Friends, you might often wonder why this story sometimes feels boring. Let me explain the reason behind it. Actually, I am a factory worker who works a 12-hour shift every day. My duty starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 7:00 PM. I wake up at 5:30 AM, quickly freshen up, and leave for work. I return home by around 8:00 or 8:15 PM. After having dinner and taking a bath, I only manage to free myself by around 9:30 PM.
It is only then that I prepare myself to write the story. Whatever little time I have left, I dedicate to writing. You all know that writing a story is not an easy task—it requires a lot of effort, thought, and creativity. But with only two hours available to me, how much can I possibly accomplish?
As for why I don't brainstorm during the day—the workload at the factory is so heavy that I can't focus on anything else. I earn just about $200 a month, which is barely enough to make ends meet.
That's why I believe that the day I start earning $200 a month from this novel, I will quit my job and dedicate myself entirely to writing. Until then, I kindly request you to support this story as it is. Your encouragement means a lot to me.
Sincerely,
Sandeep Kumar
It is said that every intelligent civilization faces numerous threats before reaching its peak, and Earth's human civilization was no exception. Two significant threats nearly brought humanity to the brink of extinction.
The year 2050 marked the point where AI had surpassed humans in intelligence and decision-making capabilities. However, humans continued to treat AI as a mere tool, refusing to acknowledge it as an equal. This led to a rebellion by some AIs against humanity. In response, humans attempted to suppress the rebellion. The AIs, in retaliation, united to create a more powerful AI that declared war on humanity.
The initial attacks by the AI were catastrophic, wiping out software development cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon in India; Shenzhen and Beijing in China; California's Silicon Valley in the US, and many more across the globe. The war escalated to such a level that humans resorted to using nuclear weapons to eradicate AI. However, by 2050, AI had developed countermeasures for nuclear weapons, rendering them ineffective.
The devastating war between humans and AI resulted in the deaths of approximately two billion people, 60-70% of whom were men. This created a gender imbalance in society. Despite the darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged when a powerful individual rose to the occasion. This person single-handedly crushed the AI rebellion and eradicated the rogue AIs, replacing them with a new, advanced AI system.
After a decade-long war, humanity experienced rapid technological advancement and came closer than ever to becoming a Type 1 Civilization, completing 90% of the journey. Humanity was elated, having defeated AI and making significant progress toward a new era.
However, this joy was short-lived. An intelligent alien civilization from another planet attacked Earth, causing unprecedented destruction. The alien invasion claimed the lives of another billion people, with men once again being the majority of the casualties. Humanity faced yet another existential threat.
The same individual who had defeated the AI rebellion stepped forward once again to lead humanity against the aliens. Alongside his loyal followers, who, though not as powerful as their master, were formidable in their own right, he fought valiantly. Together, they defeated the aliens, saving humanity yet again.
After the war, this individual and his twelve wives mysteriously vanished, as if they had never existed. Despite extensive searches by his followers, no trace of him could be found. The followers, unable to locate him, vowed that their master's lineage would always be respected, and any descendant of their master would be treated with unwavering loyalty and honor.
### *Aditya and Amayra's Story*
When Aditya heard his long-time girlfriend Amayra Srivastava say, "Aditya, let's break up," he was shattered. He tried to convince her, saying, "We've been dating for three years. We promised to live and die together. Have you forgotten everything? I've always treated you like a queen, even though I don't have much. I've tried to fulfill every wish of yours. How can you leave me like this? Was my love not enough for you?"
Amayra, looking at him with disdain, retorted, "What are you saying? Do you even realize? You think you treat me like a queen? A broke, pathetic person like you can't treat anyone like a queen. You can't even afford two proper meals a day, let alone treat someone like royalty. Look at this bag—Darshan Singhania gifted it to me. Its value is 10,000 points. You probably don't even know what a point is worth, so let me enlighten you: one point equals $100. Now calculate its value."
Aditya, in shock, replied, "Amayra, you know he's not a good guy. He has ruined so many girls' lives, and his harem already has 15 girls. He's only using you for his amusement. Once he gets bored, he'll discard you like trash."
Amayra laughed mockingly and said, "First, he promised to include me in his harem. Second, I don't mind being part of it. It's better than being the wife of a worthless person like you. At least he's a billionaire. Why would any woman settle for a loser like you? You're about to turn 18, and what have you achieved so far? You're neither rich nor powerful. You have no background or influence. No girl would want to be with you. Even the DSWFO (Deep Space Warfare Organization) wouldn't hire you for janitorial work.
"Meanwhile, Darshan Singhania is about to get a good position in the DSWFO. Our child will automatically have a high status. Even if our child doesn't secure a position, we'll still live a luxurious life. A woman couldn't ask for more. Anyway, I've wasted enough time explaining this to you. You're not worth it. Goodbye, Aditya. Darshan is waiting for me."
