The next day, Alex left his room and met with a thrall woman who was wearing maid clothes. She told Alex that his grandfather was calling him into the throne room and that she would clean his room in the meantime. Alex nodded and headed to the throne room, where he saw his grandfather sitting on his throne as per usual.
Alex: So what did you need me for?
James: What? Can't I spend time with my grandson?
Alex: You could, but we both know better. Now explain.
James: Fine. Well, I just wanted to tell you that the Miyahara Clan will be arriving soon. You should get ready to receive them.
Alex: How long until they get here?
James: Two hours at most.
???: Well, look here. The prince is getting hitched.
Soon the doors to the room opened, and a pain in Alex's ass walked inside.
Alex: Dante...been awhile. I see you're as annoying as ever.
Dante is rather well known as the king's right-hand man. Dante had blue hair and gray eyes, which was a rare trait in vampires. He comes from a family that tends to like to experiment with vampire bloodlines, and many assume that Dante himself was experimented on to cause his gray eyes.
Dante: What? I just miss my nephew.
Alex: You aren't my uncle.
Dante: Your words wound me.
Alex: Good! Fuck off.
Dante: How can I? After all, I'm here to tell the King about our mission.
Alex: Mission?
???: That's right.
A second person walked through the door.
Alex: Violet...?
Violet had long black hair that was wrapped in a ponytail, as well as bright purple eyes and a tattoo of her family crest on her right shoulder.
Violet: Hello Alex. It seems your well.
Alex: Uhm...yeah, you doing okay?
Violet: You mean since you abandoned us and went to go live with the humans? I'm doing fine.
Alex: Violet, that's not-
Violet: Save it. You made it perfectly clear how you feel about us and about me.
Alex: I...
Dante: Trouble in Paradise?
Violet: Shut it.
James: Well, how did your mission go, you two?
Dante: It went fantastic. Those rogue bastards didn't stand a chance.
James: Good. Now back to your quarters. We're expecting important guests soon.
Dante: Guests?
James: The Miyahara Clan is coming to officially marry their daughter to Alex.
Dante: What?! *Turns to Violet* Did you know about this?!
Violet: Yes. I heard it right before I went on the mission.
Dante: Wow... You're lucky, my prince. I heard all three of the Miyahara daughters were beautiful. There must be some good news to come back to, huh?
Alex stayed silent as Dante ran his mouth.
Violet: If there's nothing else, I would like to ask you something, my king.
James: Yes?
Violet: I wish to fight the prince.
Alex: Huh...?
Dante: Hahahahahha!
James: You wish... to fight him?
Violet: Yes.
James: For what reason?
Violet: Personal ones.
James: *sighs* Alex, do you accept?
Alex: ...Yes.
James: Very well. In twenty minutes, we'll have the match. Please get ready.
Violet: Thank you, sir.
Violet walked past Alex while glaring at him in anger.
Dante: Now, what did you do to make her that mad? Did you fuck another girl or something?
Alex: No, and frankly, who I fuck is none of your business.
Dante: You totally did!
Alex ignored Dante's perverted mind and walked back down the hallway, hoping to catch up to Violet, but he was too late as she was nowhere to be found.
Alex: Dammit Violet...what's going on?
Alex met up with Lena, Issen, and Victor, who were talking in the hallway together.
Alex: Hey, you three.
Lena: Hey Alex, we heard-
Issen: Are you seriously gonna fight Violet?
Alex: Seems so.
Victor: Did she tell you why?
Alex: No, I'm hoping to figure it out during or after the fight.
Lena: Well...she wasn't exactly happy when you left.
Issen: She ended up destroying an entire building in anger.
Alex: Damn...
Lena: Yeah, which is why you should be careful.
Faye: Alex!
Out of nowhere, Faye appeared and jumped on Alex's back.
Faye: I heard you're going to fight one of those harlots for me. Thank youuuu!
Alex: F-For you?
Faye: Yeah, I gotta get rid of the competition!
Alex: Competition for what?
Faye: For you, of course. Gotta kill Violet, that Miyahara bitch, then...Lena.
Lena: Why me?!
Faye: Because you're a potential love interest.
Lena: I-I...
Alex: Faye. Nobody is killing anybody; now would you please get off my back?
Faye: Why? Are you getting hard from my chest on your back?
Alex: I'm not; just get off!
Faye giggled before hopping off of Alex's back.
Faye: Put up a good fight, Alex! If you win, I'll give you a reward~
Faye disappeared down the hall, and all Alex could do was sigh.
Lena: Well...uhm...
Victor: Faye being Faye, but ignoring her, it's almost time.
Alex: I know... I'll talk to you three later.
Issen: Alright, man.
Lena: Good luck Alex!
Alex walked into the throne room, and a makeshift ring on the floor was there. Violet stood across from him in the left corner, while Alex walked over to the right corner. Violet drew her katana as she stared Alex down.
Violet: You ready?
Alex nodded and looked over at James, who raised his hand.
James: And...
