Chapter 10 - The Hidden Discovery

Angel Shang, during his meticulous inspection of the incubated angels, noticed that one particular angel was missing. As he scanned the rows of angels, his eyes caught sight of a distinctive mark on the absent angel. Aware that revealing his suspicions too soon might cause unnecessary alarm, Shang chose to continue his inspection, pretending that all was well. Once he finished, Shang knew he had to inform the Godhead about his concerns, so he proceeded directly to the Godhead's chambers. However, upon arrival, he found that the Godhead was in deep meditation, his presence serene and impenetrable. Realizing it was not the right moment to disturb the Godhead, Shang decided to leave and return later when the Godhead was more accessible.

Returning to the inspection area, Shang found that the marked angel was still missing. He approached the other angels, who informed him that the marked angel had left not long ago, but they did not know where he had gone. Shang advised them to continue their duties faithfully and assured them that he would look into the matter. Mounting his horse, he departed with a sense of urgency, determined to resolve the mystery of the missing angel.

On his way back to the Godhead's chambers, Shang encountered Angel Green Yul. Shang shared his observations about the marked angel, describing the distinctive mark and the angel's sudden disappearance. Green Yul listened intently and then smiled knowingly, hinting that they had more significant issues at hand. He offered to take over Shang's duties, suggesting that Shang take some rest. Green Yul promised to inform Shang immediately if any concrete evidence surfaced. Reluctantly, Shang agreed, trusting Green Yul's judgment, and headed to his rest chamber within the Godhead's quarters.

Several hours later, Shang felt uneasy and decided to check the environment around the Lord's chambers to ensure everything was in order. As he walked quietly through the halls, he overheard a conversation between an unknown individual and the imprisoned angels, Ching Mo and Dang Yung. The conversation was taking place through a small ventilation hole. Realizing that someone was approaching, the mysterious person fled. Shang quickly confronted Ching Mo and Dang Yung, who nervously claimed they were merely talking to each other. Unsatisfied with their explanation and feeling a growing sense of urgency, Shang mounted his horse and pursued the suspect. From a distance, he saw a figure running towards Mount Olive. Convinced it might be the marked angel, Shang decided to return to the chambers, hoping to gather more information before taking further action.

The following morning, Shang went to relieve Green Yul from his duty. Green Yul, however, suggested that Shang wait until the afternoon when the Godhead would provide instructions for an upcoming program. Shang agreed to this arrangement, feeling a mix of anticipation and concern. While they were waiting, the marked angel appeared and, with a hint of defiance, asked if they were looking for him. Both Green Yul and Shang denied it, claiming they were just checking on him. The marked angel seemed satisfied with their response and returned to his seat, but Shang's suspicion only deepened.

As the Godhead arrived, all the angels bowed deeply in respect. The Godhead expressed his gratitude for their patience and commitment to the kingdom's duties, emphasizing the importance of their primary mission concerning the humans on Earth. His words resonated deeply, reminding the angels of their higher purpose. He then announced that a water cleansing ceremony would take place the following day, a ritual meant to purify and strengthen their spirits. After delivering his message, the Godhead returned to his chambers to continue with his other obligations.

Meanwhile, Green Yul and Shang resumed their investigation with renewed determination. They were resolved to uncover the truth behind the marked angel and the mysterious occurrences that had unsettled their celestial realm. Their investigation would require patience, vigilance, and unwavering dedication to their divine mission.
