Chapter 11 - The King

Months passed since Jahil's attack, and a full year since Eugene arrived in this world. During this period, the village witnessed a remarkable transformation.

The village evolved into a small city, thanks to Eugene's efforts and the support of the . The city became rich in resources due to the discovery of a new metal similar to iron but infused with mana. This metal, used to craft weapons, armor, and reinforce the city walls, significantly boosted the city's defenses and strength.

It was named (Iron Mana). However, due to the lack of skilled individuals in handling it, 40% of its quality was lost.

Eugene focused on developing the city using advice from the , which led to the emergence of an advanced trade system. Trade began to flourish, and stone tablets were introduced for writing and documenting information.

One day, Eugene held a meeting with Sylvia, Loren, and Paul in the throne hall. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a new plan to strengthen their alliances and expand the city's peace.

"I believe it would be beneficial to seek out creatures or races that live in peace and form alliances with them," Eugene said, expressing optimism about the plan. "This will help us strengthen our position and increase our power in a peaceful manner."

Everyone agreed with the idea and began drafting a search plan. They decided that Loren was the most suitable to lead this effort due to his extensive knowledge of the surrounding routes and areas.

"I'll start organizing the teams and preparing them for the search. We have many areas we can explore," Loren said, looking excited about the mission.

Days passed, and the teams began their adventure to explore the neighboring areas. They hoped to find creatures or races that shared their values of peace and cooperation.

But one day, Ramris surprised Eugene with alarming news. She entered the meeting room with a serious expression and quickly spoke, "Eugene, something serious is happening!" Ramris shouted, her eyes filled with worry. "A massive wave of monsters is on the way here. It seems they are heading straight for the city."

"And they will arrive within two days," Ramris added.

The faces of those present froze upon hearing the news. It was more dangerous than they had anticipated.

"What do we do now?" Paul asked, frowning in concern.

"First, we need to secure the city and ensure everyone's safety," Eugene said seriously.

The city was on high alert, with everyone working hard to secure their surroundings. They prepared to face the impending threat, and Eugene hoped they were ready enough to repel the attack and keep the city and its inhabitants safe.

As the monster wave approached the city, Eugene felt the need to reinforce the city's defenses and prepare the warriors to face the coming threat. Given the limited military force available, he had only 50 warriors, a very small number for such a significant threat.

With the help of the , Eugene devised a strategic plan to distribute the warriors. He decided to divide them into two main teams:

The first team, led by Sylvia, was tasked with scouting and counterattacking the approaching monsters. The goal of this team was to confront the monsters directly and reduce the pressure on the city before the monsters reached its walls.

Sylvia, thanks to her training and experience, was able to lead this team effectively, utilizing her skills in magic and combat. "We will move immediately and use everything we have to stop this attack before it gets close to the city," Eugene said firmly.

The second team was tasked with protecting the walls and the city itself. The goal of this team was to strengthen the defenses and ensure that the city was well-protected in case the monsters reached the walls.

The warrior teams began executing their plans immediately. The team led by Sylvia moved toward the location where they believed the monsters would soon appear. They adhered to reconnaissance and swift attack tactics, using their magical and tactical skills to reduce the number of monsters before they reached the city.

Deep within a dark cave, where the scent of death and blood pervaded the air, Jahil sat on a pile of monster corpses. Blood was splattered chaotically, covering the ground and walls, creating a scene of violence and destruction. Jahil's eyes, glowing with malice, stared into the darkness, as if watching an invisible horizon.

Suddenly, whispers emerged from the darkness, and a mysterious voice came from an unseen place. "It seems the great sorcerer is enjoying his time."

A shadowy figure appeared behind Jahil, without the sorcerer moving from his spot. "What are you doing here?" Jahil said in an emotionless voice, addressing the darkness behind him without looking.

"I have good news for you." The voice came again, this time clearer, carrying a hint of mystery.

"It seems my father is finally moving against them," the voice continued, implying that the message carried immense weight.

But at that moment, the cave shook unexpectedly. The ground and walls trembled violently, as if supernatural forces were sweeping through the place. Jahil rose slowly from his seat, drawing a spear covered in blood, which seemed capable of killing dozens of humans in an instant.

"If only he didn't prevent me from attacking them…" Jahil said aloud, his voice filled with anger and resentment. His voice reflected immense rage, indicating that he was on the verge of taking a potentially catastrophic action.

Waves of rage and hatred surged in Jahil's eyes, revealing his determination to achieve his goals. Despite being restrained, his anger was growing, and the intent for revenge seeped into all his actions.

As the cave's tremors intensified, charged energy spread through the air, a manifestation of the power brewing in Jahil's heart. It was clear that this being would not stand idly by, and that he was preparing for a significant confrontation or battle, considering the impact of his father's sudden movement.

Deep within the Dragon Palace, Veldanava, the true dragon and legendary entity, watched the scene. His golden eyes sparkled with rare excitement as he observed Eugene and his companions' struggles and successes.

"This is becoming more interesting," Veldanava said with a broad smile, his deep voice filled with curiosity and anticipation.

He visualized the emerging city, preparing to face the approaching wave of monsters. He saw Eugene, Sylvia, and the others organizing defenses and readying their forces. Despite the challenges they faced, their morale was high, and their determination unwavering.

Veldanava paused for a moment, reflecting on the impact of Eugene's presence in this world. Although he was a great and controlling entity, he felt a sense of respect for this human who challenged the odds and proved himself time and again. Perhaps there was something special about this human worth watching and contemplating.

"Let's see how far this young man can go…" Veldanava whispered to himself, then added, "There may be a need for personal intervention in the future if things continue to develop this way."

Veldanava closed his eyes and leaned back in his massive throne, surrounded by glowing magical lights and ancient books brimming with knowledge and wisdom. He awaited with bated breath what the coming days would bring in terms of developments and surprises.

In a distant place shrouded in mystery, a man sat on a grand throne surrounded by enigmatic shadows and dim lights. The atmosphere was charged with a strange energy that filled the space, as if the world itself awaited this entity's move with bated breath.

"….." The man whispered to himself, opening his blue eyes that gleamed with a magical brilliance. Those eyes reflected infinite power and knowledge, as if they were a window into the soul of this mysterious man.

"Things have finally gotten serious," the man said with a satisfied smile, as if he had been expecting this development for a long time.

The man stood from his throne, stretching his tall, strong body, and cast a final glance at the surrounding space. The place resembled another world, filled with secrets and dangers, but this did not shake his calm or confidence.

With a simple gesture of his hand, he closed his eyes again, as if locking himself within his own world to prepare for what was coming. He sat back on his throne, leaving behind an aura of mystery and anticipation.

"I will watch closely," he whispered to himself, then added with a soft laugh, "Let's see how they handle what's coming."

Quietly, the man returned to a state of contemplation, ready to face what lay ahead, with the secret of the world in his blue eyes.
