Chapter 31 - Fighting for every Point

When the news broke that Jamar was out for the rest of the tournament, the team nearly broke down. The plays Coach Anderson had meticulously crafted were all designed with Jamar on the court. Losing him felt like losing their foundation, and the players' spirits sank as they realized the uphill battle that lay ahead.

Coach Anderson had to rally his team, instilling confidence and determination in the locker room. "Listen up, everyone," he said, his voice steady and encouraging. "We're not out of this fight yet. We've got talent, and we've got heart. Kevin, you're stepping into the starting lineup. I want you to play with the intensity and focus you bring every day."

Kevin Monroe nodded, his face set with resolve. Though he lacked the ability to create his own shot and wasn't quick enough to drive into the paint, his all-around skills and defensive prowess were undeniable. Kevin's opportunity had come, and he was determined to make the most of it.
