Ahmed appeared in a white room of sorts, before him were several altars with various names on them.
After looking around for some few minutes Ahmed came to a dire conclusion.
"These are all Crafter paths, they want me to choose one!" He cursed after all he had no intentions of pursuing any crafting related path.
"I'm a warrior through amd through, if I ever and I mean ever deviate then it'll be on something like magic! I know myself well enough to ascertain crafting isn't for me!" He shouted into the open space hoping for a being similar to Calypso to appear.
[Noted, test will be shifted from Crafting path to Magic paths.] The voice replied.
Ahmed wanted to curse but held his tongue, the creator of the trial wasn't a fool to designate the crafting path, he might not like it but he had to accept the alternative given to him.
[Please place your hand on the crystal orb to determine your affinities.] The voice ordered.
Ahmed walked forward and placed his hand onto the orb and waited in silence, he didn't know what was going on so he didn't question it.
[The participant Ahmed Reeves has No affinity towards the following elements:
Fire, Water, Earth, Air.(Common.)
Frost, Lightning, Metal, Blood, Shadow. (Uncommon.)
Sound, Gravity, Wood, Posion.(Rare.)
Light, Dark, Illusion, Seal.(Epic.)
Summoning Dream, Blessing, Curse.(Legendary.)
Life, Death.(Mythical.)
Fate, Karma, Destiny. (Celestial.)
Chaos, Order.(Primordial.)
The Participant however has an affinity towards:
Soul(mythical) and mana(Primordial.)]
The voice complied, at first Ahmed's face deflated since he assumed he had assumed he possessed no affinity whatsoever, this was however not the case since he had two high grade affinities.
"Doesn't everyone have an affinity towards mana? Does that mean everyone has a Primordial grade affinity towards it?" He asked confused by the said affinity.
[Mana is ever existing, ever present, it cannot be destroyed and mearly changes form. What most beings are is attuned to mana, very few actually have an affinity towards it, do not mistaken attunement for affinity.] The voice explained.
"I sort of understand, it's like saying everyone can use water but not everyone has an affinity towards it right?"
[Yes, that's right. Now that your affinities have been determined do you wish to proceed with the trial?]
"Please do."
The white room suddenly changed, it turned into a wooden floored room with a stone ceiling no windows and plain brown walls.
On the floors, walls and ceiling were an extremely complicated array of runes that made Ahmeds head spin.
[Gain a 5% understanding in both your elements.]
Was all he got from the voice before the room was flooded with extremely pite waves of mana, he could feel his body shaking in ecstasy and his soul was actually tingling.
"Soul? Since when could I feel my soul?!" He exclaimed in shock, he was however met with silence forcing him to search for his own answers.

Mazel cursed under his breath as he closed the door behind him, he was extremely wounded with a dagger sticking against his abdomen which he didn't dare pull out lest he worsen it.
"Those despicable pigeons call themselves holy despite how vile they are!" He banged his fist against the stone bridge still seated against the door.
Hozier, the blonde haired youth, and Mazel had been fighting against the wolves with excellent coordination and cooperation, just as they won and Mazel relaxed his guard, the vile angel-kin stabbed a daggee through his gut.
Hozier kicked the angel away and made some distance between them assessing his condition his eyes were livid.
"Finally, I can now ascertain that I've killed a high ranking demon spawn." Hozier laughed menacingly.
"I should have known, what else was I to expect from you pigeon spawns!" Mazel spat as he backed away once more.
Despite both of them having just awakened, they were perceptive to mana mostly because of their ancestry.
He had felt a churn of mana in Hozier's direction and made the gao between them wider, but his heart had yet to calm and his instincts were flaring at him.
He therefore swallowed his pride and did something he never thought he would ever do in his life, he ran away from a fight with an angel-kin.
"Yeah right run, otherwise killing you won't be as satisfying as it's supposed to be!" Hozier laughed as he let his injured prey to flee.
Mazel run through the meandering tunnels, crawled within them jumped over meter long gaps to make as much distance as possible, he had no idea where he was headed but knew it would prolong his life even by a day.
He however at some point failed to notice the loose ground before him and fell into a pit of sorts, the pit futher increased his injuries since the fall rattle his internal organs.
He grit his teeth and climbed out the pit, amd continued crawling until he came across a brone gate with rune like etching, he didn't bother to read the runes as he opened the door and sealed it shut behind him.
After a few minutes of rest Mazel used the sides of the bridge to support himself as he rose, he then limped towards the island hoping to find something anything to heal himself.
'If, No when I survive I'll make sure to kill that bastard, if I don't kill him while within this realm then I'm truly a disgrace to the Azazel Clan.' He swore as he limped closer and closer to the island.
Once he stepped foot on the island however he cried for the first time in a long time, why? Well that was because...
[You have discovered Island 847.
Realm has been determined, Awakening realm trial shall be issued.
Prepare yourself for the trial.]
[Passing Condition: Advance to the next level.]
Calypso whispered in a neutral tone.
Mazel wiped off his tears as he run towards the forest, he didn't know what the trial was but, the rumbling already gave him an idea.
The distance was quite far for him to make it in time, by his good luck however there was a small opening beneath one of the nearest large tree below it's roots.
He jumped into it as he held back his tears ans silenced himself hoping that the beasts wouldn't find them, if they did he would be as good as dead.
