Chapter 3 - The Proficy of the Chosen ones

Eri carefully observed as Ken and Shoya underwent their quirk assessments, her expression taking on a solemn tone.

Eri: "Ken, Shoya, it seems your quirks are not as potent as expected. Ken, your explosion quirk is weaker than usual, and Shoya, your ice quirk lacks the expected strength."

Ken, somewhat disappointed, scratched his head.

Ken: "Weak explosion? Seriously? That's not cool."

Shoya, with a shrug, acknowledged the result.

Shoya: "Well, I guess my ice powers aren't that impressive after all."

The room's mood shifted when it was Toshinori's turn. Eri conducted the examination, but her conclusion brought a heavy silence.

Eri: "Toshinori, I'm sorry to say, but you appear to be quirkless."

Toshinori's eyes widened in disbelief, and a hush fell over the room. The weight of the revelation lingered, casting a shadow on the once cheerful atmosphere. The parents exchanged concerned glances, realizing that Toshinori faced a unique and challenging path ahead.

A heavy air settled in the room as the trio received the disheartening news about their quirks. Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya exchanged glances, finding solace in the support of their parents.

Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto, however, had a different perspective. Concerned for their sons' safety, they advised against pursuing the hero path.

Deku: "Toshinori, Ken, Shoya, it's too dangerous. You can't be heroes without strong quirks."

Bakugo: "Don't be stupid, Ken. This hero thing is not for everyone. It's not worth risking your life."

Shoto: "Shoya, I can't bear the thought of you facing unnecessary dangers. Find another path."

Despite their fathers' warnings, the trio, fueled by determination, declared their intent to become heroes and honor their family's legacy. The parents, overwhelmed with worry, couldn't suppress their fears.

In a moment of emotional turmoil, the fathers, with heavy hearts, uttered words they would come to regret.

Deku: "Toshinori, go away. A quirkless person can't be my son."

Bakugo: "Ken, you're just a disappointment. I don't want to see you again."

Shoto: "Shoya, I don't want a worthless son. Give up this dream or leave."

The trio stood shattered, their dreams and aspirations crushed by the very people they looked up to. As the fathers left the room, trying to hide the pain in their eyes, the weight of their words lingered, creating an irreparable rift between parents and sons.

At school, the trio found themselves subjected to taunts and bullying from their sisters and their friends. Despite being part of the same family, Izana chose not to participate, maintaining an air of indifference and often ignoring the teasing.

Izumi, alongside her friends, would mock Ken's weak explosion quirk.

Izumi: "Hey, Ken, can your quirk even light a match? Pathetic."

Shoya endured jabs about his feeble ice abilities from Shoka and her friends.

Shoka: "Shoya, your ice quirk is like a melted popsicle—useless."

Toshinori faced relentless remarks about being quirkless, with classmates echoing the sentiments of their sisters.

Classmate: "Toshinori, you're just a burden without a quirk. Why bother being here?"

Izana, though aware of the situation, kept his distance, as if he didn't care about his brothers' struggles.

Ken, frustrated, confronted Izana.

Ken: "Why don't you do something, Izana? They're your friends!"

Izana, maintaining his composed demeanor, replied nonchalantly.

Izana: "Why should I bother? It's not my problem."

The trio felt isolated, not just from their peers but also from their own family. The dynamics at school added an extra layer of complexity to their struggles, leaving them to navigate the challenging terrain of adolescence without the support they desperately needed.

In a distressing turn of events, the trio found themselves subjected to physical aggression at the hands of their sisters and their friends. The hallways echoed with taunts and laughter as the bullying escalated.

Izumi, with a malicious grin, confronted Ken.

Izumi: "Maybe a little beating will toughen you up, Ken."

Shoya, cornered by Shoka and her friends, felt the weight of their disdain.

Shoka's Friend: "Let's see if your weak ice can withstand a few punches, Shoya."

Toshinori, surrounded and outnumbered, faced a barrage of insults.

Classmate: "Quirkless loser! Maybe a beating will knock some sense into you."

The trio attempted to defend themselves, but the overwhelming force left them battered and bruised. Izana, witnessing the events unfold, continued to distance himself from the turmoil.

Ken, nursing his wounds, looked at Izana with frustration.

Ken: "Aren't they your friends? Can't you do something?"

Izana, with a cold detachment, retorted.

Izana: "They're not my concern. Deal with it."

The trio, both physically and emotionally wounded, felt a profound sense of isolation. The hallways, once a space for learning and camaraderie, now became a battleground where the trio faced not only the challenges of adolescence but the harsh reality of betrayal from those closest to them.

In a secluded corner of the school grounds, Toshinori found himself alone, unaware that a disheartening ambush awaited him. Izumi, Shoka, and Katsu approached with a sinister intent, their faces masked by a cruel determination.

Izumi sneered, circling Toshinori.

Izumi: "Look who we've got here. The quirkless burden of the family."

Shoka chimed in with a cold laugh.

Shoka: "It's about time someone put you in your place, Toshinori."

Katsu, cracking her knuckles, added to the menacing atmosphere.

Katsu: "You think you can be a hero without a quirk? Pathetic."

Caught off guard, Toshinori tried to reason with them.

Toshinori: "Come on, we're family. Why are you doing this?"

Izumi, unrelenting, shoved him.

Izumi: "Family? You're a disgrace. We're just teaching you a lesson."

The trio proceeded to unleash their aggression, leaving Toshinori defenseless and battered. The echoes of their harsh laughter reverberated in the desolate space, creating a haunting backdrop to Toshinori's solitary struggle. The pain, both physical and emotional, carved a deeper rift between the siblings, casting a shadow over the already strained family dynamics.

In another secluded part of the school grounds, Shoya and Ken found themselves isolated, unknowingly becoming targets of a cruel scheme. Izumi, Shoka, and Katsu approached with malicious intent, their expressions twisted with a dark determination.

Izumi smirked, eyeing Shoya and Ken.

Izumi: "Looks like the weak ice guy and the disappointment are hanging out together."

Shoka joined in, taunting them.

Shoka: "Let's see how tough you really are, Shoya."

Katsu, with a menacing grin, prepared to make his move.

Katsu: "Ken, your weak explosion won't save you this time."

Caught off guard, Shoya and Ken tried to reason with their assailants.

Shoya: "Why are you doing this? We're family!"

Ken, frustrated, added: "This is ridiculous. Can't we just get along?"

Izumi, Shoka, and Katsu, unmoved, closed in, ready to unleash their aggression. The echoes of laughter and the sounds of the ensuing scuffle painted a bleak picture, as Shoya and Ken faced the harsh reality of betrayal within their own family. The pain, both physical and emotional, deepened the wounds, leaving scars on the already strained relationships.

Unaware of the torment their sons were enduring at school, the trio's fathers, Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto, found themselves grappling with the weight of their own actions. Deep in thought, they pondered how to mend the growing rifts in their relationships.

Deku, troubled, spoke to Bakugo and Shoto.

Deku: "We need to talk to them, make things right. I can't stand seeing them like this."

Bakugo, though gruff, nodded in agreement.

Bakugo: "Yeah, we messed up. We gotta fix this before it gets worse."

Shoto, reflective, added: "Our pride got in the way. We need to apologize and support them."
