"I simply made you better."
A ding sound suddenly caught my attention as I stared at the two interacting.
[Special missions have been completed. Rewards have now been given.]
I smiled and opened my inventory. In the inventory, there were 3 new items. One was a ball-like figure that resembled that of the sun. It lit up brightly with its mightly orange color. The other two items were 2 books with the names "Armament Haki" and "Observation Haki."
Curiosity took over me as I opened the sun and brought it out. However, When I did, a sudden burst of energy and intense heat greeted me. My skin began to burn and my bones began showing.
Aurelion Sol noticed the sudden burst of energy and said, "Hmm? Calm down young one."
He brought his arm forward and the sun, seemingly alive, began to fly towards Aurelion Sol.
"Where did you get this? Did a star perhaps choose you?" Asked Aurelion Sol.
I grit my teeth due to the unbearable pain caused by the sun. Seeing my pain, Aurelion Sol weaved his hands and said, "This star is untamed and wild. It's still young. I don't know if you can also contain a star inside you, but it's worth a try."
As he weaved his hands, a bright light enveloped the sun and made it grow in size. The untamed fury of the sun began to calm down. Aurelion Sol then sent the sun towards me and, like Ace, placed the sun inside me.
"It's still young, so take care of it. I made it more calm and more powerful, but you'll have to awaken it in the near future. However, I will warn you, you shouldn't carelessly use the power of the sun, as your body is far too weak and is not made out of fire like this boy."
Once the star finished integrating into my body, my burnt skin started healing visible to the eyes. Steam came out of the healing parts and the injuries magically disappeared.
-A few days later-
Alabasta Kingdom
Nefertari Cobra POV
I sat on my throne as I thought about the future of this Kingdom. Many of my citizens are dying because of a drought that has been going on for years now. The people are starting to gossip that the Royal Family is using Dance Powder to manipulate the weather.
What's more, some people are now starting to build factions against the Royal Family. It's only a matter of time before they begin their revolt. If that's not bad enough, people are getting addicted to gambling in this country. Many have lost it all, while only a few have won it big. And the person behind everything is the so-called hero of Alabasta: Mr. 0.
I sighed and whispered, "Why my reign?"
"Father…"
The door opened and my only child entered without me noticing. She looked at me with pity as she also knew the current events happening in the Kingdom.
I smiled and greeted my daughter, "Ah, Vivi. What are you doing here?"
We talked for a whole hour until someone opened the door once more. This time, the person who came in was the strongest person in the Kingdom, Pell.
He bowed down and greeted me with the utmost respect, "Your Majesty."
I smiled and asked, "What is it Pell?"
"Merchants from an unknown Kingdom are requesting your presence."
"Merchants? Do you know what they're selling? We don't have much money, especially after the recent drought."
"They are selling Devil Fruits and unknown items."
Me and Vivi looked at each other and asked,
"Devil Fruits?"

POV Markon
It has been 2 weeks since Ace got here. We started training together alongside his crew. We are currently learning the two types of Haki. However, only me and Ace seem to be the only two who can now use Haki.
I am now able to tap into Observation Haki and dodge 2 to 4 attacks. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement. I think the giant gorilla helped me a lot, and now with more exposure to Observation, I learned faster than Ace.
Although I can now tap into Observation, I still don't know how to use Armament Haki. It's by far the hardest to learn. Ace is also just like me, he can only use Observation and not Armament.
Haki wasn't the only thing I have been learning for the past 2 weeks. I have been trying to control the star inside me. I tried using it in a fight with Ace, but it ended in a disaster. About a mile of the forest burnt to ashes before it could even be set on fire.
"Hey Markon."
As I practiced my control over the star, I suddenly heard a voice behind me. It was Ace. He was with his crew and was dressed, ready to leave. He greeted me with a smile as we have grown closer together during the past few days, as we shared many similarities and hobbies.
"Leaving already?" I asked while smirking
"Yeah! My little brother will be setting sail 2 years from now. I can't let my little brother catch up to me!"
I smiled and threw him some items, "Here take these."
He caught them and asked, "What's this for?"
"It's something that you can use to get back to this island if you ever want to. You'll always be welcome here."
Ace grinned then bowed his head a little,
"Thank you."

For those of you wondering why I am highlighting Ace so much, it's because he will be a major player in this ff.
Hehehehehe spoilers, he now has an almost infinite amount of energy, I wonder what the world government will think of this.
