The Kingdom of Masamune.

It is one of the strongest swordsmen kingdoms in the world.

But War has come knocking up their doors and destroyed the peace times that was happening.

As the war continues, more and more swordsmen die, and needs to be replaced in the battlefield.

In fact this is already the Third War.

This war was initiated by Sage of the Great Kingdom Zulqifar, Hadasaah!

With the power of a Sage level swordsmanship, he took the life of the previous king of Zulqifar and executed anyone that opposed his reign!

Not long after becoming the king, he directly went on to challenge both the Kingdom of Excalibur and Masamune at the same time.

As the strongest kingdom, Excalibur decimated all of Zulqifar's swordsmen. It was almost a one sided beat down.

And so, Hadasahh decided that since he can't defeat The Kingdom of Excalibur, he'll annex his neighboring great kingdom Masamune.

Both kingdom's power were almost the same, but Zulqifar had a lower number of people because of his recent reign as the king and his loses from The Kingdom Of Excalibur.

So he dragged Masamune's greatest enemy, Kusanagi.

He schemed and made it as if Masamune's swordsmen kidnapped the people in Kusanagi's kingdom to train them into Masamune swordsmen.

This scheme worked as Zulqifar kidnapped way too many children, riling up the Kusanagi kingdom into action.

Masamune denied the allegations of the kidnappings, but the Kusanagi didn't listen, and Masamune themselves didn't want to talk to Kusanagi as they were also out for blood for the Kusanagi kingdom!

These two kingdoms were the culprits for the first and second wars that happened all those years ago.

Although from the peace times, they just moved and schemed in the dark, but with Zulqifar stirring the muddy waters, both kingdoms went ballistic and just fought it out.

But Kusanagi has an alliance with one of the five great kingdoms though, Durandal!

Now Masamune was facing three Kingdoms at the same time, but Kusanagi was also facing two, as Zulqifar also continued their harassment and kidnappings in their kingdom.

With Durandal fighting along it's ally, Kusanagi, Durandal's enemy, Excalibur also moved and striked Durandal in their rear, which made Durandal enraged.

Durandal was a newly created kingdom that bordered Kusanagi at the southwest and Excalibur at the northwest.

Durandal was once part of Excalibur and the first king at that time used the sudden eruption of the first war and claimed itself as an independent kingdom!

It took a part of Excalibur's land and people as well as their sword techniques and secret skills!

This made the King of Excalibur at that time furious! Him along with his Grandmasters went and tried to kill the leader of the rebellion!

But with the power of a sage, the leader of the rebellion managed to stop their advances and gave more land to Kusanagi as a form of alliance to help them stop Excalibur's forces to which it happened, and effectively claiming himself as the first king of Durandal!

But once again the world was at war this time because of the tyrant Hadasaah!

The king of Zulqifar has succeeded in his schemes and made the major Great Kingdoms move and fight with themselves as they forgot who started this war.

The third war went on for 10 whole years!

It was the longest war that has ever happened!

The first was only more than 3 years while the second was just 5 years, now it was doubled!

The loses on the four kingdoms was huge! A lot of swordsmen died. A lot of cities of the kingdomes were destroyed.

The balance of powers were greatly tilting towards Zulqifar.

At that time, Hadasaah thought that when he comes in at the right moment he'd win the war and dominate the whole world!

He himself was also secretly at the battlefield fighting and leading his swordsmen in the war.

Durandal's 2nd Sage at that time suddenly died at the hands of Excalibur's 8th Sage, which made Durandal back off at the war.

The sudden death of the 2nd Sage of Durandal and the involvement of Excalibur's 8th Sage stopped Hadasaah in his tracks.

He himself was secretly acting in the war in disguise so that no other Sages would move, but he didn't take into account each kingdoms hatred to their enemies.

The suddeness of the 2nd Sage's Death, Made Durandal appoint their 3rd Sage in haste.

But the New Sage Zaid was just the King Of Durandal, not a Sage Level swordsman yet.

This made Kusanagi back off too, as their ally was now a liability for them.

With Kusanagi backing off bit by bit, Masamune also backed off slowly as the war was slowly killing off their kingdom's population and working people.

Now that the war was at a stalemate, Hadasaah did not know what to do, so he decided to directly attack Masamune again this time, but as if reading his mind, the 5th Sage of Masamune, Hongo, was at the border waiting for them.

At that time Hadasaah just went straight to fight and didn't know that at the rear of his army was the swordsmen of Kusanagi along with their 6th Sage, Kira!

All those years of war, Kusanagi had already known that it wasn't Masamune who was taking their children and harassing their people but rather the Zulqifar's swordsmen who wore a disguise.

Since all of them wanted to stop this long long war, Masamune and Kusanagi's Sages decided to do an alliance for once and kill or stop Zulqifar's Sage, Hadasaah!

The pincer attack worked and Hadasaah was in between two Sage level swordsman!

He surrendered and was forced to pay for the damages that this war created.

It was a hefty sum that made the once prosperous Zulqifar kingdom nearly penniless!

He had a belly full of anger but his anger couldn't be manifested as just as he was preparing for another campaign, Excalibur's 8th Sage relinquished his seat as the King and appointed one of his students.

His name was Xander!

A descendant of the first king of the Exculibur kingdom!

And the power of his bloodline showed as he made a statement after becoming the new king that no more wars should happen.

Hadasaah laughed when he first heard it, and decided to go through his campaign and attack the now extremely weakened Durandal.

But after crossing the border of Durandal, A huge silver light suddenly erupted from the side of the kingdom of Durandal.

Then with a huge explosion, one of the mountain that was bordering Durandal and Excalibur was sliced in half as the silver light continued to destroy everything in its path towards them!

Hadasaah's army was decimated and even he himself had one of his arms cut off!

At that time he saw a man dreesed in white with a golden crown on his head, and a silver sword in his hands.

His long blond hair was flowing as he stood still in the air!

That's right, the newly crowned King of Excalibur was standing stationary in the air!

No one knew what happened after that, but all of them remembered what the new king said at his inauguration day, No More Wars!
