Chapter 8 - The Brute Bikers

"What do you bikers want?" A person in the crowd asked in an annoyed voice. "So you didn't get the message? We bikers want this restaurant to ourselves!" A person wearing a black leather jacket a dark brown belt, was wearing light blue jeans and brown shoes as he along with nine other people with the same general outfit. It looked indistinguishable from the outfit that I was wearing which started to freak me out. I didn't want to be matched with ten other people! Let alone one other person. "You know that you don't own this place ya loser! Now scram!" The same biker said as no one in this restaurant was backing down. "Oh yeah? If you're not going to let us in, then why did you let one of us in?" The biker said as he then pointed towards a very panicked, very nervous, and very confused me. "Because he didn't act like he owned the place, just the dance floor!" The person said as I just stood there. I wasn't exactly thrilled that I was getting roped into this debate but I was at least a little interested in how it was going to play out. "Fine, you losers! We will be back but this time, with our main member!" The biker said as he along with his gang started to exit the restaurant. I then took a sigh of relief as the waitress then came over with my hamburger. I was about to take a bite out of it when I heard a voice say: "You're coming back as well, new kid!" The biker from before said as I sort of had no choice but to go with him and his gang. I want to say I was surprised at the very most. It's not that often that things like this happen but for me, it wasn't. I know I've said it before but ever since I met Cyrus and Dez, my life was never the same. Things like this became all so natural even though this was in another world and another time. As I and that biker kid were leaving the restaurant, I noticed that there were a whole bunch of motorcycles on the sidewalk. They each looked identical with a black and gray paint style. "Get on your cycle kid." The biker said to me as I just stood there. "I...I kinda don't have a bike." I responded very quietly. "Just steal one and meet us back at base." The biker said as he got on his motorcycle and drove away. I regret this part so much but since I didn't have much of a choice and since I knew that sooner or later, I would get roped into this group and maybe that could help me get out of here, I saw a motorcycle conveniently placed farther along the curb. I hopped on it, figured out how it worked and I then drove off to catch up with the rest of the bikers. Thankfully, the ride was pretty peaceful as I followed the bikers to this junkyard area where they parked their bikes and I did the same. I then looked around and felt a little odd. I checked my regulators and they were lighting up again, just like in Adamento. "Yes!! A crystal piece is nearby!!" I thought to myself as me and the bikers headed inside the junkyard. "Welcome to New Junkure, our headquarters till we get that restaurant all to ourselves." The biker said as I looked around. I want to say something good about it but it was just a regular junkyard, nothing more to that. Just then, I saw a couple of bikers that were not at the restaurant earlier but they seemed to be recycling some of the junk and turning it into something that I couldn't put my finger on. "Those are the makers, they use the junk that's thrown into here and use it to our advantage here and there." The biker said as he then showed me where everyone else was gathering. "Where is everyone going?" I asked. "To plan our next move. You will want to be a part of this." The biker said as we then headed to a very broken down table where a bunch of bikers were talking about something when that other biker took a seat. "So, got any ideas on how we can take that restaurant, newbie?" Another biker asked me. "Uh...we...." I was about to say something when someone interrupted me. "He's a newbie! What ideas does he have?" A voice said as I looked over and froze. "Cyrus?" I asked in a surprised voice. He then proceeded to slap me across my face with his left hand so hard that it was enough to knock me out of my seat. "Oh, I wasn't aware you didn't know my name. Can someone tell this newbie my name?" This world's Cyrus asked as no one said anything. "The name's One-Slap Cy newbie! Don't call me that name!" Cy said as he then took a seat in the chair I was in while I was still on the floor. I then got up after a few seconds and found another seat as the bikers talked about their plan to get the restaurant to themselves. I tried to listen to the conversation for a while but I just couldn't do it as I started to zone off until something caught my eye. "One-Shot Cy! I found something interesting!" A biker said as he rushed to the broken table. "Where?" Cy asked. "Right there!" The biker said as he pointed to a certain pile of junk. "Keep talking about the plan, I'll look at it." Cy said as he followed the biker. "Could that be?" I thought to myself as I turned out to be right. A few minutes later, Cy came out holding another piece of the crystal in his hand. "I have no idea what this thing is but I have a feeling it's going to be useful." Cy said just as I stood up. "Uh...I...I kinda need that." I said out of the blue while everyone else looked at me and laughed. "What...What do you want with this shiny rock?" Cy asked me while he continued to laugh. "It's....it's....uh...a family possession." I said. "Well, I'll tell you something newbie, you help us win the Disco Fever, the rock is all yours to keep." Cy said. "........Deal." I responded as I shook his right hand, not knowing what I had agreed to.
