Chapter 6 - The Expected Outcome

Tonight, we are expecting Angel Strong to join us for a reunion. Prepare the table, for we are going to feast," commanded Master Luci Kang, his voice resonating with anticipation.

"Yes, Master," Angel Bang Lee responded promptly, bowing slightly before hurrying off to carry out the orders.

Luci Kang continued, "I believe Angel Green Yul is still in the cell, and Ching Mo must have persuaded him to join our struggle. However, we still need to find out if Angel Ching Mo is succeeding with the plan."

"Let me go to the Lord's chambers to check for any progress," Angel Bang Lee offered.

"Okay, you may proceed. Let the other angels handle the preparations for the feast," Luci Kang instructed, dismissing him with a wave.

On his way to the Lord's chambers, Angel Bang Lee encountered Angel Shang, who looked concerned. "Why were you absent from the prayer convention this morning?" Angel Shang asked, his eyes narrowing with suspicion.

Bang Lee remained silent for a moment, staring at Angel Shang thoughtfully. After a brief pause, he continued on his way without answering, leaving Angel Shang bewildered. When Bang Lee arrived at the Lord's chambers, he found the gates locked. Confused and concerned, he pondered the situation.

"I must report to Master Luci Kang. Something unusual is happening, and we must address it immediately," he thought. Without hesitation, he turned back to inform his master.

On his return, Angel Shang saw Bang Lee again and approached him. "Why are you moving up and down the kingdom?" he asked, frustration evident in his tone.

Bang Lee, trying to maintain his composure, replied, "I am coming from the Lord's chambers, but all entrances are locked. The Lord is having a quiet time."

"Is there a problem?" Angel Shang asked, his concern deepening.

But Angel Bang Lee walked away without responding, leaving Angel Shang even more puzzled.

Upon reaching Luci Kang, Bang Lee reported, "Master, all gates to the Lord's chambers are locked. Angel Shang mentioned that the Lord is having a quiet time. Our expectations are high, and I am concerned about what may be happening."

Luci Kang's expression darkened. "Please go to the celestial waters to see if you can find any angels there. We need more information," he directed.

Angel Bang Lee proceeded to the celestial waters with a sense of urgency. There, he encountered Angel Dang Yung, the second-in-command to Ching Mo. Dang Yung had been promised a significant position if Ching Mo succeeded in taking over the entire kingdom. Fearful of Luci Kang's wrath, Angel Dang Yung hesitated before speaking.

"Please follow me to my master, Luci Kang. You need to explain everything to him directly," Angel Bang Lee urged.

Dang Yung nodded nervously and followed Bang Lee back to Luci Kang's chambers. Upon arrival, Bang Lee announced, "Master, I have brought Angel Dang Yung, Ching Mo's second-in-command. He has crucial information to share."

Luci Kang's eyes narrowed as he looked at Dang Yung. "Go ahead, my boy. Speak."

Trembling slightly, Dang Yung began, "Master, Angel Green Yul was released from the cell yesterday during the prayer convention. He followed Angel Ching Mo to the fire lake. When Ching Mo was about to hand over the keys to Angel Strong, Green Yul used the golden sword to injure both Ching Mo and Strong. Both of them were seriously injured."

Luci Kang's face darkened with anger. The revelation was a severe blow to their plans, and the Lord's second-in-command could barely contain his rage. "Leave my presence while I contemplate our next move," he commanded Bang Lee, his voice seething with frustration.

Angel Bang Lee bowed and exited the chamber, leaving Luci Kang to ponder their strategy. The recent events had thrown their plans into disarray, but Luci Kang knew they had to act swiftly. The power struggle for control of the kingdom had reached a critical juncture, and they could not afford any more setbacks.

As the angels dispersed to carry out their respective tasks, the air was thick with tension and a sense of impending conflict. The path ahead was fraught with danger and uncertainty, but Luci Kang and his followers were determined to emerge victorious. The fate of the kingdom depended on their resolve and ability to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances.
