After the rest of the high-ranking Marines left, Garp became serious and said, "There's something we bought from the merchants. Other than the three fruits, we bought these things called Petricite."
Intrigued, Sengoku asked, "What are these Petricite? I tried asking you when you were sailing here, but you wouldn't speak!"
Garp laughed with tears in his eyes and said, "There's a reason for that. The merchant brat explained that Petricite not only neutralizes Devil Fruits but also Haki."
Sengoku stood up with sweat all over his face and said, "Is that true?!"
Garp nodded, "Yes. Kizaru tested it on the island, and it worked. I tried the limit of the handcuffs when we were traveling here, and it can stop armament Haki and Observation, but not Conquerors. Furthermore, no matter how strong the Haki is, it doesn't matter, because every time I used it, it felt like my Haki was getting sucked."
Sengoku sat down and said, "I can see why you didn't say anything during your travel. If the World Government found out about this…"
"That's right. If they do find out about such an item, they would most likely monopolize it and not give a single one to the Marines! Those greedy bastards! These can be useful to the Marines in capturing big names in the New World."
Sengoku sighed and continued, "We can't really smuggle or buy it in private. And it would most likely be in the Black Market in a few months. So it's best for us to report about the item, and try to get as much as we can."

As the two talked, a sudden ringing from the Den Den Mushi drew their attention.
Sengoku picked up the Den Den Mushi and said, "Hello? This is Fleet Admiral speaking."
"Fleet Admiral! This is Rear Admiral Kai from the Grand Line branch. A mink bounty hunter going by the name Rengar, has suddenly appeared with 40 living captured Pirates, 60 dead, and 30 heavily injured. We do not have the money nor the space to keep these pirates. Although they're all small fries, they all add up to 400 million, as there were a few with high bounty."
Sengoku and Garp looked at each other, with Sengoku answering the Rear Admiral, "130 Pirates? How?"
"It would appear that he obliterated several pirate crew in Jaya island. He said that there were no more Pirates on the island."
Sengoku sighed and said, "I will send a fleet there, and if you could, try to recruit him to the Marines."
"Yes sir!"

3 hours earlier, Jaya island
POV Ace
"We're getting close to the Island captain!" Yelled Masked Deuce
I smiled at Deuce as I saw the island nearby. It's an island known to be lawless and pirates roamed the island.
We landed at the dock, but I felt that something was wrong. I stopped everyone from entering the Island any further, as I smelled blood in the air. After investigating, I found blood all over the buildings and floors, and the deeper I went into the town, the stronger the scent of blood was. What's more, there is a feeling that I'm being watched.
I went back to the dock where my crew was and we decided to head to the town filled with blood. However, as we stepped foot into the town, we saw dead bodies with no heads all over the place.
And suddenly, a man with a tiger's face appeared right in front of me. He let out his claws and punched me in the head. However, I quickly elementalized myself before he could do any damage to me.
Me and my crew backed off as I said, "Who are you?! We're you the one that killed all these guys?"
The furry took out somethingfrom his back and started reading the book, "Portgas D Ace, captain of the Spade pirates, worth 85 million berries, the highest so far."
'A bounty hunter?' I thought
I gathered flame on my hands as I got readied to fight. The bastard smiled at me and said, "A Devil Fruit user? And it should be a Logia-type Devil Fruit.
The furry started slowly walking towards me. I finished gathering the flames onto my first and punched the air, releasing all the fire.
"Fire fist!"
However, as soon as I sent out the burst of fire that decimated all the houses, he suddenly disappeared and appeared behind me, saying, "A worthy prey.
*Purupuru-purupuru*
A sudden call from a Den Den Mushi in the furry pocket stopped all fighting. Everyone went quiet as he picked up the Den Den Mushi, "What is it Markon?"
The Den Den Mushi had spiky pink hair with a scar on one of the eyes. The Den Den Mushi looked angry as it talked, "Where the fuck is my money at Rengar?! You haven't given me shit these past few weeks!"
The furry frowned and responded, "I said I'll give it! I just found my first pirates and killed a lot of them! I'll give you the money once I finish my work here! I'm currently fighting someone right now!"
"Oh yeah? Who are they?"
The person that's known as Rengar stared at us and asked, "Who the fuck are you guys?"
"We're the Spade pirate!" I yelled
Hearing my voice, the person behind the Den Den Mushi stayed quiet for a couple of seconds and said,
"Ace?"
