He stood up and carried me in his arms, leaving both me and my family stunned. When we got to the room, he placed me on the bed gently. I was about to protest, but when I looked at his face, he was smiling. "I just saved you too, just like you did to me," he said. "There was no need for that," I said, referring to how he carried me. "Sorry?" He answered. "Go to bed," he said and then stood up to leave. "Where are you going?" I knew he was leaving the room but still thought of asking just to be sure. "I'm going out. I don't sleep at night so what's the use of staying here," he said. "The whole family is wide awake still having fun downstairs and you want to go out?" I said. He understood where I was getting at, so he just went and sat on the couch that was next to the bed. Feeling relieved, I lay down to sleep. "Good night," I said to him and then closed my eyes to sleep. But who was I kidding? It was like this man was made to torment my life.
I suddenly felt disturbed by mosquitoes, not just one but two. I stood up to wonder what might have caused it, only to notice the bedroom windows widely opened. I stood up to close them, I didn't even know how, when, and why they were opened in the first place. I was still busy closing them when I saw someone sitting on a mango tree that was right outside our house. I looked closely only for me to see that it was Skyler. "Hey, what are you doing up there?" I said. He turned around and saw me, but whatever happened after that, I don't know. All I knew was that he was standing in front of me. I pushed him away out of fright, "how did you get here?" I asked. "I teleported here!" He said. "How did you do that? I mean don't ever do that again," I said out of fright. My heart started beating fast, I realized it was one of my panic attacks again. This doesn't normally happen to me except in some odd situations, and this situation was odd. I tried calming myself down by hitting my chest, but it didn't work. I was about to slump before Skyler immediately caught me in his arms. "Are you okay?" He asked. I could not say anything because it was hard for me to breathe. I only groaned indicating that I needed help. Realizing that I couldn't breathe, Skyler embraced me and gently patted my back with his hands. "Breathe in and out, in... Out...." That's all I could hear him say as I closed my eyes. I woke up a few minutes later and met myself on the bed, Skyler was also there but he was resting on the couch. He didn't seem to be sleeping, but his eyes were shut. I took a deep breath and found myself lying down back to sleep. My heart kept pondering on what happened some hours ago, "who exactly is this guy?" I looked at him and looked away. "He's not a vampire or a werewolf," I said to myself. He suddenly opened his eyes and looked at me, "What's wrong? Why do you keep murmuring, it's irritating." He said, looking serious. "Sorry," I said, I was scared of him from the moment I met him, but after some weeks now, I thought he was not as scary as it seemed. But right now, I'm starting to fear him. He's weird, that's certain.
