Chapter 41 - CHAPTER 44

Standing by the window of his room, Axel observed violet and the maid carefully, he looked at her with pure hatred and anger for her and her kind. Molly was everything he had in this world, she was sweet and kind and beautiful with cascading dark hair and larg puppy eye balls, she loved tieing her hair in a ponytail and preferred dressing as a boy with trousers and shirts rather than gowns.

She was different from all other girls, she was not a princess style girl who spent all her time in the wash room and the rest of the day dolling up in their room . Instead, she preferred setting up traps in the bushes for animals and digging rabbits holes, she was a natural hunter with kin ears and fast reflexes.

She only needed a parent that she might grow up with and a loveing family.

How the dark witch sucked her dry, her beautiful white skin wrinkled and her cute eyes sagged like a decaying animal.

I swear, they will pay for what they did to you Molly, I will not stop, I will not rest till every dark witch is eliminated from this earth. An eye for an eye, only life can pay for life and i will make sure every last witch pays with their life for the life the took, for the years the stole from you, my sweet Molly.

Axel missed her dearly and wouldn't stop imagining the life they would have had if only one person adopted them as their own.

Axel did unspeakable things after the dead of Molly and lived an unforgivable life which he still justified as his way of survival.

The lake in the village had so many dead bodies of children and adults resting at the bottom. That is why so many fishes were always cought there. The villagers thought it was a blessing from Gaia to them.

Only if they had dived deeper, then they would have have found out that they fishes were only there to feast on the dead bodies that Axel offered.

Soon, violet felt eyes on her, with murderous intentions and looked up towards the window to see who such malice came from, but Axel was fast as he turned away from the window before she could get a glimpse of him.

Violet shook her head and kept walking.

Why don't I take over from here, Axel suddenly appeared behind violet and the head maid. After all, the countesses here is my honorable assistant, I think we should get to know each other more while I show you around.

who else knows the castle better than the king, violet said as he stretch her for Axel to hold while they continue walking in the garden. The head maid quickly bowed and left.

I don't think your council members like me very much, said violet with an unbordered face.

They don't have a choice, I am the law now. Axel replied.

When are we getting the binding spell done?

Such dedication to your work, am impressed, Axel replied smiling. It shall be done tonight, I hope you are ready for this.

I should be asking you that question, once we bind our souls together, there is no unbinding it. We have to work together, after all, we both need the same thing. A place we can call our own. A Home.

Yes.... yes, spear me the sermon. I have a hidden cave in the palace, it was there before I got here. It seems like the human king had connections with the white witches. All the things you need for a witch lair. This will be our secret lab. I hope you find it fitted for use.

Great, I was beginning to wonder were I will be using for the spells, but it seems you have everything covered, violet replied. Till evening then, the sun is so hot I can't stand the heat, I must retire to my room now else my skin will melt from my bones. It is one of the consequences we dark must endure for choosing our dark side.

I understand you clearly, I once lived with a dark witch myself.

Really? Tell me all about it

It is a story for another day my dear countess, please go in now, I don't want you dieing on me so soon. It will be such a waste.

Violet smiled lovingly at Axel as he kissed the back of her hands before letting her go.

Axel kept walking till he got to the cave entrance, he looked around, making sure that not one soul was present before he drop blood on the walls to reveal the cave entrance.

He walked in and saw the guard wide awake and confused. When the guard saw him, he was immediately frightened and knelt down.

My king, he greeted.

How come you be here, Axel asked the guard with a supprised voice. This cave is quite hidden and only known to the royal family members.

Apologies my king, I found it while I was on watch in these part of the castle, I walked in and looked around, I had no idea, I should never have entered.

So how come you still be here and not leave.

Axel asked the guard, enjoying his delima.

The guard didn't know how to answer this cause he had been looking for the entrance to the cave since he woke up and there was no sign of Sophie with him. He kept his head low and didn't know how to answer this question.

I beg you your majesty, please forgive this lowly servant and spear my life.....

Your life, axel cut in, that is quite what I want right now.

You see, this cave is never to be known to others and if by mistake anyone aside from a royal blood finds it, such person will have to die, to protect the secret.

What did you find in here?

Nothing your majesty, the guard said with great fear for his life, shuttering , I touched nothing. Please, spear me and I promise to be indebted to your services for the rest of my life, I shall carry this secret with me to my grave and I will be a living testimony of your undying mercy. I will do anything for you your majesty.

Anything? Asked Axel.

Yes anything for you my king.

Such words, those are no ordinary words, are you sure you can, cause I have just the task for you.

Yes my king, I can, just name it.

Hold those words and don't forget them. Very soon you shall know what I need of you, but till then you can't leave this cave. You will stay here till you have honoured the words of your mouth and then I will let you go with your life. I will be back with food and water.

Axel walked out the cave smiling and congratulating himself for a job well done.
