Chereads / My sweet Angel / Chapter 28 - Reflecting

Chapter 28 - Reflecting

Olivia closed her eyes as she immersed herself in deep thought, occupying her mind from everything around her from the time she got into the car until she left the club. She felt that her behavior was wrong. And what she did was wrong.

She shouldn't have reacted like this. He doesn't know that she She loves him. That's why it's not his fault if he doesn't feel for her. It would have been better for her to be patient and hide her feelings. at least until she succeeded in moving his feelings towards her, but how?.

She has tried repeatedly to hint to him, but she can't do more than that. She can't declare her love for him like this openly. girls, with thire gentle and shy nature, should wait for the young man to take the step first.

(Olivia, are you okay?)

Olivia opened her eyes to pull herself out of her thoughts and turned to Angel. Then she said, exhaling sharply: "Yes, What did you say?"

Angel said, pointing to her face: "You were frowning."

"I was just thinking about something."

Angel scorned her saliva and dared to say: "About.. Lucas?"

Olivia turned to her, as if she had never imagined that Angel would understand what was on her mind. She said sharply, despite herself: "What does Lucas have to do with this matter?"

Angel said, shrugging her shoulders: "I don't know, but your last conversation with him at the club made me think you were thinking about him."

Olivia said, turning her face away in distress: "I never think about him, and I never would."

She knew that she was a liar. Not only did she lie to Angel, but she also lied to herself. She hoped that he would disappear from her thoughts completely. But how could do that when she had loved him for years?

Mark said as he pointed to Liam from afar and called out loudly: "Liam, aren't you leaving?"

Liam signaled a "no" with his palm. Mark sighed and said as he walked away from him: "Do what ever you want."

He moved away from the place as he roamed around the club. At this particular time, the club had few visitors, due to the cold weather and the breezes that made bodies shiver after darkness fell over the city. This allowed Mark to roam as he pleased without caring about this or that. He walked for a long time until he suddenly stopped at the club cafeteria his eyes turned to the table where Angel sat today and he remembered the conversation that had taken place between them today.

He remembered his sarcastic statement to her about her hearing the sound of the wind and he found himself closing his eyes. He left room for the sounds of the wind and the breeze to creep into his ears. Suddenly, he opened his eyes with amusement. He smiled to himself sarcastically, saying: "What's the matter with you, Mark? Did your cousin push you to do this? Didn't you accuse her of being crazy for doing that? Why did you doing it then? Are you crazy too?"

He shook his head and his sarcastic smile did not leave his lips, and then he said as he walked away from the place: "Maybe I wanted to feel what she feels while she is in this situation."

He didn't say more. Rather, he quickly left the place in his car and headed home. But a phone call made him furrow his brows in thought as he looked at the number for a moment. And as soon as he did, he exhaled sharply and said: "my God. doesn't this girl get tired? never?"

He replied, "Yes, Emma. What do you want?"

She said quickly: "Hey, Mark. How are you?"

He said coldly: "Fine."

Emma said: "Why don't you answer my calls? I've been calling you since morning?"

He said in boredom: "Tell me what you want?"

She said please: "I want to see you. Where are you?"

He sighed heavily and said: "I left the club and I'm on my way home. Maybe tomorrow. See you."

He quickly ended the call. He knows that it was his mistake from the beginning to form a relationship with any girl. But despite this, he still continues with this mistake. He doesn't promise anything to any of the girls he knows. Just a passing friendship and nothing more. but Emma is the only one who is still clinging to him and insists on following him wherever he went. It is not his fault if her feelings go beyond friendship. He made the matter clear to her from the beginning. she is the one who let her feelings spread until she reached where she is now.
