The next morning, violet arrived at the castle in a fine carriage which displays wealth and power, she was let into the castle by the guards who didn't question her much as she had her papers complete and her appearance said she was no ordinary woman.
She was just in time to meet the early morning council meeting with the king. Axel sat on the throne half listening to all the complains laid before him by the council members of the things going on in the kingdom, the weaking of the barrier, the selling of black magic items in the general market, the slave trade, the kidnapping and the missing children who disappears every night never to be found again.
All this things are the complains the council members discuss with him every morning and just like every other day, he sat there half asleep and half awake.
Violet walked into the throne room after the guards announced her arrival, she walked in with every step displaying power, authority, wealth and nobility. Her presence alone caused every eye in the room to look towards her and she held her head high as she stroll towards Axel.
Who is that? Whispered each of the council members to one another, and no one knows the answer cause she was not recognized by any one.

But my king, it is against the law to have a woman as a council member in the court of Lucia, it has never been done, I fear the other kingdoms will see this as a weakness and consider you unfit for the throne. Said one of the council members while the others nodded in agreement to what he said.
Who said she is a council member? Axel cut in. The Rysine Valley's had always been a loyal house to the crown right from the beginning days of Lucia, the have remaind a honorable house and well respected noble family. I have been betrayed by half of this court once, I will not take the chances again.

The council members were not settled with the fact that the king will be taking advice from a Woman, even though she is from a noble house, a well respected one, she is still a woman and women should never be given such high ranks in Lucia.
The meeting went on with the council members reporting issues upon issues and trying to find a solution to it.
But just like before now, they weren't able to come up with anything reasonable as almost all their ideas were dismissed by Axel.
Now that Axel has a dark witch working for him, he felt he was one step closer to his goal, only if he knows that he hasn't even scratch the surface of what is yet to come.
In the afternoon, violet was getting a tour from the head maid as she wanted to familiarize herself in the palace. She wanted to know every nook and crooks, every hidden passage and where they lead to.
Violet might be working for Axel now but she had her own plans, first is to make sure no other supernatural can cross over, other than her brothers and sisters. The dark witches. This way, she will over throw Axel in no time and the dark witches will rule over the human realm. She will be their queen.
