The youths clashed again and again, the blonde haired boy was masterfully weaving his short swords in refined grace, he had to a keen eye been training his arts.
His opponent was also not to he underestimated, he could hold his own against the blonde boys onslaught despite only using a single sword.
Ahmed watching the clash continued to analyze the situation, the discrimination between the too wasn't anything new but it wouldn't be to the point where none would step back even if it cost their lives, more so on the younger generation.
'What is it?' he analyzed allowing his eyes to roam around, he couldn't see anything other than the dead bodies of kids his age, the corpses of the wolf pack and a cave nothing else.
'Wait! A Cave!' He looked back focusing on the cave entrance where most wolves had died.
It was then that he felt it, the subtle aura that made his body tremble im excitement and desire.
'A treasure! No wonder!' He finally deduced, if a treasure was at stake then that would explain the youths vigorous clash.
'Question is, is it worth the ire of Angelic and Demonic clans? Is it worth the risk?' he contemplated.
He was sure he could wait out their clash, once one fell he could subdue the other and claim the treasure but that was a risky plan, who was to say another party wouldn't join in the fray?
'But if I attack now, even if I take one down the other would be alerted despite their open hostility the enemy of my enemy is my friend.'
After playing and replaying various plans, Ahmed finally made up his mind and willed his armor, Darrah, to change form not before aiming his bow at the distance.
He had spotted another presence despite his own and that of the youth, he shot at the opponents shoulder, thigh and foot, he only counted on one of the shots to hit after all any normal person would flee with an injury instead of spectating a fight them may or may not be dragged into.
As per his deduction only one arrow hit, drilling into the targets foot, they held back a pained groan not wanting to give away their location, they then looked around wondering where the arrows came from.
After not being able to determine their assailant and not being targeted once more, they were smart enough to perceive the shot to be a warning, what shocked them more is when he arrow disappeared into thin air.
The spectator fled not daring to look back, Ahmed sighed at this as he finally begun to work on his already agreed plan.
It turned from it's former state into a sleek metal armor that covered him from head to toe, he went as far as changing it's color scheme, the armor now had a dark sheen like those of a dark knight.
He then willed his bow to turn into a pair of twin axes, satisfied with the change he leapt of the tree and landed before the cave, he had no intentions of hiding but he also had no intentions of killing the two, who knows what type of life saving items they had.
The fighting pair heard the thud of Ahmed's landing and swiftly made some distance between each other and the new party.
"Who are you!" The blonde haired boy shouted in a demanding tone.
Ahmed remained silent, his face might be hidden but his voice was an entirely different matter, he however knew that he had at some point have to talk to them.
'I didn't think this through.' He berated inwardly as he replied, whatever happened his future self would deal with it.
"That's none of your concern," he begun, what thief would openly declare themselves, "I have an offer for the two of you, I take the treasure and you two stay alive."
"Are you threatening me?" The Blonde youth frowned.
"Thanks for the offer but, many of my people have already died for that treasure, it would be a spit on their faces if I don't claim it." The dark haired youth replied calmly.
"I see, good luck then." Ahmed wished as he dashed into the cave, the two youths stared in daze as he vanished before them.
They then looked at each other silently before each spoke at the same time, "truce?"
"Only until we find the treasure." The Dark haired boy offered.
"Fine." The blonde youth conceded as they both dashed into the cave, failing to notice that there were no corpses on the ground, be they beast or man.
Ahmed sprinted into the Cave with vigor, the cave went underground for a full thirty minute run before finally widening into a large hall.
The Hall was nearly thirty meters high held up by several pillars, on the caves ceiling several glowing stalactites glowed dimly reflecting the sun light that was descending into the cave.
At the center of the hall was a hole that was connected to a clearing of sorts which allowed a pillar of light to descend into it.
Ahmed followed his body's craving excitement which led him to the other side of the hall, Infront of him was another cave only this one too narrow to walk or run into, it was however bent downwards.
Ahmed slid down, disappearing into the darkness, just as he jumped the pair entered the hall and looked around cautiously, just as they were about to make move however.
Grr.
They heard several growls echoing within the hall, from the sides of the hall were two caves on each respective side and from the entrances two new packs of wolves came out.
"Ahh fuck." The dark haired boy sighed, his senses weren't as exaggerated as Ahmed's he could feel his body's craving but not to the point where it would act as a compass, he therefore didn't know which way their target went towards after all the bastard was faster than them, in a good condition and without spent stamina.
'I should have accepted the offer, what does the faces of the dead have to do with the living.' He lamented as he engaged the wolves, it was also on this day that he came to loath wolf kind.
