Chapter 6 - 6. Awakening 1

Ahmed found himself in a grassy field, his eyes staring at the azure sky, he sat up and firstly assessed his condition, everything seemed fine.

He then leapt to his feet and begun assessing his surroundings, he was in an open field, with the forest being about five kilometer away.

Behind him was Tall mountains whose heights pierced through the clouds, the mountains were much further away than the forest and so he chose to venture into the forest.

He equipped his weapon, Aldram which was in the form of a ring, he looked around for a bit and picked a stone with a sharp edge which he used to puncture his non dominant hand.

He dripped a few drops of his blood onto the ring and suddenly felt a static charge course through his veins before the ring vanished and etched it self on his index finger.

He felt the connection between himself and the ring and smiled, he never knew such a thing was possible!

He willed the ring to take form and turn into a bow, once he did however he realized a certain issue that he had overlooked, he didn't have a quiver nor arrows to shoot.

Just as he was about to loose himself in thought the runic sigils on his finger glowed as a pulse of silver spread throughout his body.

The silver light then gathered on his back forming a quiver full of arrows, he could then feel a stream of information entering his mind as the artifact finally acknowledged him as its owner.

"Hoo!" Ahmed's eyes widened as he reread the information that appeared within his mind, he hadn't thought that the voice would choose such a good weapon for him.

"This is good," he smiled as he expectantly rubbed his hands together while willing his defensive item to manifest.

"Shifter? The voice didn't mention this, is it like this to cater for my shifter weapon?" Ahmes rubbed his chin before pushing the matter to the back of his head, it wasn't worth the thought anyways.

He quickly stripped himself amd wore one of the looted combat suits from the Training facility before adorning the armor on top of it.

[Item Name: Combat suit.

'A life saving effect!'

Ahmed exclaimed inwardly, life saving effects were extremely rare to come by more so on low ranking items, for Ahmed this suit was akin to an extra life.

'Well it's more of around hundreds of extra life's but who's counting.' He grinned as he swore to himself to always loot any high ranking facility he entered.

Just as he was relishing in his boons however, he suddenly felt a stinging pain on his right hand, his middle finger glowed dimly before a runic design manifested and dimmed down.

The armor was a modest choice from Ahmed, a simple leather armor on tip with arm guards and shin guards along with a sword on his head.

From the moment he set foot on the Awakening Space Ahmed could feel his blood bubbling, and churning, he could distinctively feel his potential as if it were laid bare before his eyes.

He could feel an ethereal energy coursing through his veins that brought him a subtle sense of euphoria it was as if he had been reborn at the highest of highs.

He could feel it ever so slightly, the ethereal energy listening to his rampart thought despite how hard it tried to resist.

"The Sixth Realm." He said to himself as he instinctively knew his limits in cultivation, but that was only set in stone once he left the space something he couldn't do unless a full real time year passed.

After Awakening, the ascenders walk upon the gruesome path of cultivation as they yearn for higher realms in power.

The realms go from the First realm to the Ninth realm, there's also two sets of divisions within the said realm.

The First to Third Realm are had their own respective differentiation compared to other realms, whereas from the Fourth Realm onwards it is split into Tiers from 1 to 9.

"I'll make sure to raise it to the ninth." He resolved as he dashed towards the forest, within forests he was within his domain as a hunter.

He already had a sound plan in mind, a simple plan which didn't need some high level of intellect to come up with, the plan was to kill as many beasts as possible, gather as many natural treasures as possible.

This was ultimately what Awakening was about hoarding as much loot as one can inorder to raise their talents and potential for as far as possible, after all the more talented they were the higher the chances of them been accepted into the prestigious academies.
