The beach on O'Hara Island was bathed in golden sunlight as Kai and Arkan sprawled on the sand after devouring a sea monster until their bellies were comically swollen.
The air was filled with the scent of the sea and the fire they had lit to cook the monster, while the sound of waves provided a soothing background, adding a touch of serenity and calm.
Kai and Arkan were unable to move, their stomachs were so full it hurt. Kai felt as if every muscle in his body had completely relaxed.
Arkan looked at Kai with a hint of boredom and said with curiosity, "We've been here for a long time, and you still haven't used your remaining wishes. I'm starting to get bored."
Kai turned to Arkan, a thought finally coming to mind. He had been considering a wish for a while: "I've been thinking of something that might help me a lot if it happens."
Arkan, with his cheerful and enthusiastic spirit, replied, "What is it? Just make a wish and you'll see the magic."
Kai smiled and began to think out loud, explaining his idea that had struck him: "What if I had a system that helps me publish and manage my manga in every aspect?"
The conversation between Kai and Arkan continued for a while, with Kai excitedly detailing his idea. He wanted a system that could manage everything from drawing to publishing, promotion to distribution.
He wanted this system to be able to execute his ideas with precise details, helping him achieve his dream of publishing a manga that would make waves in this world.
Kai eagerly asked how many wishes he had left, and Arkan replied with a wide smile: "Since we've moved to a new world, the wishes have reset to three again."
The surprise and joy were evident on Kai's face. "Three wishes? That's great!" Kai exclaimed as new ideas began flooding his mind.
Arkan was impressed by Kai's unique idea and praised it: "That's a great idea, something no one else would think of. Let's make it happen now."
Kai prepared to make his wish. He took out the lantern containing Arkan and clearly wished: "I wish for a system that helps me publish and manage my manga in every aspect."
Moments passed, and nothing happened. Kai was surprised because the first time he made a wish, it happened very quickly. But now, there was a strange delay.
Kai waited, the scene filled with tension and curiosity. After a while, familiar blue smoke began to rise from his body, making Kai so happy that his molars showed. The blue smoke rose until it could be seen from miles away on the island.
Kai's happiness was indescribable. The smoke continued to rise until it suddenly disappeared, and nothing appeared in front of him. It was puzzling and somewhat chaotic. Arkan stood by, watching the scene without saying a word.
Kai was annoyed and turned to Arkan, who was sitting on a large rock nearby, and asked angrily, "What's happening? Where is the system I asked for?"
Arkan reassured him, saying, "The system is now preparing itself, and soon it will appear in front of you, ready to work."
Kai waited patiently, but after a while, he started to feel severe pain in his head. He fell to the ground from the intensity of the pain.
The pain was so intense that Kai wished he hadn't asked for this thing in the first place. Soon, the pain gradually subsided. Kai lay motionless on the ground, and before he could say a word, Arkan told him that the system was ready to work.
Kai couldn't believe what was happening. He just smiled. His feelings were mixed; he was angry a moment ago, and now he was overwhelmingly happy.
He turned to Arkan, "I'm sorry, I yelled at you earlier. I don't know what's happening to me exactly."
"Don't worry about it, I've gotten used to these things a long time ago," Arkan said nonchalantly.
Then Arkan informed him, "I've adjusted something in the system. When you told me what you wanted, I added some features."
"The system will help you a lot. All you have to do is draw what you want, and it will do everything else. It relies only on your imagination, and you can modify and add as you wish."
Kai's joy was indescribable; he had never felt this much happiness before. He muttered to himself, "If what Arkan told me is true, this will be magic like never before."
Kai began his preparations to work on the manga he aspired to publish. He gathered his tools and papers, ready to start working. He knew this manga would create chaos in this already chaotic world.
After a few moments, a small screen appeared before Kai's eyes, like the screens in science fiction movies. It was astonishing and strange at the same time for Kai, who was surprised by this thing that Arkan hadn't mentioned. Quickly, he turned to Arkan again and asked him what was happening.
Arkan told him that what was appearing in front of him couldn't be seen by others; even he couldn't see what Kai was talking about.
Kai, who was starting to get used to the situation, soon saw a sentence in his mind, as if someone was speaking inside his head.
[The system is ready to work.]
[The system will do anything the user requests, from copying and editing to publishing.]
Kai hesitated for a moment before asking, "What do you mean by publishing?"
[The system is programmed to fulfill the user's wishes. It can copy, print, share information, and even publish anything the user desires based on their commands and imagination.]
Kai pondered for a moment on the capabilities of this new system, then looked at Arkan and asked, "What's the next step?"
Arkan smiled and said, "Now, it's time for the actual test. Ask the system to do something, and you'll see for yourself the power of the technology we have."...
