Chapter 1 - Unfortunate Meetings.

Four misfits are found in a dark locker room, they sit around a basket of clothes like its fire. As they ponder there quietly a man walks into the room. He's an average looking man with a black and white striped shirt.

"Alright boys imma explain the rules quickly. No killing, have fun. This may be an amateurish match but I expect pro benders to be held to a good degree. Now get into your team and get on the stage."

An air and earth bender match up while a fire and water do the same. The separate duos split apart and move to their separate rooms. As the duos stand on their platforms they wait there and talk to each other. The air bender introduced himself first.

"The name's Damien, good to meet you."

Of course the the earth bender was quick to reply, "Yooo, names Terrence."

In the other room the fire bender spoke up first. With a somewhat serious demeanor, "I'm gonna be honest with you, I know we're probably never gonna talk to each other again so don't get buddy buddy with me. On another note, Michael."

The water bender in a very confused manner, "Uhh, ok my name's Ramone, but call me Ramen."

After the duos get to introduce each other the platforms under them begin to rise up leading them up into an arena of sorts. As the four look around they see the half filled seats and a different man in the center of the arena.

"Alright folks, give a warm applause for our benders today." The announcer began to clap and a few of the spectators followed. Clearing his throat he took his top hat off and began to announce.

"On this spectacular Monday we've got four of our finest benders going at it in a 2v2 match to capture the flag." Behind the duos a blue and red flag come from the ground respectively. The announcer with a circus-like behavior jumped up to a balcony to the side of the arena with fire propelling him upwards.

"The game is pretty simple isn't it, a team has to simply steal the opponents flag and bring it back to their area. But be careful if your flag isn't there as well you don't win, if there's an enemy waiting for you, you don't win. You gotta have both flags on your side with no enemies contesting you. If you can do that guess what, YOU WIN!!!" with almost maniacal laughter a flare like fireball was shot into the air.

As the ball of fire shot from the referee from before popped its residue began to fall announcing the start of the match.

Terrance huddled with Damien and began to conjure up a strategy. "Ok Damien imma be very honest, I fight like a rhino, run in and fight. Imma need you to stay back and defend, ok?" Damien replied with a nod and stood up to make a sphere around him and the flag while Terrance ran forward.

On the other side Ramen pulled Michael in and also began plotting. "Look the earthbender looked like a numb skull and is probably gonna run in here, my water bending counters him and you counter that air bender. Can you just run in and steal the flag?" Michael responded quickly, "of course I can, you better defend real good."

Michael then dashed away while Ramen sat down conserving as much energy as possible. Before anything really began the four contestants observed their arena. It looks like the size of a football field except with two long walls of rock splitting the field into three entrances.

If one were able to have a birds eye view you can place Michael and Ramen on the left being the red team while Terrence and Damien on the right being the Blue team. From top to bottom entrances, 1,2, and 3.

First to make a move was Michael dashing straight in the middle, Second was Terrance going through the third entrance, Third was ramen still sitting and Last was Damien who didn't listen to Terrences plan who started running towards the first entrance leaving the Blue flag open for the taking.

Michael began to think about what to do to win, he began to get a little frustrated by the odd feeling of remembering nothing. With this slight anger building in him his feet began to light on fire, every step he took was a small explosion pushing him forward making him faster. While Terrance was first to move Michael's boost of speed allowed him to surpass Terrance in terms of progress.

Damien, who felt a little worried, pushed a gust of wind through the middle just in case someone would come from there. With this gust of wind anyone in the middle would have their vision blocked. Damien began to run into the first entrance, with a bit of worry he began to constantly pushing wind behind him in fear of being attacked from the back.

Michael, who was the fastest, approached the exit but was met with a swirl of dust blocking his vision. With a bit of attitude he jumped on the side of the wall, then pushed himself to the other wall then jumped back and forth until he could completely jump over the dust. As he landed on the ground he prepared himself for a fight.

Michael was met with an unguarded blue flag. With no hesitation he ran forward and stole the flag. Then he turned around and ran straight back through the middle.

While Damien was constantly pushing wind up to keep the path dusty he then heard a voice, "OOOO MICHAEL HAS STOLEN THE FLAG AND RAN RIGHT BACK THROUGH THE MIDDLE!!!"

