14 days later.
Ace POV
It has been 14 days since we started sailing. We weren't allowed to go outside when an island was nearby, as the Demacians did not want to reveal their Kingdom. Every day felt like we were being captured.
"When are we gonna arrive?" I asked Myne
Myne smiled at me and answered, "We are entering the fog, please wear this."
She gave me a necklace that looked like it was made out of gold. As I put it on, a sudden distortion happened before my eyes. The fog that wasn't in front of us suddenly appeared and slowly disappeared as it showed an island.
There was nothing special about the island, but the most eye-catching was a tall temple that could be seen from miles away.
"Here we are, the Island of Demacia. Head towards that temple and you will meet our king. We have to keep trading so we cannot accompany you." Said Myne
I ordered Deu to come with me while the rest of the crew stayed on the beach to protect the ship, as we didn't know anything about the island.
After walking for a few minutes, we finally saw the magnificent temple that stood out throughout the island. It was close to a medium-sized house and a hut that spawns Z's on top of it.
I looked around trying to find someone, and then a sudden voice reached my ear, "Welcome, Fire Fist Ace."
Turning around, I saw a man with the guy had light salmon pink hair with sharp eyes and jaws. His eyes were also light salmon pink, with one of the eyes having a scar. The man's face was pale and clean, with his gaze and presence giving off a dominating aura. The aura of a King.
"Who are you?" I asked
I started a fire within my arm, to which he responded by disappearing and appearing beside me. "Relax, I'm not here to harm you."
I eased up, but not fully. I still don't know why he would ever ask a pirate to come to his island. He could be plotting something and claim my bounty. After all, nothing and no one is on this island but him and that temple. This could all be a plot to kill me.
"So, why did you ask us to come here?" I asked.
"Didn't I tell you, a gut feeling." He shrugged
"You don't look that much younger than me, are you sure this is a Kingdom?"
He frowned and looked at me, "I might look like I'm young, but I'm not. Plus, do you really think we can't make a Kingdom with those monsters around?"
I began to think back at the 3 men that was there in Jaya. And the people with masks that was faster than most pirates.
"So what now?" I asked
He smiled and quickly answered, "Fight me. And I will tell you all about the fruit Masked Deuce ate."
I looked at Deu who looked back at me, ready for any of my commands. I smiled and said, "Bring it on."
We both quickly dashed towards one another with our arms colliding and creating small winds. As our arms met, he quickly used his other arm and tried to push me in the face. However, I easily dodged and countered with a kick.
He was sent back a few feet from me as he absorbed all the energy from my kick. Although my kick managed to connect, I couldn't help but think that his entire body was tough. It felt like I was hitting a boulder.
He looked at me with a crazed smile on his face and said, "Is that all you've got?"
I smiled while veins began to form on my forehead as he mocked me. I dashed forward with my fist covered in flames. He dodged to the left and delivered a right hook. As the fist neared my face, I elementalized and backed off.
My face quickly took shape and went back to its normal state. However, as it went back to normal, Markon was already gone.
"Ace! Behind you!"
Deu caught my attention as he yelled at me. I turned around as was struck by Markon who was slowly appearing with a grin on his face. However, to his dismay, I elementalized as he struck me.
I formed a gun with my fingers and released mass flames with the speed of a bullet, "Fire gun!"
He ran towards the right and disappeared again. 'This bastard keeps on disappearing and appearing!' I thought.
"Let's see if you can avoid this!"
Remembering the bulky man who created a miniature sun, I copied him and gathered flames on my finger, creating a 20-foot giant ball.
As I was getting ready to release the miniature sun, a sudden mocking voice echoed throughout the sky, "Is that supposed to be a sun?"
"W-What?"
Looking up, I couldn't help but stutter looking at the massive dragon. Its presence was domineering. He slowly got smaller and got close to my miniature sun. He took a deep breath and blew my flames away.
He sneered and said, "Do not mock my creation with these sparks."
Our eyes met and I asked him a question, "W-What are you?"
The dragon pointed at himself and said, "Who me? I am the celestial god that created your favorite star. All the galaxies are in my palm. I am Aurelion Sol, the Star Forger."
With a mocking tone, he continued, "But seriously, this is what a real sun looks like."
In the blink of an eye, a sudden heat burst out of his palm, destroying the nearby trees and burning some of my skin. A miniature sun that radiated immense heat was created in the palm of his hand.
He looked down at me with a grin forming and said, "You are purely made out of flames. Maybe you could handle this star. Although it's just a small one, I wonder what it'll do to a human body."
As he said those words, the sun suddenly floated and was heading towards me. I tried my best to move, but his aura alone stopped me. The sun slowly but surely got close to me. As it got near my chest, I began to think about my death. However, as it touched my skin, nothing happened but the sun passing through me.
The sun finished entering inside me (pause) and a warm feeling surged throughout my body. However, after a few seconds of warmth pain began taking over. My body elementalized and every flame that came out of my body was going wild.
After a few minutes, I lay down on the ground with sweat all over my body. Aurelion Sol snickered and said, "Well, color me impressed. I didn't think a human could actually contain my star. I guess the flames that make up your body did help."
I stood up and looked at my fist. I began using my flames, and to my surprise, my flames were much stronger than before. As I poured more intensity on the flames, the flames became blue while its speed was unfathomable.
I looked at Aurelion Sol and Asked, "What did you do to me?"
He mocked and said,
"I simply made you better."
