Chapter 18
We were managing to hold the Nightstalker off but everything changed when he took us so seriously by releasing a pure energy attack that didn't let us get close to the Nightstalker. Then he started throwing his invisible fists strike rapidly towards us. We thought our lives were gonna end there and then. Not until something or someone struck the Nightstalker so hard that he flew off so far back, although we couldn't see the stranger's face properly because of dust, his voice sounded familiar. Axel thought.
Finally the dusts settled and the alliance could finally see their saviour's face. Turning around to check if the alliance were okay was a young looking teenage vampire who stood around 6 foot 2 inches tall with his slick black hair and hazel green eyes. Was none other than Arthur.
The whole alliance:(surprised) Arthur!?!
"How, how did you survive? How are you still standing perfectly?" Sophia asked visibly surprised, shocked and confused.
"Exactly, we saw your condition earlier. How did you survive?" Zeph replied.
"I would have loved to answer all your questions but I still have a job to do." Arthur said smiling. (Visibly confused) where's Fex?
"He's badly injured and he's being taken away from the battlefield." Axel replied Arthur's question.
"you guys should also go back and leave the battlefield coz things are about to get pretty rough here." Arthur said.
"He's right. Let's leave. (To Arthur) you wimp, we are counting on you for the last time, don't disappoint us this time." Zeph replied.
"I don't plan on disappointing or losing this fight." Arthur said while smiling.
They all nod and gather their strength to leave the battlefield. Just then, the Nightstalker arrives.
"Dammit, what struck me so hard? If it's a human, I promise I will torture them so much that they will beg for death but I won't give it to them so easily. I will make them pay." The Nightstalker thought angrily.
The Nightstalker finally got to the battlefield and sees who struck him. He was shocked by what he saw.
"(visibly surprised and confused) You! How is this possible? You were already half dead not too long ago, now you're suddenly fine and standing alright. How's this possible? What is going on?" The Nightstalker asked out loud.
"you are shocked right? But there will still be many more surprises so I will advice you stay tuned." Arthur said confidently.
"(Hahaha) Do you think you can do anything to me? Have you forgotten I had beaten you twice. (Smirks) maybe a third beating will do the trick." The Nightstalker said.
"Let's see you try." Arthur replied smiling and standing confidently.
"Huh! Where's this confidence coming from? The Nightstalker asked confused about where Arthur's confidence was coming from. Who cares. I will just destroy the confidence along with your body."
