When one of the elves had a curved dagger at the edge of my throat I truly did not know how I was going to get out of this situation.
I do not think that relying on my stuff of Lucky Ancestr was worth it because I might get bad luck instead, and get killed by these elves.
Then one of the elves that were on the left side of the main elf that had the dagger against my throat you around to my back, and they disconnected my greatsword from it.
As the weapon left my back I was able to feel a great burden leave my body, and despite this, I felt almost naked without my weapon.
Since my only other active skill, Guardian only worked once a day, I probably should save it for an absolute emergency.
Then a second elf came on the opposing side of the first one and started to remove my armor.
After this was done I only had on my white undershirt and my brown pants.
"There, prince; our prisoner has one of his gear removed." The second one said as he bowed to the leader.
The leader of the elves then moved the curved blades from my throat and found my hands with a very sturdy rope.
"Why is a miserable dwarf invading our forest?"
I got a good look at their armor and noticed that they were all wearing dark green colored armor that seemed light but also durable as well.
All of them wore this type of armor except for the ones that were using Bose, seem to wear dark brown colored armor, most likely to bend into the trees around them.
"I teleported to the wrong location". I said to him as he started to drag me deeper into the forest.
"Truly expect me to believe that you got here by any other way other than walking or riding. Yeah right; as if a dwarf will have access to teleportation or warp magic". The leader said to me as if he did not believe me at all.
I was dragged through the forest for about an hour until he arrived at an area that had a clearing with a magical barrier surrounding it. This area was some kind of settlement for these elves.
"I have returned from the hunt with an unexpected bonus. I have captured a dwarf". The leader said as he yanked me hard enough from behind him that I instantly lunged in front of him in one swift motion.
"Look at that; you did find a very rare catch on this journey. Did you also get the main thing that you went out for?". A very elderly elf that was wearing a mage-like robe said.
"Yes; I did end up also catching a decent amount of wild boar today for the feast tonight".
"All right, as long as you do not displease the elder with any of the decisions you make." The elf mage sent to my captor before he started to chant words I could not understand.
After he finished speaking, he ended up disabling the barrier, which gave the entire group access to the village.
The archers did not even touch the ground they jumped from tree to tree after the barrier was deactivated.
Then I was dragged through the village, and constantly mocked by all of the elves that I passed them.
The area was well-kept and looked quite beautiful as I passed by, but I did not even have time to fully examine the scenery around me.
The only thing that I was able to notice was the fact that they had some kind of fighting arena as well as living quarters before I had reached the end of my journey.
I noticed that the area that I was now in was not as well designed or kept as the rest of the city.
In this section of the city, I was able to notice that there was only one way in or out of this massive tree. They must have set this up as some type of jail.
The first thing that I noticed when I was being pulled into the prison area was the fact that there was an elf sitting at a desk in front of a massive tree that was at least fifty feet in diameter.
"This dwarf is your responsibility now, and you must ensure that he does not cause any trouble with the other prisoners". My captor said as he pulled me towards the elf behind the desk.
"All right; this stubborn dwarf will not cause any trouble while he is at my prison".
"Good; because you do not want to enrage my father if you can help it."
As the guard took ownership of me and threw me into one of the open sounds, I noticed that I was not the only one there. The prisoners ranged from an elderly dwarf to a very tall male human. I even saw a captive elf that had dark black skin; so it must have been a member of the dark elf species.
The cells around me were made out of the tree that I was currently standing in. It all seemed to flow together naturally as if it was not manipulated very much in creating this prison.
The guard closed the door area of the tree and locked it with a wooden key after he unbound me and threw me inside.
After I was inside I felt a certain level of uneasiness wash over me since I was confined inside of an area that was very unfamiliar to me.
"So why are all of you in here?" I asked the different people who were in the prison.
The main reason I did this was to help me get my attention away from the current fear that surrounded me.
"I was captured in a battle over a piece of high-value land". The human prisoner said to me.
"You fought over a simple piece of land. What is so valuable that you would have to fight another race over it?"
"There is a mine that contained iron ore, steel ore, and mithril as well.
The elves were claiming it since the mithril can only be manipulated through the use of Elf magic.
We wanted the mine because we needed more steel and iron to help us get ready for the next war that we were going to have".
"That makes sense". I told him before I swapped my focus towards the dwarven prisoner.
The dwarven prisoner seems to be in a massively depressive state. This told me that they probably broke his will over the long period that they have kept him as a captive.
"So what about..."
"I have nothing to say to you. They will begin by breaking your spirit in unknown ways. If that does not make you submit to their commands then you will tortured as a prisoner of war until they break your mind.
So, as I said, I have nothing to say to you". The elderly dwarf said before he turned around and went far enough into his cell to where I could not see him.
I need to remind myself that I am not a normal citizen of this world. This will always make it harder for me to adapt to the philosophies and customs of this world, but I cannot allow these elves to break me in any way.
I chose to lay down and get all the sleep that I could for the night because whatever they had in store for me was going to tax me somehow.
I could feel the uneasy urge that whatever decisions that I made tomorrow would not just shape my life, but possibly the fate of all of those around me.
