Chapter 7 - Vampire Classes(Lore Chapter)

The World of the Supernatural, of course, comes with the ranks of each race, vampires especially. Their government relies on a class system; whatever class you are born into means that's your standing among the rest of the vampires. These are the classes, how strong they are, and how they came to be.

Weakest Class: Thrall

Thralls are former humans that are forced to turn into semi-vampires. These vampires are weak compared to even the common class of vampires, who only have about half of their total strength. These beings are the equivalent of servants to the higher classes of vampires (Noble Class, Royal Class, and Ruler Class). Many vampires treat them as nothing more than tools, or, in some cases...toys. They have no rights in vampire society and are looked down upon by most of the higher classes of vampires.

2nd Weakest Class: Common Class

Common-class vampires are your typical vampires. They are fast and strong, but weak compared to the higher classes. They are typically used as foot soldiers by the upper-class vampires but are usually a bit unruly when it comes to exploring the human world. They are commonly found hunting by the SCA and are quickly dispatched. They are not as dangerous alone, but in large groups, they are the equivalent of a hunting pack. There is also the occasional situation where, if a thrall proves themselves, they are able to be made into a common-class vampire by being given a drop of blood by the vampire they serve. They are also the class with the highest rate of reproduction.

Middle Class: Noble Class

The Noble Class vampires are vampires born from higher-classed common vampires. They became nobility due to how valuable they were to the royal and ruling classes. In basic terms, they are common vampires but given a power boost by drinking a drop of Royal or Ruler class blood, which increased their strength by double the amount. They are also the weakest class that is able to use magic; their magic is considered "boring" and there is little to no personalization to it, unlike the higher classes, whose magic can change due to their bloodlines. They aren't given territories or land like the higher classes, but they are powerful. The noble classes usually serve as council for the royal classes, as they are usually trusted by them. They are the second-best class when it comes to reproducing.

2nd Highest Class: Royal Class

Royal-class vampires are some of the strongest vampires you could meet. They are more than two times stronger than a noble-class vampire and typically are in control of a select territory. They are the most political of the classes, as when a situation occurs that's not serious enough for the Ruler class to get involved, it is up to that Ruler's council of Royal Class vampires to make decisions. These Royal Class typically have family history amongst the vampires for possible even centuries and are extremely difficult to have children due to their raw strength. They are also able to perform personalized magic, such as manipulating red-colored ice, purple-colored lightning, etc. These magics are more powerful than those of the Noble Classes in comparison.

The Highest Class: Ruler Class

The Ruler Class is the rarest of all vampires. They were some of the first vampires to ever exist, or at least their families were. The reason that they are so rare is that after the vampire civil war about 700 years ago, out of the three hundred Ruler Class families, only about thirty of them survived. In this war, nearly 50 million human lives perished in the fighting. A Ruler class is over 7 times stronger than a common-class vampire, meaning it is the strongest type of vampire, and their need to feed is the longest among any of the other classes. A strong ruler class could go 3–4 months without needing blood; however, that doesn't stop them from enjoying their "refreshments" whenever they please. The SCA tells even their best agents to bring an army to fight a Ruler Class because if a Ruler Class goes all out, they could level an entire city by themselves.