Kai sat in his seat, staring at the small screen that appeared before his eyes. Though it was strange and unfamiliar, he felt an overwhelming curiosity to explore what this system could offer.
"Alright, let's see what this system can do," Kai thought. He hesitated for a moment before realizing that since he was dealing with the system for the first time, he wouldn't be able to control it just with his imagination. So, he decided to give it verbal commands, as Arkan had told him he could.
Kai gathered his thoughts and said, "Create paper the size of a regular book, but make it so that it can't burn or be destroyed, no matter what anyone tries."
After a moment, Kai heard words in his mind: [Your request has been recorded and will be ready shortly. Extend your hand forward and wait.]
And that's exactly what Kai did. He extended his hand in front of him and waited. Moments later, a stack of mysterious paper appeared in his hand. It was magical to him. How it happened and where it came from, no one knew.
But it had indeed happened. At that moment, Kai was amazed and believed every word Arkan had said about the system. He muttered to himself, "This is incredible, truly amazing."
Kai then tested the strength of the paper he had requested. It was sturdy enough to withstand anything he threw at it. He used whatever came to mind to try and destroy it, but to no avail.
He threw it into the fire, which was still burning, but that didn't work either. The paper remained as if it were indestructible. He submerged it in seawater to see what would happen, but it withstood that too.
Kai was both astonished and delighted. After moments of testing everything with unparalleled enthusiasm and passion, more words appeared in his mind, coming from the system:
[Anything created by the system cannot be destroyed or removed from this world unless the user requests it. Only the user who activated the system can control it.]
These words fell upon Kai like snowflakes on solid ground. They pleased him immensely. He suddenly remembered that he could request the paper to disappear entirely.
He asked the system to do so, and in an instant, the paper vanished from his hands as if it had never existed.
Kai could hardly believe it, but in some way, he was utterly amazed by the power of this supernatural system, unlike anything he had ever seen or interacted with.
Even if he were still in his own world, this system surpassed any human technology. It was magical in every sense of the word.
Kai then requested the same paper again, but this time in large quantities. Moments later, it looked as if a tornado was sweeping the shore where Kai and Arkan were.
Millions of sheets of white paper gathered in the sky, covering the horizon completely and starting to fall before Kai, who merely watched.
Then Kai requested the disappearance of this massive amount of paper once more, and in an instant, the paper tornado vanished as if it had never existed, restoring calm to the shore.
Kai kept one sheet in his hand and asked Arkan for a pen to write something down.
Arkan waved his magical fingers, and a pen appeared between them. Kai got what he wanted.
Arkan handed him the pen he had requested, and then Kai immersed himself in drawing something on the paper with extraordinary precision that Arkan had never seen before.
The lines flowed from Kai's hand as if by magic. Arkan was astonished by Kai's unique talent and watched with keen interest.
Kai finally finished the drawing he was working on, and Arkan saw it. It looked like a comic but was drawn with incredible accuracy.
Kai then placed the paper in his hands and asked the system to copy it exactly, specifying the number of copies he wanted. Moments later, a magical sight appeared before Kai, making his eyes shine with delight.
Thousands of sheets appeared before him, neatly arranged on the ground. He looked at the first sheet and found the page he had drawn, perfectly replicated. It was indeed an exact copy.
At that moment, Kai realized the true magic of this system. He could simply draw the chapter he wanted, and the system would effortlessly replicate it as many times as he desired.
Kai continued to imagine and request everything he wanted, and the system astonished him each time more than the last.
On top of all this, he still had two wishes left with Arkan. He was truly living in paradise.
Hours passed with Kai in awe of everything he saw and experienced with the system, so much so that he completely forgot about Arkan, who had grown bored and returned to the lantern in Kai's pocket without Kai noticing.
Kai had fallen in love with this system from the start and kept experimenting with every little thing, every feature and detail, until he finally felt he had had enough. He looked around for Arkan to tell him it was time to move forward.
But he found no trace of him. Then he glanced at the lantern and saw it glowing blue, realizing that Arkan had returned there without him noticing.
Noon quickly arrived, and the golden sunlight bathed the island. The waves of the sea crashed against the sand like a beautiful symphony. Kai realized it was time for his next step. He had stayed here longer than he should have.
He gathered some of his tools scattered around and put them in a bag he had gotten from the village people before.
He decided to return to the village to lay out his grand plan to start realizing his dream. After all, he had mastered part of the power of the fruit he had obtained and possessed a system that executed everything he asked of it.
Kai got everything he wanted more quickly than he expected. Then he left the shore, heading to the center of the island, where the Tree of Knowledge stood, dominating the scene before him.
