Chereads / My sweet Angel / Chapter 26 - His First Lie

Chapter 26 - His First Lie

He wanted to tell her that she was his cousin, but he didn't care about her. It didn't matter to him whether she knew that he was in a relationship with a new girl or not. He saw her walking away, not caring about Angel, who showed signs of discomfort on her face. She asked Mark: "Can I ask you a question?"

He realized that she was going to ask him about that girl, so he said with a smile: "She is a colleague of mine at the club."

She frowned and said: "What did she mean by what she said a little while ago?"

He answered her, shrugging his shoulders with a feigned indifference: "As you know, I participate in the equestrian race's. and I won one time, so I have many male and female admirers here at the club."

Angel's simple experience with the world around her made her believe him without questioning his words even though her feeling of discomfort remained with her when she realized that there were many female admirers around him. As for Mark, he said as he got up from his seat: "Olivia is back, I'm going to go now."

He said it and left the place and left behind a heart longing for his return and eyes waiting to see him again.

The look of distress was clear in Olivia's eyes as she approached the table which Angel was sitting. both of them were thinking about someone who would distract her thoughts from each other and the entire outside world and Olivia found herself exhaling forcefully as she sat at the table and said as if she's talking to herself: "Why doesn't he understand?"

Angel turned to her and said in wonder: "Are you talking to me?"

Olivia said as she pursed her lips and leaned her back on the seat: "No, I'm talking to myself."

Angel smiled and said: "Who is this that you want to understand?"

Olivia ignored her question and said: "How about we leave the club and go home? "

Angel with confusion in her voice said: "It's still early."

Olivia said, waving her arm: "Didn't you say that you have lessons that you haven't finished yet? Let's go back and finish them."

"It's okay, I can do them later." Angel said quietly.

Olivia : "you shouldn't delay your studies for much longer."

Angel looked at her quietly for a few seconds then said: "okay."

Olivia quickly took out her mobile phone from her bag and called the driver to come to the club. Meanwhile, Angel said to her after she finished the call: "Aren't you going to tell Mark or Liam that we are leaving?"

Olivia said, raising her eyebrows in surprise: "Why should we?"

"They might get angry if they found out that we left without telling them."

Olivia laughed and said: "Indeed, they will be angry if we tell them and cut off their training. Leave them alone."

Then, she quickly noticed the cup of juice in front of her and asked, "By the way, whose cup is this?"

Angel looked at the cup of juice, which Mark only drank a little of, and then said: "It is Mark's."

"was he here?"

Angel nodded her head positively, Olivia said in surprise: "He came here to sit with you and left training. What a fickle young man."

Angel looked at her in confusion and didn't understand why Olivia described Mark as fickle, so she voiced her thoughts out, saying: "What do you mean that he is a fickle young man?"

Olivia said sarcastically: "Just a week ago, he almost quarreled with me in front of everyone in the club because I asked him to leave training and come and take me to one of the sections."

"Maybe he was busy at the time."

Olivia shook her head in denial and then said: "Rather, he hates helping everyone."

Angel said with doubt and worry: "I don't think Mark is like this."

Olivia said, smiling with bitter smile: "You don't know him the way I know him."

Wonder appeared in Angel's eyes, and before Olivia could continue, her cell phone's ringing sound rose, and she answered it, saying: "Hello. yes, wait a little and we will come right away."

She hung up the phone and said calmly: "come on the driver has arrived."

" this fast."

" He was close to the place, Let's go."

Angel didn't find a reason to not leave, so she said as she moved strands of hair from her forehead: "Okay."

Olivia quickly got up from her seat and pushed Angel's seat, heading outside the club. Angel said with a faint smile at that moment: "Will we come to the club tomorrow?"

"If you want." Olivia said with a smile.
