Chapter 9 - Sylvia El Ru 2

In the following days, Eugene continued his routine of training in magic with the , followed by combat training with Sylvia. She started crying heavily, regretting what she had done by bringing troubles to them.

Eugene felt tense and didn't know what to do after seeing her tears. He slowly approached her and tried to calm her down.

"Sylvia, don't worry. We are here to face any challenges together. I won't let anyone hurt you or your people," Eugene said in a gentle tone.

Sylvia looked at him with tear-filled eyes, and she began to calm down a little. "But what if my father comes? He is very powerful."

Eugene placed his hand on her shoulder and said confidently, "We will face him together."

"But you don't understand, my father is merciless. I ran away from him, but he won't stop until he finds me. I hate myself for bringing these troubles to you." Sylvia replied, trying to hold back her tears.

"Don't worry, if he really comes, I will kill him."

"Because I... am the strongest~" Eugene said confidently, ignoring that he had paraphrased a certain someone's quote.

After a few minutes, Sylvia finally calmed down.

Sylvia smiled shyly and wiped her tears. "Thank you, Eugene. I'm grateful to have you by my side."

Eugene and Ramris stopped at the edge of the forest and sighed in frustration because he hadn't found a challenge worthy of him.

Suddenly, a strange person attacked Eugene with incredible speed, sending him flying several meters and crashing into the trees behind him. Ramris screamed in shock, "Eugene!"

With a sinister laugh, the attacker emerged from the trees, with white hair and wizarding clothes. He said in a mocking voice, "Finally, you've come out, Ramris."

"I am Jahil, the strongest wizard in the world," Jahil said with a wicked laugh. "I've been looking for you. If I bring you to Twilight, I will be rewarded. Hahaha! I've been waiting for this moment."

Ramris looked at Jahil seriously and unleashed her magical aura.

Eugene got up from the ground, drenched in his own blood. His left hand was missing, and he continued to bleed. The warnings from the were ringing in his mind.

"[Warning][Danger] [Danger] [Warning]," the continued sending alerts, confirming that the enemy that had appeared was very powerful.

Ramris ran to Eugene's side, her face filled with concern, and began treating him. Jahil was surprised by the survival of this human.

"Eugene, stay by my side, I will protect you," Ramris said to Eugene, knowing that the enemy was very strong.

Ramris hesitated because she had never fought before, but for Eugene, she would do anything.

Jahil smiled as he watched the situation with a wicked grin.

"Guide, do you have a way to defeat this?" Eugene said despairingly.

Without another word, Eugene's blue eyes turned red. His face became expressionless.

"Ramris, heal me no matter what happens, don't hesitate."

She complied with his words and attacked Jahil. It was a massacre in every sense of the word. Eugene was attacking, and a single blow from Jahil was enough to turn Eugene into human mush, but thanks to Ramris's healing and the skill, Eugene returned as good as new.

Blood and flesh scattered everywhere. The Guide continued to attack Jahil as if there were no tomorrow.

Eugene used his unique skill to increase his power with every blow he received. The more blows Jahil landed, the stronger Eugene became. But Jahil had more tricks up his sleeve; he launched a lightning spell at Eugene, sending him crashing down once again.

At the moment when it seemed that Eugene would not be able to rise again, Jahil released a wicked laugh. "Hahaha, is this all you have? I thought you were stronger than that."

Eugene stood up again, a defiant smile on his face. "I'm not finished yet, Jahil."

But Eugene, or rather the Guide controlling him, didn't stop. Every blow he took only fueled his anger and power. Each time he fell, he returned stronger and faster.

The continued directing Eugene's attacks at Jahil as if there were no tomorrow. The more pain he endured, the stronger Eugene became, and the skill turned into a deadly weapon. Jahil was facing an opponent who wouldn't die, as if Eugene was transforming into an endless nightmare.

"Damn... Damn!" Jahil cursed as Eugene continued to retaliate stronger after every strike. Jahil attempted to attack Ramris, but he couldn't even touch her due to her magic. Ramris was incredibly strong, but her foolishness and innocence made her unfit for battle. Perhaps if she were alone, she could have easily escaped Jahil.

With his anger rising, Jahil stopped attacking and looked at Eugene, saying, "This body won't take much more. But I will return, and I will make your life miserable!" Jahil said loudly as his body began to disintegrate.

"Just wait!" Jahil shouted loudly before completely disappearing.

Eugene's eyes returned to their blue color, and with a sigh of relief, he collapsed, losing consciousness.

And that was the last thing Eugene heard before he closed his eyes.

Ramris rushed to him quickly, starting to treat him again.

Ramris was carefully tending to Eugene's wounds, trying desperately to stop the bleeding and treat his severe injuries. "Eugene, keep staying with me! Don't leave us!" she said with concern.

With a sigh of relief, she began to move quickly toward the village, carrying Eugene in her arms.

Upon their arrival at the village, they were greeted by Sylvia, who sensed the battle. She had been anxiously waiting for Eugene and Ramris's return.

"What happened? Is he okay?" Sylvia asked with concern.

"Yes, but he needs rest," Ramris said as she gently laid Eugene on the bed.