Overhearing the announcer he looked to the top of the wall and saw a few boulders, with a good bit of strength he pushed the boulders over to the other side. Then he proceeded to keep pushing wind behind him to keep the dust up while moving forward.

While all this was going on Terrance finally made it out through the Third entrance. With his appearance Ramen stood up, took out a ball of Ice he was given before the match began and prepared to fight. Terrance and Ramen glared at one another. Terrance put his hands to the floor, like a handshake the ground began to wrap around his hand making gauntlets of earth.

Michael was happily dashing through the middle path with no worry, but all of a sudden a small rock fell to his side. As he looked upward a large boulder was coming straight for him. With all the instincts he had his body jumped forward evading the large boulder. After getting up he noticed himself getting dizzy from the overuse of his bending so he started running but without using his bending to conserve energy.

Terence with his fists in front of him, he ran forward to danger. Ramen responded by making a small tidal wave to push him away using the water system below. The wave came rushing down onto Terrance pushing him to the floor, with resilience Terrance jumped right back up.

With a slight change of approach, Terrance threw an arm sized boulder at Ramen. Ramen pushed up a shield of water attempting to block the boulder. In a bit of surprise the boulder smashed through the shield slamming into Ramen.

"Fuck."

While gaining his posture back up he noticed he left his flag open, all of a sudden Terrance ran towards the flag ripping it out the floor. Ramen in a hasty maneuver used a bit of water whipping it at Terrance's leg dragging him back.

While this commotion was stirring up Michael finally made it out of the middle path. He saw Ramen and Terrance struggling for the flag so he dashed in. Damien finally making it out of the path began to be very woozy, due to being like this he made a small attempt to stop Michael by throwing the shot of air.

As he hit Michael in the back, he whipped around to see Damien standing there doing nothing. With a bit of confusion Michael got up and ran towards Ramen to help.

Ramen after yanking Terrance back, walked up to him. Terrance then pulled some of the earthy ground to cover Ramens face. As this earth was covering Ramens face, making him practically blind he began to feel around.

Able to feel out Terrance's legs, Ramen stood up holding Terrance's legs in a somewhat missionary position. Terrance of course fighting back, kicking around in all sorts. Slowly Ramen raised his foot upwards. Fear fell into Terrance's face, Michael nearby also seeing this fear in his eyes.

Ramens foot slammed down, right, onto his nuts. Every man in the area who saw this cupped their sacks in fear. Terrance writhing in pain let go of the flag. Michael throws Terrance to the side and holds both flags at their home point.

"AAANDDD WE HAVE A WINNNNNNEERRRR!!!!!"

The announcer jumping off the balcony in a very flamboyant manner in front of Michael and Ramen held up their hands and patted them on their backs.

He whispers, "Good job boys."

After a while of clearing up the area the group was sent back to their locker room. In the end they are still just misfits sitting around a bonfire of clothes. Terrance spoke up, "why the fuck did you slam my NUTS?!?" Ramen with his hands held up, "look, you weren't letting go, I wanted to win."

After a short while someone walks in, with shaggy brown hidden under a fedora a young looking man walks in front of everyone. The man with a cane and a very nice black suit spoke, "Alright, you guys did fine today, here are your winnings." The man then threw a small stack of money at each of them.

"I'll contact you if I need another job."

Then the oddly handsome man walked away but before he did a smile rose on his face. He came back with an envelope and placed it on the floor. He closed the door behind him and left.

The group sat there in a moment of silence. "So who's gonna pick it up?" Everyone looked at Ramen for his remark, "I'm just saying we can't just leave it there." Damien then got up, picked the envelope from the floor then read it outload.

"If you are reading this envelope you have been fully contracted into the Water Lily Association. If the boss needs you for a mission you will be given an envelope in your mail. As of now you four are to live together, you will be staying 104 Brights Dr in room 334. That is all."

The envelope then turns into ashes. Ramen with a smirk nudges Michael, "what was that about not ever talking to each other again?" Michael palms his face, gets up and walks out, with a bit of smirks from everyone's face as they follow Michael seeing high hopes for a great adventure.
