Chapter 5 - Existence 1

Tau took a deep breath, his eyes gazing into the distance as he delved into the tale of the EA. "The Supremes were earthlings in the truest sense," he began, his voice low and measured. "Their origin was linked to this world, and their past was archived in a way that would never be truly forgotten."

He paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "Their existence would always be felt, even if someone tried to erase them. They would always come back, in some form or another, as iterations of their being in this world. It was as if their essence was woven into the very fabric of existence itself."

I listened intently, my mind reeling with the implications of Tau's words. He spoke of the Supremes with a reverence that bordered on awe.

"Being a Supreme is never an issue like the ideas you hear about from novels," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You know, the whole 'ruling over an origin for greater power' trope. Some crazy Supremes tried that, but they ended up waking up an old god, like those mentioned in mythologies."

Tau's eyes sparkled with amusement, but his tone quickly turned serious. "The meanings gleaned from their discussions led to certain conclusions about existence," he whispered, his voice carried on the cosmic wind.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I pondered the weight of his statement. "Existence, my friend, is the state of being," Tau continued, his eyes sparkling with insight. "It is the quality of having presence and reality."

I turned to him, my voice barely above a whisper. "But what does it mean to exist?" I asked, my mind grappling with the complexity of the concept.

Tau's smile was enigmatic. "To exist is to be," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "It is to have a place in the grand tapestry of the universe. It is to have a sense of self, of identity, of purpose."

His voice dropped to a whisper, his words taking on a sense of awe. "Existence is precious, fleeting, and fragile," he said. "It is a gift, a privilege, a responsibility."

"As we delved deeper into the mysteries of existence, we came to a profound realization. Some people, we understood, may possess sufficient existence, but it may not actually activate in their lifetime. It was as if their existence was dormant, waiting for the right catalyst to set it in motion."

Tau's eyes seemed to bore into my soul as he continued, his voice low and measured. "Some Supremes had gleaned from their past that their existence had already found an outlet," he said, his words dripping with significance. "They were somehow propagating the reinforcement of this reality's existence."

As the weight of Tau's words settled upon me, a shiver coursed down my spine. I grasped the implications of his message, and my mind reeled with the realization. The continued life and of this reality, I understood, was not infinite. It, too, had a lifespan, a fragile and delicate existence that could be extinguished in a matter of moments.

But, I realized, it was not a fixed entity. It could extend its lifespan, grow and evolve with the power and knowledge that Tau spoke of, the propagation and growth of imagination it allows for the supremes to use the best and most powerful system imagined by man to grow even further.

and the reincarnates along with transmigrators get to use their stored existence to facilitate their lives be easier and survive better in the new world. The thought sent a surge of hope through me, a sense of possibility that I had not considered before.

Tau's voice took on a sense of urgency, his words tumbling forth with a passion that was infectious. "Know that in the past, the power imagined by those who have been living as mortals had a visible lower and upper limit," he said, his words painting a picture of a world bound by strict rules and limitations.

But, he continued, "the coming of the information explosion had changed all that. The capability and difference in the abilities displayed by individuals had become vast and seemingly infinite."

I felt my mind expanding, struggling to comprehend the sheer scope of Tau's words.

The world, I realized, was no longer a fixed, static entity like I thought that it may end with just our actions. It was a dynamic, ever-changing tapestry, woven from the threads of human existence and the limitless possibilities of the digital realm. And at the heart of it all was the people, with their unique existence and contribution to make.

In this vast, interconnected web, every person played a crucial role. Their existence, their knowledge, and their power were all threads in the intricate fabric of reality. And as I pondered this truth, I felt a sense of awe and wonder at the sheer complexity and beauty of existence.
