The police station was abuzz with activity as Commissioner Logan gathered Izuku, Ochaco, Bakugo, Camie, Shoto, and Momo into a private briefing room. The tension was palpable, each parent on edge as they awaited news about their missing children.
Commissioner Logan: "We've uncovered some critical information. It appears your sons were kidnapped by a faction of the League of Villains. We have reason to believe they were subjected to inhumane experiments."
The parents gasped, shock and horror spreading across their faces.
Izuku, his voice shaking: "Experiments? What kind of experiments?"
Commissioner Logan: "From what we've gathered, they were testing on them to create enhanced beings, or 'Subhumans,' as they called it. The experiments were excruciating and left them with no memories of their past."
Ochaco, tears streaming down her face: "Oh my God, Toshinori…"
Bakugo, fists clenched in anger: "Ken went through that? I should have been there. I should have protected him."
Camie, trying to hold back her own tears, placed a hand on Bakugo's arm: "We'll get him back, Katsuki. We'll make this right."
Shoto, a cold fury in his eyes: "Shoya doesn't deserve this. None of them do. What do we do now, Commissioner?"
Commissioner Logan: "We believe your sons escaped the facility and saved a group of children. Their whereabouts are currently unknown, but we have a lead. They've been spotted in the city, likely separated to avoid detection."
Momo, determined: "We need to find them. They've been through so much already."
Commissioner Logan: "We have teams searching for them, but it would help if you could use your networks and resources as well. We need to bring them back safely."
Izuku, resolute: "We'll do whatever it takes. We're not losing them again."
Three years had passed since the disappearance of Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya. Despite exhaustive searches and numerous leads, the parents had found no trace of their children. The pain of their absence was a constant shadow, but life continued, and it was now time for the next batch of students to take the entrance exams at U.A. High School.
Izuku, trying to focus, spoke to his friends: "It's incredible to see so many talented kids here. It reminds me of our time."
Ochaco, holding his hand tightly, replied: "Yes, but I can't help but wonder where Toshinori is. I hope he's safe, wherever he is."
Bakugo, his gaze intense as ever, added: "Ken Damn it, I miss him."
Camie, resting her head on Bakugo's shoulder, sighed: "We all do. But we have to keep believing they're out there, somewhere."
Shoto, his expression a mix of hope and determination, said: "Shoya was always so driven. I know he's fighting to come back to us. We just have to keep searching."
Momo, with a supportive smile, added: "And in the meantime, we can honor them by guiding these new students. Helping them become the heroes our sons would be proud of."
As the entrance exams began, the parents watched the young hopefuls with a mix of nostalgia and sadness. The trials and challenges of the day provided a temporary distraction from their sorrow, but the underlying ache of their children's absence never truly faded.
Izuku, turning to the others, said: "We'll find them. No matter how long it takes, we won't give up."
As they watched the entrance exams, the daughters observed with a mix of superiority and disinterest.
Katsu: "These weaklings won't make it. The only one with any potential is Kaori Satoru, and she's not even here yet."
Shoka: "Agreed. She'll join under recommendation like us. The rest of them don't stand a chance."
Izumi: "Izana doesn't care about this, but we know what's best."
Their parents, listening to their daughters' disdainful remarks, felt a pang of disappointment but held their tongues, hoping their daughters would eventually grow into better people.
Suddenly, on one of the screens, a boy who looked strikingly similar to Shoya appeared, catching everyone's attention. Shoto and Momo's eyes widened in shock.
Shoto: "Is that... Shoya?"
Momo: "It can't be, but... look at his power."
Shoka, watching in utter disbelief, saw the boy effortlessly crush robots with his quirk.
Shoya: "This is really boring."
He used Magnetism with such precision and power that it seemed like magic, demolishing the robots with ease. After accumulating enough points, he nonchalantly sat on a building, observing the others.
Shoto and Momo exchanged a look, realizing that Shoya didn't remember anything about them after his tormenting days.
Shoto: "It's him. He's become so strong, but he doesn't remember us."
Momo, her voice trembling: "What do we do?"
Bakugo, who had been watching as well, turned to Shoto with a determined expression.
Bakugo: "He's definitely stronger. But I'm sure, Icy... I mean, Shoto, you can find a way to bring his memory back. If we can convince Shoya to join us, we might be able to find Ken and Toshinori too."
Shoto, with a renewed sense of hope, nodded: "You're right. We can't give up on him. We'll find a way to bring him back and find the others."
As the parents continued to watch the entrance exams, Hitoshi Shinso, now an instructor at U.A., reviewed the applicants' paperwork. He noticed something unusual about the boy who had just displayed incredible power.
Shinso: "Hmm, this can't be right."
He held up the paper and addressed the gathered parents and teachers.
Shinso: "This student registered under the name '03.' It's quite odd. It looks like this was his name after he was experimented on."
The room fell silent, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Shoto and Momo exchanged a knowing glance, their hearts heavy with the realization of what their son had endured.
Shoto: "03... Shoya was called 03."
Momo, her eyes welling up with tears: "They stripped him of everything, even his name."
Izuku, Bakugo, and the others gathered around, each feeling the weight of the revelation.
Izuku: "If he's '03,' then there's a chance that Ken and Toshinori might also be using numbers instead of their names."
Bakugo: "We need to find out more. If we can figure out where they are and what they've been through, we can help them remember who they are."
Shinso nodded, his expression serious.
Shinso: "I'll dig deeper into this. We need to understand everything we can about these experiments and how to undo the damage."
Ochaco, her voice filled with determination: "We'll do whatever it takes to bring our boys back. They're stronger than this, and so are we."
As Shoya turned to leave, Bakugo's voice cut through the tense atmosphere.
Bakugo: "You were the one who destroyed the League of Villains headquarters three years ago, weren't you? And you weren't alone in that."
Shoya sighed heavily, his demeanor betraying a mix of resignation and defiance.
Shoya: "I expected you to figure that out. So, what now? Are you going to lock me up like those villains did three years ago, or do you plan to exploit my powers?"
He turned back to face them, removing his goggles to reveal his dark blue eyes, which shimmered with an intensity that startled everyone in the room. His eyes seemed to hold a depth of pain and power that was both captivating and unsettling.
Deku stepped forward, his voice gentle yet firm.
Deku: "No, 03. We don't want to imprison you. We just want to help you and your allies."
Shoya's expression softened slightly, surprised by Deku's response.
Shoya: "What's your motive for helping me, along with 01 and 02? Help isn't free, and I believe you all have your reasons."
The mention of the numbers '01' and '02' caught Shoto and Momo off guard, but they maintained their composure. They knew it would be too overwhelming for Shoya to remember anything about his past all at once.
