Roseanne decided there was no point in trying to sleep any longer so she decided to just get ready for the day. After washing her face, she stared at her reflection in the mirror. She forcing a smile onto her lips.
She couldn't let herself dwell on the dream any longer. It was probably just a dream, and she didn't need to overthink it. It was time to focus on something else—something that could lift her spirits.
And that's when the idea struck her. She would cook breakfast for Davian.
She remembered his compliment about her cooking. The memory brought a warmth to her chest, and she couldn't help but smile. It wasn't much, but it was something she could do for him.
Roseanne then changed into a comfortable dress, and quietly made her way down the hallway, her steps careful so as not to make any noise. The kitchen was on the far side of the house, and she hoped to reach it without waking anyone.
