Chereads / My sweet Angel / Chapter 32 - Unnamed

Chapter 32 - Unnamed

Angel yawned as she woke up from her sleep at the sound of Charlotte's voice. She straightened her up and said, traces of sleepiness still evident in her voice: "Have you prepared breakfast?"

Charlotte nodded. Then Angel asked her again as she exhaled sharply: "There is no one at home as usual. right?"

A smile appeared on Charlotte's lips and she said: "No, miss Olivia didn't leave today."

Angel said with astonishment mixed with happiness: "She didn't leave? Really? but why?"

Angel continued with concern: "Maybe she is sick."

Charlotte said, shaking her head in denial: "No, she is not sick. But I heard her telling her brother that she didn't have any important lectures today."

Angel said quickly: "Then go to her and tell her that I want to have breakfast with her."

Charlotte smiled and said as she placed the wheelchair close to Angel's bed: "Okay, I will, miss."

Charlotte said this and left the room.. while Angel quickly got up from her bed to sit in her wheelchair and moved in her seat to search in that closet for clothes to wear. it was not long before she left the room after taking one last look at herself in the mirror.

In the hall, she quickly moved her wheelchair until she reached the bottom of the stairs. She then saw Charlotte descending from the stairs and saying quietly: "Miss Olivia told me that she would change her clothes and come down immediately."

A wide smile spread across Angel's lips. she felt happy that Olivia would eat breakfast with her today. Finally, She would have someone to talk to, instead of the complete silence that took over the entire table until she lost her appetite for eating anything.

At that moment, Charlotte said as she approached Angel: "Is there anything you're craving, miss?"

Angel shook her head in denial, and Charlotte said as she was about to leave: "I will go put the breakfast dishes on the table then."

Angel didn't comment on her statement, but rather looked at the top of the stairs, raising her head slightly, waiting for Olivia to come down from her room and...

(What are you doing here?)

Angel flinched in fear and turned to the owner of the phrase and said, salivating, "Mark."

He was standing about two meters behind her and said with a smile as he approached her: "Yes, It's me. Don't be scared, I'm not a ghost."

Angel said wonderingly: "But Charlotte told me that there was no one in the house except Olivia."

Mark said as he moved towards the stairs: "I came back from outside because I forgot to take my wallet with me."

He turned to her and continued, "But what are you doing here at the stairs?"

"Waiting for Olivia," Angel said with a smile.

Mark said, shrugging his shoulders: "Why are you waiting for her here? why didn't you go to her."
