Chapter 27 - The Gala 2

For a moment, it felt like we were the only two people in the room. The world faded away, leaving just the music and the feeling of being in his arms.

Rose felt uneasy upon spotting Junior and Rain together. Battling jealousy, she struggled to maintain composure, feeling her chest tighten and thoughts cloud. Taking a deep breath, she put on a smile as she greeted the guests. Despite her aching heart, she pushed aside her emotions. "Certainly," Rain responded, her smile steady. Rose nodded, her expression tinged with a mix of emotions.

The highlight of the evening came when Mr. Lee himself took to the stage. The room fell silent as he addressed the crowd, expressing his gratitude for their presence and support. He spoke passionately about the company's vision and the bright future that lay ahead. His words were met with enthusiastic applause, and the energy in the room soared to new heights.

As the night drew to a close, we shared a quiet moment on the balcony of his bedroom, overlooking the city skyline. The twinkling lights below mirrored the stars above.

"Are you tempting me Dr"

"Maybe, you like what you see"

"defiantly"

He pulled me towards the wall unclipped his belt, unzipped his pants, pulled one leg up, and slid the dress to the side to give him full access. he drew his erect manhood and thrust in. he fucked the fuck out of me enjoying myself. It was a quickie but it sure left me wet.

Sleepover at my place tonight

Are you sure we just sleeping?

Girl please we just had an appetizer, there is still a main and dessert and I sure want to give you the moon

We went back to the party

We exchanged glances, hinting at unspoken words, playfully smiling and winking. I longed to hold his hand, but he was surrounded by other men. I wished to stand beside him, or even share a kiss. We discreetly exchanged secret kisses, ensuring others didn't notice. He reciprocated with smiles. Across the room, Rose and her friends chatted until one of them noticed our interaction and whispered to Rose, upsetting her. She left the group in a huff and sat down, clearly annoyed.

Junior suddenly approached me, excused himself, and went over to his parents. Intrigued, I asked about our destination, and he explained that we needed to personally receive thanks from the patient. With a smile, I followed him.

When we reached his parents, who were talking to another couple of similar age, Junior asked for a private moment with them. Stepping aside, he introduced me to them. Surprised to see him holding my hand, they exchanged silent glances. Sensing the tension and silence, I quickly looked down, greeted Mr. and Mrs. Lee, and praised their beautiful home.

They looked at me with surprise, making me nervously glance at Junior while biting my lip. He promptly reminded his father that I was the doctor who had saved him months earlier after an accident. Their expressions softened, and Mrs. Lee took my hand, thanking me for saving her husband's life.

Mr. Lee, also grateful, nodded in appreciation. Relieved that the awkwardness was fading, I modestly mentioned that any doctor would have done the same. I thanked them for their invitation. They blessed me, wished me well, and offered their assistance if needed.

While the night gala was buzzing, Mr. Lee went to the stage and gave thanks. In that, he said:

"I have let you know before you leave the most unanswered question." He called upon Rose and Junior.
