This was a great opportunity for Axel as he wanted going out to lure back his victims. He needed another group of ghouls as the first set had not yet return. Axel is no king, he was born and brought up in the poorest part of one of the villages in the supernatural realm. The first time his powers manifested was when he was ten years old, he was brought up in an orphanage and at the age of ten, if you are not lucky enough to get a foster parent, you will be thrown out to fend for yourself as the orphanage was greatly crowded. Axel grow up in the orphanage as a punch bag for the rest of the kids, especially the ones that were more healthy and powerful than him. He was maltreated by almost everyone including the nurses there, except Molly. The only girl he ever loved. Growing up, Molly was the only person who ever tried to stand up for him and protect him. But she couldn't do much herself as she was just a year older than Axel. Once, when the were in the dining hall, it was a hot afternoon and they were served lunch, a child whose name was Cole as usual came to take Axel's lunch when the nurses were out. Axel who was so hungry cause Cole already took his breakfast in the morning tried to put up a fight with Cole. Cole was stronger and physically fit than Axel and so he beat the hell out of Axel. Seeing this, Molly got up and used her fork to stab Cole on the back repeatedly till the nurses arrived. Cole was taken to the healers while Molly and Axel were wiped ten times each with the slave whip and locked in a room with no food or water for a whole day. When they were let out the following day, they were sent to clean and mob every nook and crooks of the orphanage before they were given food. Am sorry Molly, because of me you were wiped and starve by the head nurse, am so sorry, Axel repeatedly apologize to Molly as tears rolled down his cheeks while they were cleaning. Molly used her clothes to clean his eyes dry and left a perk on his eyes. Don't apologize to me, we are all we have and you would have done excatly the same for me if I was in your condition wouldn't you?
Axel nodded his head, I promise I will make it up to you Molly, you won't regret having me as a friend.
From today, let's look out for each other and defend each other in any way we can, no matter the consequences, promise? Molly asked, showing his pinky finger and Axel also promised too by joining his pinky finger with her's and made a pinky swear. And from that day onward, the both fought and protected each other till the day Molly was ten years old and wasn't adopted. Axel was nine and he knew what would happen to Molly so he tried to prevent it by going into the village to look for a foster parents who might be willing to adopt Molly. Unknowingly to them almost all the people in the village know about both of them and the troubles the caused the orphanage and so no one want to adopt Molly. Coming back to the orphanage, Axel met with a beautiful lady who offered to adopt Molly but she can't come into the orphanage as she is a dark witch and the nurses would never give up a child to a dark witch, so they made a deal. Axel was to bring Molly to the forest when she was thrown out and the witch will take her in. The witch promise to care for Molly till he was also out of the orphanage and join them in the witches home.
Axel immediately agreed to this deal as in his desperate mind and fear of letting Molly get captured by slavers he really didn't think that giving her to the witch is much worst than slavery. When Molly was out of the orphanage, she hid by a tree in the forest and waited for Axel as he told her he found a Foster mother for her. Molly was so excited and couldn't wait to meet her new mother and so Axel took her to the witch. And return to the orphanage.
He was so lonely and always brutally beaten up by other kids. But he was happy as he know his time will come soon, he will be ten in a few moons and he will go to the witch and be with Molly again. What he didn't know was that the dark witch had stole the young life of Molly in order to maintain her looks and power.
When he was ten, he was so excited to leave and literally ran away from the orphanage when the head nurse gave him his freedom. He went to the forest and looked for the witches lair, but couldn't find it. There was a big tree right in this spot that open up after the witch knock on it three times, he thought to himself. He bagan knocking every tree nearby in hopes that one of the trees would open up and the witch will welcome him with Molly by her side with open arm's but it didn't happen. He spent the whole day and night in the forest knocking on tress and crying profusely but the magic didn't work.
Axel didn't know what to do or where else to go so he sat down close to a tree and let the sweet worlds of sleep carry him away.
After laying there till midnight, he was woken up by the sound of Molly calling out his name and so he opend his eyes and saw his Molly standing there and stretch out her hand to him, unknowingly to him he began walking towards her and was led deeper into the forest. He was lured by another witch who wanted to sap his life force and leave him there to rot.
