Tim took a break from his busy schedule to work things out with Meesha. Even though he was filming a new drama series, Tim did not want to leave things hanging.
However, he is no longer sure what to do. He wonders if Meesha truly forgot about her allergy, or if what she did was just to make him feel bad. He is agitated, oscillating like a pendulum.
His mother wants to go after him, but Meesha requests that she let her go instead. She knew she had unintentionally hurt Tim.
Meesha opens the door quietly and notices Tim pacing back and forth in frustration.
Pulling herself together, she asks, "Why did you leave like this?"
Tim stops. Just a moment ago, he was enraged, but his rage vanished upon seeing Meesha. He walks a few steps towards Meesha. Meesha's heart began to race.
Looking straight into Meesha's eyes, Tim says, "I thought we were good, but what happened earlier makes me doubt that."
He turns around and continues, "I mean, there is no way you could have forgotten about your allergies."
"So, tell me what you have got to say."
Tears well up in her eyes. She wants to be honest with him, but before she can speak, her dream comes back to her.
Nobody believed her in her dream, so she had to abandon everyone in order to save their reputation. Nobody in their right mind would believe such nonsense about time travel.
Meesha knows that day would come when her lies would be exposed, and she would have to tell him the truth. Thus, even at the risk of being called crazy, she makes the decision to tell him everything right away.
"I have no memory of anything."
"I have no idea how I ended up here and became your wife in the blink of an eye.I just do not know," Meesha says, her voice heavy and looking down at the ground.
She looks at Tim who's in disbelief.
Meesha yells, "You can choose not to believe me," as she bolts from the room.
********
Meesha left the house disheartened. She continued walking in a daze, and now she is lost.
She doesn't know which way to go. She did not even bring her phone along. She attempts to recognize her surroundings but becomes frustrated because no matter how hard she tries, she cannot find anything familiar.
Meesha stops in front of one house after another, checking to see if she has seen them before.
"Oh my Gawd!! I seem to be my own worst enemy. I am not even sure what his house looks like...aaaaa... Meesha exclaims, frustrated, "I should not have reacted this way."
Meesha was scratching her head when a man stopped his car in front of her. She turns around and starts to move faster.
The man follows her, calling her name.
Meesha stops hearing her name and wonders, "How does he know my name?"
He says, standing in front of her, "See, I knew you were Meesha."
"What are you doing here?" asks the man staring at her. He looks around and says, "I do not see Tim with you. What brings you here?
One thing is certain: this man is familiar with both Meesha and Tim. The real question is, how is Meesha related to him.
"Is he Tim's younger brother? Meesha pondered. No, he isn't. His brother was home in the morning, and this man does not look like a teenager."
The man gestures with his hand to attract Meesha's attention as she has been standing motionless for a while.
The man asks, narrowing his eyes, "You did not forget me, did you? "
"Nah! We met last week. How could you forget me so quickly?"
Meesha fakes a smile, "Of course I know you. She laughs eerily, "Do you think I am that dimwit?"
The man does not laugh. He is too stunned to speak.
"I had no idea she had this side to her," the man muses to himself.
The man asks if Tim has returned yet. He called him yesterday, but Tim did not return his call. He turns to face Meesha, who is just as lost as she was before.
"Forget it. I'll tell you. I'm Mark, Tim's friend, clarifies the man.
" That is it, dude. You can stop giving me that look," says Mark to Meesha, who is staring straight into his soul.
"Oh! I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." Meesha giggles, "Just checking if I have seen you before."
Meesha stopped Mark as he was about to leave. "Aah! If you don't mind ...Meesha hesitates.....may I use your phone?"
