly in the path of the flames.
"Help."
A soft melodious voice resonated through the air. It seemed oddly familiar.
Maria glowed in a green aura and...
disappeared.
Adrian looked around frantically for the source of the voice and the location of Maria.
A familiar white-haired boy with one of his eyes closed stood before them carrying the petite Maria in one of his hands. The other held a basic metal spear.
Beside him stood a tall beautiful young lady with a blood red spear gripped tightly in both her hands readying herself for combat.
"This seems like fun mind if we join in."
The tall lady said tightening her grip on the peculiar spear.
The most shocked by the incoming guest was the small white-haired girl nestled in the boy's arms.
"I set up an illusionary field... how did you get in?"
"Magic."
The boy smirked while looking down at the petite girl both his eyes were wide open. They were bright green and shone like beautiful jades being reflected in the sunlight.
Particularly his right eye that glowed brightly with a small steak of white running down his iris.
He once again closed his eye looking at the massive beast before him.
He gently placed down the petite girl and readied his spear alongside his female companion.
Both of them had confident smiles plastered on their face as they locked eyes with the beast.
