I fell. Faster than an extremely heavy bowling ball. Faster than the heaviest thing ever. Whatever that was, I was falling faster than it. I had just gotten sucked into that crystal and then I was back where I first started...in that black void. I didn't see any shadows this time but all that happened was that I fell. Maybe I was going home? Maybe I was going to get some answers on how to get home. Maybe it was that easy? I quickly dismissed these ridiculous thoughts as I came to another revelation. "Nothing's that easy." Life was never that easy before I met my very best friends and nothing was going to change, not even in...whatever you call this place. I then saw what looked like a grayish hole in this void and before I could stop myself, I fell into the hole. I closed my eyes just like last time and when I opened them, I was falling from the sky, yet again. Was this going to be a common thing?" I had no idea about that but what I can say is that it still wasn't fun. There weren't any hover cars in the air this time and I was thankful for that but even then, it barely changed anything. As I continued to fall at a very fast pace, I noticed that the land below me was different, very different. There weren't any tall buildings around and there wasn't anything from a futuristic movie here like hover cars, hoverboards, or anything. Come to think of it, futuristic movies love to make things with the word "hover" a lot. Now as I tried to slow down my fall with utterly failed, I noticed that there wasn't anything down on the ground to stop my legs from breaking and I didn't want that to happen, however, I crash landed to the ground with a loud crashing sound. "Ugh...my...everything." I said to myself as I was extremely dizzy, but not injured. My head felt like it just was hit with a frying pan like in those cartoons but I felt somewhat ok overall. I checked the rest of my body and it felt alright, even my legs which were not broken this time. I'm guessing that Ren's regulators helped me resist falls from the sky and I'm extremely grateful that they worked. "Now where am I?" I asked myself as I looked around. I had landed on some pretty tall grass in what appeared to be a field. So far from what I saw, this place looked nothing like the last doomed world as the sky was bright blue, there was grass here as well as trees and bushes and there were people in a pretty good mood. So far, I was happy that this place wasn't Adam's cursed world so that was a start. I got up and headed out of the tall grass as I looked around to yet again, find a familiar face. I didn't see anyone I could recognize yet but I figured I would at some point. So far, this place looked like a small town with the houses looking a little different. They looked like they were in the 60s with smaller houses and tackey colors covering the outside, and that's when I noticed something odd. I saw a couple of pedestrians out and about when I took a closer look at their overall appearance. Some of them had leather jackets on and some had more outdated ish looks that I couldn't describe. "Woah looks like fashion went back 60 years." I said to myself as I thought of something. I took a look at myself to see that my outfit choice matched theirs almost exactly. I had a leather jacket on with my regulators blending into the jacket and my pants had turned into jeans with a brown belt and I was wearing shoes that my grandfather would have worn. "Ahh, I look like them!" I exclaimed as I then found a few bushes to hide behind. "Oh man...oh man...I look just like one of them greasers! How on earth did this happen!" I panicked to myself. Normally, I couldn't care less about my outfits and styles these days. I could show up to a very formal event wearing pajamas and I wouldn't care if I got stares. This time, however, I looked so much like a rebel even though I wasn't one. "Ok..keep calm Austin. You'll figure this out! You just need to find a way to get back to the 2020 fashion sense and find a way out of here." I said to myself as I got out of the bush and continued to walk down the road. I had no sense of direction in this strange new time but I was determined to find a way out of here. I don't know just how long I was walking since I was so distracted by the looks of everything and just how different this time was but I walked for long enough to find myself near some sort of restaurant in a little city. Since I wanted to find a familiar face again and this seemed like the perfect place to do it, I headed inside and I was stunned. This restaurant was extremely big in space, topped out with colorful lights from the top of the walls, but it also had a huge dance floor. Not to brag but I just happened to be pretty good with breaking down and dancing and with a few people already on the floor, I wasted no time getting out there and busting some moves. I was busting out moves like raising the roof, Brooklyn, and not to mention, the very famous chicken dance. I could hear some people clapping as I continued to bust the move. Maybe I was wrong about being worried in this place and time. So far, the '60s was very enjoyable for me. After all, who could say no to busting moves for the crowds, it's why they're even here at all. Afterward, when I finally got tired from dancing for hours, I left the floor and found a little surviving area that looked like a bar. I went up to it and took a seat just when a waitress approached me. "Hello sugar cube, welcome to the Disco Fever, what can I get you started on?" The waitress asked me in a very friendly voice. "I'll take a water please." I said, not looking up as I noticed one of my shoes was untied. The waitress left as I double-knotted my shoe right when she brought me a glass of water. "Now are you ready to order sugarcube?" The waitress asked as I looked up at her. "I'll just take a hamburger." I said. "Coming right up!" The waitress said as I sat there, trying to find a face I knew, or better yet, another piece of the crystal. I knew that it had to be around here somewhere...I just didn't know where. Just then, as I sat there, trying to piece together something of a plan to find a crystal piece, the doors to this restaurant flew open like a Western movie. Everyone stopped. The music stopped. People stopped dancing to look at the front doors as a whole bunch of people entered the restaurant. "Table for ten please."
