My work now was done, I had to wait for the response from Euris which I expected to come soon.
Now was the time for me to return the favour to that female worm, I could stop calling her worm but somehow I still think the name suited her than her real name.
I started to roam around the village to find Jack, I found him with Adrian near the lake, Adrian was the first one to notice me. He shook Jack to tell him about my presence.
Jack was trying to catch fish with his hands, he had probably pulled Adrian in his fruitless endeavour.
He is not a wild beast even though I call him an ape, it's impossible for them to catch fish with their hand.
When Jack finally noticed me he gritted his teeth in resentment, it looks like he still remembers what happened in the early morning.
Seriously he should learn to let things go, I mean how would he function in society if he keeps acting like this?
Oh, I don't let things go. I do let the past go just like... I don't.
"HE-hello Dustin"
Adrian awkwardly greeted me, to which I responded in kind by raising my one hand up in the air.
"HI, Adrian"
I looked at Jack who was sending me a message with his eyes, the message was something like this 'Don't tell him what happened early in the morning'.
"Jack-my little brother you won't catch fish like this."
"LI-little brother, I am older than you by 3 years by the way"
"Adrian do you know what happened-"
"Big brother Dustin what are you doing here"
Jack's tone completely changed when I straight-up blackmailed him, I walked towards him and patted his head like an adult does to a child.
Of course, he was taller than me so I had to raise my hand up in the air to irritate him.
"My dear little brother your big bro needs your help"
"You- stop it right now"
"Stop what, I do not understand anything"
He was torn between the embarrassment of me acting like his big brother and not wanting Adrian to know the limits of his stupidity.
I don't know about Western countries but in Asia, if you don't even know where the sun rises from your life will become a Joke.
Relatives and your family will taunt you every second of life.
But even on Earth, there were people who stubbornly believed Earth was flat.
In fact, A flat planet cannot exist. A planet is a huge object with gravity strong enough to draw it into a nearly spherical form. There is no material that can endure such strain.
I was getting out of the subject.
I stopped joking with him and asked him in a casual tone.
"How many of the skills you have inherited and learnt from your father, give me an honest answer."
"Why? You want me to make something for you. I can do it for free for you but I will charge if the raw material is costly. I can make most of the stuff but it won't be close to the quality my father produces so if it's something important ask my father instead."
"It's not something important and it doesn't require high skills to make it. I don't think your father would like me so that option is out of the question."
He awkwardly scratched his head when he heard my words, I didn't want him to feel any more uncomfortable so I didn't touch the subject anymore.
I picked up a stone to make the structure or the blueprint for the object I wanted.
I finished making it in just 5 minutes, Adrian curiously observed the blueprint to understand what it was but it flew over his head.
"It's not complicated or hard to make so I won't ask for money but what do you need it for?"
"You will know after I finish making everything. I want it to be made before the end of the day"
"Dude, seriously you should learn patience. I will make it but next time don't give me such a short deadline"
He sighed after hearing my words, I had given him the blueprint of the Hand-Cranked Spindle.
"But Dustin you should have given me this on paper and not drawn on the sand"
"Then you should draw it on paper and take care of everything else"
He looked like he had given up on me, I understand I was leaving everything to him but I also had to prepare for stuff.
"Don't worry when I finish making it you will be the first person who will dance in joy"
He simply nodded not believing my words.
I needed money and not just a little but a lot for my future endeavours, if it was not for this then I wouldn't have tried to use Euris.
I am not crazy about messing up with a person in the Heavenly Star realm when I haven't even entered Morning Star.
If I simply needed someone to help me in my breakthrough and make sure I don't drop dead in the process I would have chosen Thomas.
It would have been hard for me to convince him but the potential danger would have been negligible, I had been prepared for Euris to attack me even though I knew he was not that kind of person.
The reason was that I needed Euris's identity as a noble for protection, even if I used my ingenuity to create methods to earn a good sum of money I wouldn't be able to keep it due to my identity as a commoner.
In the future, I could buy a noble title if I had enough money but to keep the money I need a noble to act as my guardian.
To be honest, even if the empire was not corrupt I don't think it was possible for me to earn a large sum of money just relying on myself.
