Fennel took a seat at the head of the dining table for the evening meal. To the right of him was Anise and across from her was Lily. He could sense the princess felt a bit embarrassed for her actions earlier in the day, as she had a hard time looking him in the eye.
Oliver, seated further down the table, observed the princess with a frown on his face. He found it annoying; she had already tried to seduce the king, though he couldn't really blame her with how attractive the young man was.
His ears twitched slightly as he smirked to himself, contemplating how he had triumphed over her for the king's virginity. It was something she could never have, to say the least.
"So, Princess Lily," Anise began, "have you thought about the wedding dress design?"
"Oh, um, not exactly," the princess replied, glancing briefly at the former queen.
"Well, we'll have to do something about it. A special event like this needs a lot of preparation."
