When they finished their meal, they decided to take a walk through the nearby park. The late afternoon sun cast a golden glow over the trees, and the air was filled with the sounds of children playing and birds singing.
"This place hasn't changed much," Megan said, looking around with a smile.
"Yeah, it still feels the same," Anthony agreed. "A lot of memories here."
They walked in comfortable silence for a while, the tension of the recent argument still lingered.
"I've missed this," Megan said suddenly, breaking the silence. "Just being able to talk and spend time with you."
"Me too," Anthony admitted. "It feels...right."
Megan looked at him, her eyes searching his. "Do you ever wonder what might have happened if things had been different?"
"Sometimes," Anthony said honestly. "But I try not to dwell on the past too much."
