Chapter 9 - Sylvia El Ru 2

In the following days, Eugene continued his routine of training in magic with the , followed by combat training with Sylvia. Thanks to the skill "Avenger," Eugene became immune to Sylvia's attacks, which couldn't even scratch him. Sylvia didn't notice this change, or perhaps she didn't care. Slowly, Sylvia began to open up more with Eugene, showing her childlike and curious personality only when she was with him. The explained that the bond Eugene had created using his unique skill "Tamer" played a significant role in this.

One day, after finishing training with Sylvia, she decided to tell him about her father, Twilight. Twilight was a strange creature who created other races and favored the devils over others. He was insane, and Sylvia was afraid for her people, so she decided to run away. She began to apologize, fearing that her father would send one of his crazy creatures to search for her and her people. She started crying heavily, regretting what she had done by bringing troubles to them.

Eugene felt tense and didn't know what to do after seeing her tears. He slowly approached her and tried to calm her down.

"Sylvia, don't worry. We are here to face any challenges together. I won't let anyone hurt you or your people," Eugene said in a gentle tone.

Sylvia looked at him with tear-filled eyes, and she began to calm down a little. "But what if my father comes? He is very powerful."

Eugene placed his hand on her shoulder and said confidently, "We will face him together."

[There is no friendship power here]

"But you don't understand, my father is merciless. I ran away from him, but he won't stop until he finds me. I hate myself for bringing these troubles to you." Sylvia replied, trying to hold back her tears.

"Don't worry, if he really comes, I will kill him."

"Because I... am the strongest~" Eugene said confidently, ignoring that he had paraphrased a certain someone's quote.

After a few minutes, Sylvia finally calmed down.

Sylvia smiled shyly and wiped her tears. "Thank you, Eugene. I'm grateful to have you by my side."

In that moment, Eugene realized that he had a role greater than just training and fighting. He needed to be a leader and a supporter for those who depended on him. From here, his journey to achieve that began.

In the days that followed, training continued, and the understanding between Eugene and Sylvia improved. Thanks to the power of "Avenger" and the 's guidance, Eugene began to realize the extent of his abilities and how to use them to protect the village and enhance its strength.

-------------

As days passed, Eugene's power became noticeably superior, even Sylvia, who was considered one of the strongest beings he knew, could not keep up with him. The unique skill was a terrifying skill that enhanced his power at an astonishing rate with every blow he received. But he knew that his current strength, though impressive, was not enough to face the real dangers in this world. Giants, true dragons, and demon lords were all real threats that required much greater strength.

For this reason, Eugene decided to delve deeper into the forest to explore more power. However, Ramris, who was always near Eugene, wouldn't let him go alone.

"You're too weak, and I, the great Ramris, won't let my follower die so easily," Ramris said seriously, even though he had never acknowledged that he was her follower.

Eugene looked at Ramris with a frustrated smile, but he couldn't refuse her.

With the power he gained from the skill, Eugene became more confident in his ability to survive in the forest. He knew that Ramris would be a strong support for him and wouldn't hesitate to protect herself and him.

"Alright, Ramris, if you insist on coming, I won't stop you. But remember, we are here to become stronger," Eugene said firmly.

Ramris nodded, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to protect you."

Eugene and Ramris began their journey deeper into the forest.

-----------

With the new power Eugene had gained, the strength of the monsters in the forest no longer posed a threat to him. With a speed that surpassed bullet speed five times, he was able to traverse the entire forest in one hour. He didn't find any strong monster even to scratch him. Eugene and Ramris stopped at the edge of the forest and sighed in frustration because he hadn't found a challenge worthy of him.

Suddenly, a strange person attacked Eugene with incredible speed, sending him flying several meters and crashing into the trees behind him. Ramris screamed in shock, "Eugene!"

With a sinister laugh, the attacker emerged from the trees, with white hair and wizarding clothes. He said in a mocking voice, "Finally, you've come out, Ramris."

"I am Jahil, the strongest wizard in the world," Jahil said with a wicked laugh. "I've been looking for you. If I bring you to Twilight, I will be rewarded. Hahaha! I've been waiting for this moment."

