Chapter 4 - The Pain and the Suffering

On the other hand, Toshinori, Shoya, and Ken's mothers—Ochaco, Momo, and Camie—attempted to reach out to their children. However, every attempt at conversation met with resistance.

Ochaco, concerned, approached Toshinori.

Ochaco: "Sweetie, is everything okay? We need to talk about what's happening at school."

Toshinori, avoiding eye contact, mumbled: "I can handle it, Mom. Don't worry."

Momo, trying to connect with Shoya, expressed her worry.

Momo: "Shoya, we're here for you. Please, talk to us about what's going on."

Shoya, evading the conversation, replied vaguely: "It's nothing, Mom. I can handle it myself."

Camie, noticing Ken's reluctance, approached with care.

Camie: "Ken, babe, we want to help. Talk to us about what's bothering you at school."

Ken, defensive, brushed off the concern: "I don't need your help, Mom. I can handle it."

The parents, both mothers and fathers, faced the challenge of breaking through the walls their children had built. Little did they know the extent of the struggles their sons were enduring, and the crucial conversations that awaited them.

Sitting on a weathered bench, Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya shared a solemn moment, reflecting on the difficulties that had consumed the past two years of their lives. The weight of the constant bullying and familial discord had taken a toll, leaving them with a subdued acceptance of their seemingly bleak fate.

Toshinori, sighing, spoke up.

Toshinori: "I never thought it would be this hard. But maybe... maybe this is just how it's meant to be."

Ken, looking down, added with a hint of resignation.

Ken: "Yeah, I've tried to change things, but it never works. Maybe I'm just destined to be a disappointment."

Shoya, gazing into the distance, murmured his thoughts.

Shoya: "Sometimes, it feels like we're stuck, and there's no way out."

Unbeknownst to the trio, a sinister figure from the League of Villains observed them from the shadows. A wicked grin crept across the villain's face as he took in the scene.

League of Villains Member: "Perfect. Their despair will be a valuable asset."

In a chilling turn of events, the League of Villains member kidnapped Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya, delivering them into the ominous presence of their boss — none other than All For One himself. The trio, bewildered and terrified, demanded answers.

Toshinori: "Who are you? What do you want from us?"

All For One, sporting a sinister grin, revealed his malevolent intentions.

All For One: "You three are perfect candidates for creating Subhumans. A force that will bring chaos and destruction, especially to those top heroes."

Shoya, defiant, refused the dark proposition.

Shoya: "We won't be a part of your twisted plans. Let us go!"

Ignoring their pleas, All For One imprisoned them, subjecting the trio to unspeakable torture. Experimenting on their bodies, he pushed them to the limits of pain, the unbearable suffering etching agony into their every fiber.

Toshinori, gritting his teeth, cried out.

Toshinori: "Why are you doing this? What did we ever do to you?"

All For One, reveling in their anguish, chuckled malevolently.

All For One: "It's not about what you did. It's about what you can become for me."

As the torment continued, the trio's resilience waned, their bodies and spirits breaking under the relentless cruelty. The shadows of despair loomed large, as their once-hopeful lives spiraled into a nightmarish abyss under the influence of All For One's sinister machinations.

Worry etched on their faces, Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto became increasingly concerned as the trio failed to return home. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Deku took the initiative to call Shoto and Bakugo, hoping for any information about their missing sons.

Deku, anxiously on the phone with Shoto and Bakugo, inquired about Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya.

Deku: "Shoto, Bakugo, have you seen Toshinori, Ken, or Shoya? They haven't come home, and we're really worried."

Shoto, a hint of concern in his voice, responded.

Shoto: "No, Deku, I haven't seen them. Everything okay on your end?"

Bakugo, equally troubled, added.

Bakugo: "Yeah, same here. No sign of them. Something's not right."

Deku, a sense of urgency creeping in, urged them to keep an eye out.

Deku: "We need to find them. If you hear anything, let me know. We can't afford to lose them."

As the mothers, Ochaco, Momo, and Camie, sensed the prolonged absence of their sons, anxiety and worry clouded their expressions. Unable to shake off the growing unease, they gathered to share their concerns.

Ochaco, looking at Momo and Camie, voiced her worry.

Ochaco: "It's not like them to be out for so long without telling us. I'm really starting to get worried."

Momo, her usual composure faltering, added with concern.

Momo: "I've called and texted Shoya multiple times, but there's been no response. This isn't normal."

Camie, nervously pacing, shared the sentiment.

Camie: "Ken usually checks in, even if he's out with friends. This feels different, and I don't like it."

United in their concern, the mothers grappled with the unknown, their thoughts racing with various scenarios of what could have happened to Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya. The shadows of uncertainty loomed large, as they faced the agonizing wait for news about their beloved sons.

As the experiments continued, the trio endured unimaginable pain. Then, something strange happened. Toshinori's eyes turned black, Ken's dark yellow, and Shoya's dark blue. Their physical capabilities began to increase, but the agony was unbearable, and they couldn't remember their pasts.

Toshinori, gritting his teeth, noticed the new children being brought in for experiments.

Toshinori: "We can't let them go through this. We need to stop it now."

Ken, his eyes blazing, nodded in agreement.

Ken: "We've endured enough. Let's make sure they don't suffer like us."

Shoya, his determination clear, added.

Shoya: "Let's break out of here and end this nightmare."

With newfound strength, they broke free from their cages. The trio unleashed their fury on the villains, decimating everyone in their path.

Ken, fiercely: "No one else will suffer!"

Shoya, resolute: "This ends now!"

Toshinori, leading the way: "Let's get these kids to safety."

They gathered the children and made their escape, leaving behind the horrors of the lab and the shattered remains of their captors.

After rescuing the children, Toshinori, Ken, and Shoya dropped them near a police station. One of the kids looked up at them with gratitude.

Kid: "Thank you, all of you."

Toshinori, with a gentle smile, patted the kid's head.

Toshinori: "Take care of yourself from now on."

As they turned to leave, the three reflected on their situation.

Toshinori: "We've lost all our memories. I guess this was meant to happen, but at least we saved those kids."

Shoya, nodding in agreement: "You're right, 01. At least someone is safe."

Ken, looking ahead: "Since we're free, we should go our separate ways, 01 and 03. It'll help us avoid attention and keep ourselves trained."

Toshinori: "That's a great idea, 02. Let's stay sharp and protect ourselves."

With a sense of resolve, the trio parted ways, each heading into the unknown, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Toshinori: "We can't let anyone know what happened to us. We'll hide ourselves, and everyone will think we disappeared."

Ken, his dark yellow eyes reflecting determination, chimed in.

Ken: "Then, after three years, we show up at UA for the admission test with new identities. Stronger, wiser."

Shoya, his intense dark blue eyes gleaming with anticipation, nodded in agreement.

Shoya: "Let's split up for now, hone our abilities, and when the time comes, we'll be a force to be reckoned with."

With an unspoken understanding, the trio dispersed into the shadows, each embarking on a personal journey of growth and self-discovery. The city below them buzzed with life, unaware of the formidable force that now lay hidden, waiting for the opportune moment to reemerge.
