"Au....Aust........Austin! You....ha.....ve.....to...keeeeppppppppp....mmmooooooooo...vvvv...iii...nnn...gggg.." I heard a voice say. It sounded like they had a very bad connection as the voice was quiet and then loud for a few seconds. I looked around this void but I heard no one nor saw anyone. I was still holding the crystal in my hand as I somehow still managed to hold onto it. I didn't know what I needed to do with it but it was good to have it for now, at least I think. From the looks of it, I was back in the void from where I entered that 60's place. I was able to get a better look at this place as the crystal was very bright, allowing me to see more clearly. This void was gray all around with sharp rocks floating around like we were in zero gravity. It was cool but I knew that I couldn't stay here. Crystal's were elsewhere and that was my main objective right now. I then felt like I was falling again, turns out I was as another portal became closer and closer before I got sucked into it yet again. It seemed like going into portals was going to be common on this universal quest. I started to get sucked into the portal and I fell. To skip a boring falling scene, I landed on the concrete ground as everything hurt. My regulators helped my crash landing just like last time and I lifted myself off the ground to find myself in yet another new world. From my first look at this place, it looked peaceful. It almost looked like home, when it wasn't getting attacked by some evil villain that is. I took a look at myself, hoping that my outfit would give a hint as to where I was in this multiverse. I had another open jacket on but it didn't look like a leather jacket, I had a very shiny and most likely expensive watch on my left wrist, I had black shorts on that were very comfortable to wear and to top it off, I had blue shoes with some stripes on them. I looked very clean indeed but it still wasn't a very useful clue as to where the heck I was. "Well, I better get looking for another crystal." I said as I realized that I wasn't holding my crystal piece, thankfully, it landed pretty close to me with only a few feet between me. I picked it up and started to walk around. "Man, if a villain was here, I couldn't tell these place and my home apart." I said to myself as I looked around some more. It was just a very small and quiet neighborhood in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. There were no buildings in the very far distance, there were no mountains and there was no sign of anything in the very far distance. Wherever I was, it was a very deserted place. After a long while of walking about, I saw an entrance into this town with a sign that got me excited. The sign read: "Welcome to Downtown Jokes-town in the middle of nowhere, far from any kind of town in 100 miles!" "A town with the word 'jokes' in it? Now this has to be a really good place to be!" I said in a really happy voice as I held onto my crystal piece and walked past the sign and into the town. Now I can say that I was expecting a very vibrant and happy town. This place was called "Jokes-town" for a reason after all so I expected the town to live up to that. It may have just been a few seconds but what I saw lived up to my expectations for sure. This place was like a dream come true for a new place to live. The grass was greener than broccoli, the trees looked so meticulous and looked like trees in a toy set, the houses were very big and colorful which was helpful since no two houses looked the same, and the streets looked like they had been paved recently since they were so clean and I could even smell the pavement and to top it off, this place was enormous. No wonder it took me a while to find the entrance to this beautiful place. "My, my! This place is a dream world!" I said out loud in a very happy voice. Just then, as I was looking around this spectacular town, I wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped into someone as we fell to the ground. "Oh, sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I said with a little bit of panic in my voice as I looked at the person I had just run into. "It's fine. Say, I don't think I've seen you here before." The person said as I then froze. It wasn't another variant of one of my friends I'm sure but something else happened. So if you don't know, Cyrus has a girlfriend, Dez likes London and Xander has a thing for Penny. Sometimes when we hang out, Dez would tell me about his feelings for London and the same general thing with Xander. I tried to show some interest but in the end, I never understood it. I never understood the concept of romance. I thought it was lame, overused, and just annoying. Even though it never happened to me and I doubt it would happen, I feared that Dez and Xander would drift away if they started to date London and Penny. I know it's a bit on the nose and maybe even childish but I just had these feelings. I don't know if I was just feeling alone while they weren't or I just never went through those events or what but in this moment, I understood everything. I understood why Dez and Xander talked about their crushes so much, I understood why there are so many romantic pieces of garbage, I understood why love is so powerful...I had experienced this event for the first time. The girl that I had just run into was beautiful. She had black hair, glasses that only a nerd would wear, a black jacket, and was wearing pinkish shoes, the prime example of true beauty. "Hi....I'm Austin." I said as staring into her eyes took me on a tour of cloud nine. "Hi...I'm London Gravley."
