"Yes....Go ahead."
Mark hands Meesha his phone after unlocking it. She gives Tim a call. If he did not answer the phone, she was worried about how she would get home.
Meesha was about to hang up when she heard a gruff "hello."
"Uhm! It's me, Meesha." Meesha replies while closing her eyes in the hopes that Tim will not reprimand her.
Tim's voice softens when he asks where she is, much to her surprise.
"Wait a minute, this is not your number. Are you and Mark together? How did you wind up there?" Tim fires a series of questions at Meesha before she can answer where she is.
"Hold on. "This is too many questions to answer, Tim," Meesha responds.
Tim asks Meesha to hand over phone to Mark. He wants Mark to share his location and stay with Meesha until he gets there.
Mark asks Meesha to wait in his car, but she refuses. However, as she watches the sky and the clouds gathering, she reconsiders and decides to wait in Mark's car.
She looks at Mark, who is struggling not to ask a question.
"You want to ask me something? Gazing out the window, Meesha asks.
"No, nevermind."
"Actually, yes. I do want to know, but it feels like I am intruding into your personal life," Mark says, placing his hands on the steering wheel.
Meesha assures him, smiling, that he is not.
"Have you fought with Tim? "I mean, you do not have your phone with you, and you do not seem happy," Mark asks.
Mark keeps questioning and answering on his own. Although their relationship may not be going well, he encourages Meesha to stick with him. Tim has been his friend for years, and she is the only woman he has ever loved.
While Mark is defending his friend, Meesha thinks to herself, "He seems like a really good friend of Tim."
He was the kind of friend she wished she had, someone who would stand by her the way he did for Tim.
"Here comes my friend, Tim!" Mark exclaims.
"How do you know it's Tim? Meesha inquires, her gaze drawn to the car in front of theirs.
"Do you think I have a memory of a goldfish like you?" says Mark as he opens the car door to get out.
After hearing Mark's remark, Meesha bursts out laughing. She was so loud, Tim and Mark could hear her from outside the car.
Meesha corrects her posture after noticing Tim and Mark looking at her strangely. Tim gestures for her to get out of the car.
While Meesha is still in the car, Mark asks Tim, hesitantly, if something has happened to her.
Oh! I mean she is acting like a different person, really." Mark replies, "She did not recognize me and I saw her different side," in response to Tim's death-stare."
Tim did not want to respond, but says, "She left the house in a bad mood, so she was just trying to get on your nerves."
It begins to drizzle. Meesha rushes to Tim's car. Tim gives Mark a friendly squeeze on the shoulder and heads back to his car.
Mark waves back as they leave. "I believe I am missing something," utters as he approaches his car and opens the door.
"Darn! I wanted to talk to Tim."
"Hey! Mark turns to face them but they are nowhere to be seen. "I have something to talk to you," he yells.