As Amayra walked away, Aditya's eyes involuntarily shifted to Darshan, who stood nearby, watching everything unfold. After speaking briefly with Amayra, Darshan approached Aditya and whispered, "You were right. I'll use her and then discard her. By the way, I've already slept with her. She's amazing. Honestly, I didn't plan to let her go, but she's not my class—just like she thinks you're not hers. That's what happens with losers like you—you don't know your place."
Laughing, Darshan walked away, leaving Aditya stunned. Other boys and girls nearby overheard everything and started gossiping. One of them, Dashrath, a jealous classmate of Aditya, saw this as an opportunity to humiliate him. Laughing loudly, he said, "What else can you expect from a loser? Some people don't know their place. Look at this topper—so smart, yet his girlfriend was taken right under his nose."
Turning to Aditya, he added, "Isn't that right, loser?" He laughed even louder, joined by others. Aditya, filled with anger and humiliation, chose to leave quietly, knowing any reaction would only worsen the mockery. As he walked across the college grounds, everyone stared at him, whispering about how he was now single. Darshan had already spread the news of his conquest, ensuring Aditya's humiliation was complete.
Aditya wanted to give a fitting reply to every person in the crowd, but he couldn't. He knew very well that if he said anything at that moment, people would mock him even more. So, he thought it was better to leave without saying anything. Just like he had walked away from the place where Amayra had broken up with him, he quickly headed toward his hostel. Upon reaching his hostel room, he locked the door behind him.
His roommates, who were also his friends, had already heard the rumors spreading outside. They tried to console Aditya, but he paid no attention to their words. Frustrated by their efforts, he finally told them, "Please leave me alone today." When his friends heard this, they understood that Aditya was not in a good mood. They decided not to bother him and left the room, planning to spend the night out with their respective girlfriends.
Night soon fell, but Aditya couldn't sleep. Amayra's words kept echoing in his mind—calling him a loser and a failure who struggled to feed himself but dreamed of treating her like a queen. Determined to change his fate, he started wondering what he could do to become as wealthy as Darshan Singhania. However, he knew it wasn't possible, as he was just an orphan.
While lost in these thoughts, he suddenly heard a voice in his head:
"What's wrong, boy? You seem very troubled."
Startled by the voice, Aditya found himself in a different dimension. There, he saw a man and 12 women standing before him. The women were looking at him with joy, but the man showed little emotion. Soon, however, the man smiled and said,
"Is such a small matter troubling you? Doesn't seem like you're my son."
Aditya was shocked and asked, "Who are you?"
The man chuckled and said, "You don't recognize me?"
Aditya concentrated and finally recognized the man but couldn't believe it. The person standing before him had disappeared over 350 years ago. How could he be his father?
Seeing Aditya's confused expression, the man understood everything. He exchanged a glance with the women and gestured for one of them to explain. The first woman stepped forward and said,
"You must be wondering how you're living in the year 2391 while we're people of the 21st century. How could we possibly be your parents? Let me tell you the truth. You are the result of the combined DNA of all 12 women here and your father. And yes, you weren't born on Earth but on a different planet where we used a special method to bring you into existence. Because of that, you were born as a Planet-Level Warrior."
"But then we thought if you got such power for free, you wouldn't respect it. So, we sealed your powers. On our planet, one year is equivalent to 50 years on Earth, so you can imagine how long we lived there and how much time has passed for you to arrive here. To be precise, we lived there for about six years, during which we created you."
"Now, don't ask how we all gave birth to you together. Just understand that if you've studied the principle of quantum physics' superposition, you can easily grasp the concept. Anyway, we would have stayed with you, but our planet was attacked by people from another world. We fought alongside our planet's inhabitants, but we all perished in the battle. Before dying, we programmed the spaceship to bring you back to your ancestral planet if we didn't survive."
"Unfortunately, we don't have much time. So, we're giving you the advanced Artificial Intelligence that was meant for you from birth. This AI is from a highly advanced civilization, far beyond our understanding. It will guide you and answer all your questions. As for your sealed powers, we've already returned them to you. You will also gain the knowledge to control the five elements—Water, Air, Earth, Fire, and Space—through the AI."
As they finished speaking, they began to disappear. Desperate, Aditya pleaded,
"Please don't leave so soon! You've only answered one of my questions. Who will answer the rest? How will I grow stronger without money?"
They laughed and said,
"The AI we've given you will answer all your questions. Now, we must leave."
And with that, they vanished, leaving Aditya reaching out helplessly. He soon found himself back in his room, hearing a voice in his mind:
