This chapter dedicated to Lonnie barrar, who give this story a prestigious power stone
Sovereign Bank was the largest bank on Earth. It was so massive that over 10% of the planet's wealth was deposited there. This money wasn't from middle-class or poor families but from the top 1% of the world's richest families. The card Aditya held also belonged to this bank. Sovereign Bank's headquarters were located in Mumbai, and it was originally founded by Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Aditya's father.
The primary purpose behind creating this bank was to ensure that in times of crisis, when Earth faced existential threats and chaos reigned, there would be at least one secure place where Earth's warriors could deposit their savings. This way, funds could be accessed swiftly during emergencies to deploy powerful weapons without delays.
Despite the two major attacks Earth had faced—one by artificial intelligence and the other by a Type 1 Civilization—there were countless other alien threats that Earth had managed to handle in distant space. These operations required an enormous amount of funding, most of which came from Sovereign Bank. Although the bank offered minimal interest on deposits—barely 0.5% annually—it was still the preferred choice for the wealthy because of its unparalleled security.
Aditya now stood before the largest branch of Sovereign Bank. He hesitated to go inside, as his body was wrapped in bandages applied by Yami Gupta, and he wasn't dressed appropriately. He wore his regular clothes, which were far from impressive. This made him second-guess his decision, but he eventually overcame his hesitation and approached the bank.
As he climbed the steps, the security guards at the entrance stopped him. One of them barked, "Hey, kid! Where do you think you're going? Don't you see what kind of bank this is? This is Sovereign Bank. People like you, who look like beggars, don't deserve to even stand outside, let alone enter. So, get lost before we lose our temper!"
Hearing this, Aditya's eyes filled with disdain. He thought to himself, *It's true what they say—if a person wears good clothes, they are allowed anywhere, regardless of their actual wealth. But if a wealthy person dresses simply, they're treated as poor.*
*These fools don't realize that this bank was founded by my father. And now, these scoundrels have the audacity to stop me? It seems I'll have to teach them a lesson. But then again, I can't blame them entirely. They probably think only well-dressed people are wealthy. Fine, let's deal with this in a different way. If they don't listen, I'll straighten them out right here.*
With a frown, Aditya said to the guards, "Why do you think I can't enter this bank?"
One of the guards sneered and replied, "First of all, your body is covered in bandages, which clearly means you're not strong. Secondly, your clothes are so shabby that even a beggar wouldn't wear them. It's obvious you're a poor loser. And for your information, it's a crime for poor people to even approach this bank."
Hearing this, Aditya warned them, "Step aside, or you'll regret it. Who told you I'm poor? You insolent fools, how dare you speak to me like this? Don't you realize that I might have come here straight from intense training? I didn't even have time to clean up or change my clothes. And now you dare stop me? Move aside!"
The guards, intimidated by Aditya's commanding tone, assumed he was the young master of a wealthy family who had come directly from training to withdraw money for some indulgence. They quickly apologized, bowing their heads. "We're sorry, young master. We didn't mean to offend you. Please go inside, and we promise this won't happen again. Kindly forgive us this time."
Aditya, satisfied with their reaction, nodded. He hadn't expected the guards to submit so easily. He had only tried threatening them as an experiment to see if they would listen, but he hadn't imagined they would turn from fierce lions to meek kittens. Regardless, it worked in his favor, and he was able to enter the bank without further issues.
Soon, he stepped inside the grand interiors of Sovereign Bank.
The Sovereign Bank's interior was exceptionally luxurious. If someone were to compare it to an alien world, it wouldn't be an exaggeration, as the bank boasted the most advanced facilities. Everywhere you looked, there was something valuable. For instance, the walls were adorned with exquisite paintings that left people in awe. Additionally, several ancient weapons were displayed, adding to its grandeur. Even the tea served in the branch was brewed from the world's finest tea leaves. This is why many wealthy individuals often referred to this bank as the "Bank of Heaven."
However, Aditya paid no attention to any of this. His purpose was solely to check his account balance, not to admire these luxurious elements. Upon entering the branch, he looked around for a place to sit and quickly found one. But just as he was about to take a seat, a girl sitting nearby stopped him.
Looking at him with disdain, she said, "Hey, you poor thing! How dare you think of sharing a seat with me? Do you even know who I am? Even if you don't, let me tell you that someone as lowly as you doesn't belong here. Who let you into this place?"
Saying this, she called out to security. "Security! Come quickly and throw this beggar out of here! I don't know where these kinds of people come from, and honestly, it's ridiculous that the security here allows such people inside."
Hearing her words, Aditya was both shocked and angry. Shocked because all he wanted was to sit quietly and wait for his turn to check his account balance, and angry because the girl had insulted him so harshly without knowing anything about him.
Her yelling caught the attention of others in the bank, who started glancing at Aditya. When they noticed his simple clothing, their reactions mirrored hers. They began whispering among themselves.
"Is something wrong with the security guards here? How could they let someone like this into the bank? People like him shouldn't even be allowed near the building, let alone inside."
The situation escalated and reached the receptionist. When the receptionist saw Aditya, she too became furious. She immediately approached him and started berating him harshly.
"Excuse me! How dare someone like you step inside this prestigious bank? Don't you know what kind of place this is? Stop staring at me and leave quietly, or I'll have you thrown out myself!"
She then called security. "Security! Come quickly and remove this uncultured, uneducated villager from here!"
After hearing the receptionist's harsh words, the two security guards stationed outside entered the bank. They glared at Aditya with disdain as they approached him. Holding their electric rods, they lunged at him and said, "Hey boy! Weren't you acting all high and mighty earlier? Let's see where your arrogance is now. Are you still going to act like a drama king, or will you behave?"
By this time, Aditya's anger had reached its peak. In a commanding voice, he yelled at everyone who had tried to humiliate him, "You scoundrels! How dare you speak such nonsense about someone without even knowing them? Who in their right mind allowed you into this bank? And what's wrong with the bank management, letting incompetent people like you run this place? Do you think I came here without a reason? If I wanted to wander aimlessly, I could have gone to a mall instead of coming here!"
Then, turning his attention to the girl who had initially looked down on him, he said, "And you—do you think you're the only wealthy person here? Tell me, just how rich do you think you are? You can't be more than 22 or 23 years old, and yet you're already so full of yourself. Fine, be arrogant if you want, but who gave you the right to question someone's character without reason?"
At this point, Aditya was so furious that he wasn't sparing anyone. Finally, he glared at the receptionist and said, "If you care about your safety, go back to your desk quietly. Otherwise, you'll meet a miserable end!"
Seeing how enraged Aditya had become, the receptionist was visibly shaken and began to feel genuinely scared.
"Who dares to create such a ruckus in my bank?" As soon as the people in the bank heard this commanding voice, they all fell completely silent. No one dared to utter a word. Instead, they all turned in the direction of the voice. Moments later, the owner of that voice appeared on the scene.
Approaching the receptionist, he asked, "What's going on here? Why are all of you standing like this?"
The receptionist first greeted the man and then replied, "Manager Sir, look at this ragged boy who has somehow entered the bank and now refuses to leave. Please handle this situation." Saying this, she stepped aside.
When the manager looked at Aditya, he seemed lost in thought for a moment. Then he addressed Aditya, "Sir, may I know why you are here?"
Aditya nodded and handed him a card he had found in his storage ring. The moment the manager saw the card, his hands and feet began to tremble. In a nervous tone, he asked Aditya, "Sir, are you absolutely certain this card belongs to you?"
Aditya, now visibly irritated, responded in a harsh voice, "What do you think? Do I look like I'm joking?"
The manager simply smiled at this and then, in a respectful tone, said, "Sir, would you please accompany me to my office? We can discuss the rest there."
With that, the manager led Aditya toward his office.
