Davian moved swiftly through the packhouse, radiating authority as he entered the courtyard. The warriors had already gathered, and their attention snapped to him as soon as he arrived. Their expressions were serious, focused; they knew that whatever was happening was of significant importance if it required the Alpha's presence.
"Report," Davian said as he looked at Marvin, standing at the front.
Marvin straightened, his gaze steady. "There's been rogue movement along the eastern border. It seems organized—more than just a random patrol. They've been lingering near the boundary, and scouts think they might be checking out our defenses."
"We're not taking any chances. I want patrol units doubled, and we're going to confront them tonight. Gather the warriors, and we move out in ten minutes."
"Yes, Alpha." Marvin nodded and turned on his heel, already shouting orders to the other warriors.