Ramris looked at Jahil seriously and unleashed her magical aura.

Eugene got up from the ground, drenched in his own blood. His left hand was missing, and he continued to bleed. The warnings from the were ringing in his mind.

"[Warning][Danger] [Danger] [Warning]," the continued sending alerts, confirming that the enemy that had appeared was very powerful.

Ramris ran to Eugene's side, her face filled with concern, and began treating him. Jahil was surprised by the survival of this human.

"Eugene, stay by my side, I will protect you," Ramris said to Eugene, knowing that the enemy was very strong.

Ramris hesitated because she had never fought before, but for Eugene, she would do anything.

Jahil smiled as he watched the situation with a wicked grin.

"Guide, do you have a way to defeat this?" Eugene said despairingly.

[There is... swap with me] the Guide replied.

"Alright, I trust you," Eugene said.

Without another word, Eugene's blue eyes turned red. His face became expressionless.

"Ramris, heal me no matter what happens, don't hesitate."

She complied with his words and attacked Jahil. It was a massacre in every sense of the word. Eugene was attacking, and a single blow from Jahil was enough to turn Eugene into human mush, but thanks to Ramris's healing and the skill, Eugene returned as good as new.

Blood and flesh scattered everywhere. The Guide continued to attack Jahil as if there were no tomorrow.

Eugene used his unique skill to increase his power with every blow he received. The more blows Jahil landed, the stronger Eugene became. But Jahil had more tricks up his sleeve; he launched a lightning spell at Eugene, sending him crashing down once again.

At the moment when it seemed that Eugene would not be able to rise again, Jahil released a wicked laugh. "Hahaha, is this all you have? I thought you were stronger than that."

With Ramris's magic and .

Eugene stood up again, a defiant smile on his face. "I'm not finished yet, Jahil."

"..."

As the battle intensified, Eugene's power increased significantly. Every strike from Jahil only enhanced the strength of and increased his resilience.

Jahil watched this scene with wide eyes, astonished by the mysterious power Eugene was using. He couldn't understand how Eugene continued to rise after every lethal blow he delivered.

"What is this madness?!" Jahil shouted. "No one can survive my attacks like this!"

But Eugene, or rather the Guide controlling him, didn't stop. Every blow he took only fueled his anger and power. Each time he fell, he returned stronger and faster.

The continued directing Eugene's attacks at Jahil as if there were no tomorrow. The more pain he endured, the stronger Eugene became, and the skill turned into a deadly weapon. Jahil was facing an opponent who wouldn't die, as if Eugene was transforming into an endless nightmare.

"Damn... Damn!" Jahil cursed as Eugene continued to retaliate stronger after every strike. Jahil attempted to attack Ramris, but he couldn't even touch her due to her magic. Ramris was incredibly strong, but her foolishness and innocence made her unfit for battle. Perhaps if she were alone, she could have easily escaped Jahil.

With his anger rising, Jahil stopped attacking and looked at Eugene, saying, "This body won't take much more. But I will return, and I will make your life miserable!" Jahil said loudly as his body began to disintegrate.

"Just wait!" Jahil shouted loudly before completely disappearing.

Eugene's eyes returned to their blue color, and with a sigh of relief, he collapsed, losing consciousness.

[All conditions have been met, Eugene has successfully evolved to (Enlightened)] rang the voice of the world.

And that was the last thing Eugene heard before he closed his eyes.

Ramris rushed to him quickly, starting to treat him again.

Ramris was carefully tending to Eugene's wounds, trying desperately to stop the bleeding and treat his severe injuries. "Eugene, keep staying with me! Don't leave us!" she said with concern.

[Condition stable, pain overwhelmed his mind], the Guide indicated.

With a sigh of relief, she began to move quickly toward the village, carrying Eugene in her arms.

Upon their arrival at the village, they were greeted by Sylvia, who sensed the battle. She had been anxiously waiting for Eugene and Ramris's return.

"What happened? Is he okay?" Sylvia asked with concern.

"Yes, but he needs rest," Ramris said as she gently laid Eugene on the bed.
